I have Verizon galaxy s4 stock.
When I get a call, I swipe to answer and hear no sound in or out.
Have to restart to call the person back.
Is there a fix for this??

Anyone else having an issue where sometimes your phone will ring, sometimes it won't? It always shows a call coming in but I don't always have sound with it. It;s about 50/50. Is there a known fix for this?
Speaker muted/mode in silent??
I am also having the same issue since rooting to 2.1. What I've found is that when a call is incoming, it goes to "speaker is muted". Then I find that my phone is in 'silent' mode. When I go to settings and change it to 'normal' mode, it will ring for an incoming call but the speaker will mute and I cannot hear the ring. What is causing this and is there a known fix?

i was wondering if someone can help me with a annoying issue i am having with my phone
Whenever i am on a phone call and someone sends me a sms/message, the ringtone i have assigned to messages/sms plays through the speaker (not loud speaker) and all i can hear is a loud message notification and not the actual person i am talking too.
Any ideas how to get rid of this annoying issue?

Go into phone settings and select call alerts and disable alerts during phone calls.

I have the problem that when I receive a message or email, my phone vibrates and plays the notification sound also during a phone call which is extremely annoying, also for the person on the other side.
Any chance I can change this? It want the sound and vibrating, but NOT during phone calls.

Hi there I have the same problem and couldn't agree with u more.it it's really annoying when in a call and u can hear it going off in ear.I'd love to no if there is any way possible to stop this.....

I'm looking for an app that will reduce the sound of my voice call quality (either just outbound or both). Preferably something I can turn on when a phone call gets too long and I need an excuse to hang up, but something that I can just have on and will make every phone call sound bad would work, too.

When I make calls using this feature, I d not here any ringing on my end, the person just answers...
Is this the way it works? Missing a setting?
Sometimes it rings sometimes it doesn't. I had very low in call volume. I toggled it on and my in call volume was fixed.
