The closest thing I found was in the xposed framework, you enable the brightness slider and they have a toggle right there. Pretty cool

There's a stock widget, called assistant light or something along the lines of that

Yes. And sadly it's 2x1 in size, whixh is a stupid waste of space.

Is there a mod out there that will change my notification drop down to have all of the power tools like the Samsung Captivate? I am not a fan of having to use widget space for something that should be standard to the OS. Thanks in advance for your response.

Then LINK to it. Might be others with same question.
This is the icon for Wifi direct.
You can turn it off by going into:
Settings->more settings->and there you will see Wifi direct being on
Cheers

I haven't used that one, but if it's an option, it will be in the notification bar settings.
I believe Super Nexus is pretty basic so it may not be there. I am using Jamie's Carbon ROM.

you can change that in any Rom.
You just have to replace the png within the apk manually...
Just because it isn't built into settings doesn't mean you can't do it...
SystemUI.apk
Hahaha that's awesome .. Anytime I see you post parrot imma call you poop here or rootzwiki

Stock dpi calls on the drawable-xhdpi folder in all apps
I posted about this in the general section as well but it doesn't seem to be getting much attention.
I am trying to make custom sized icons similar to the windows 8 tiles. I have been using the icon switcher app but can't disable the app logo on the bottom of the widgets. (See pic)
Does anyone know of another app that will allow me to get the same look without the app name?

I use Desktop Visualizer. You can see the size of the tile at the bottom of each sized widget so you can make your icons the correct size.

Use it with halo together now cause these floating windows are better than the halo ones.
