The developer would mention your device clearly in his post if your device was supported. As for GB rom, I don't know of any bug free GB rom for the neo l but you can try cm7, check the list of all the roms for it, the list is in the neo android development thread somewhere, search for it.

To answer your question. you can use any xperia play rom as long as its stock based
and neo means the original neo
There 3 phones in neo lineup.
Xperia Neo. Xperia Neo V, Xperia Neo L

Dear friend,i suggest u try CM 7.2,NXT r1 or r2 and DiXperia 3...

At least tell us if you got a Neo or Neo V.Also do lot of searching,everything is already explained in various threads in dev section

There is no specific topic for CWM in neo L, my guess will be to try installing it the same way it installs in other xperias running ICS. There is a topic in dev section for installing CWM in neo.

What is FW version on your Neo L?

You could just flash the stock kernel using flashtool..kernel links are in my thread..

People are having bootloop problems on 2.5 installation... Maybe patch is for that...

I saw that there is already a patch in developer section, but when I uploaded this there wasn't one. As you can see I don't post to much so i can´t upload it in developer section. I think at this moment this patch is useless.

there is no camera in my neo v ......though i installed an addition camera app nd its working fine......
wifi direct not working(big problem).....i installed this rom because i wanted wifi direct in my phone......this rom is fast but every time i start wifi direct.....it says couldn't start wifi direct...
it was working fine before but after 1 or 2 times.....its not working now......
i installed this patch but nothing happend....

Well, i'm not sure either how to check for a locked or unlocked bootloader, from your words, it might be locked.
Ultimate HD is my personal favorite, almost 0 bugs. Try it.

Atomic GB v8 its a perfect rom with complete xperia S/Z themed framework etc .. Look at arc forum .. Iam using it since 2 month and no problems except battery drain

From factory it is locked and to flash custom roms it should be unlocked,
To check the bootloader unlocking allowed or not type *#*#7378423#*#*
Config--service info there you will find bootloader unlock
