Dear XDA,
I know there are a lot of ''Pixel threads'', but I can't find a good answer on my question.
I have a pixel which is only white on black and blue screens, on all other colours the pixel works perfectly. Is it a dead or a stuck pixel?
And if it's a stuck pixel, are there ways to fix it? Could you tell me the best software tricks/apps or things to do with pressure or somthing?
Thanks in advanced, I hope I'll find the answer I'm looking for!
Guys?

Attached pictures of the upper left corner taken with an One S through a magnifying glass, anybody out there with the same problem?
Beside this, the upper left and right corner creaks on soft pressure and the device reboots in my pocket in standby mode from time to time.
Send it to a HTC service centre for checks. My back casing also somehow breaks on touching the corners

Yup sending it to service centre would be the wisest thing to do but it'll take time .
Now at HTC Service, i'll keep you posted.
After 4 Weeks @ HTC Service Center Austria the device returned unrepaired. Software Update has been applied nothing more. Now its again at the Service Center.
Meanwhile i bought another one, after 5 Weeks in use, the same faulty pixels .... wtf?!
No more HTC, i want a new device in build-quality like my HTC Desire was!!!
nope. Just you, sorry

Got another Desire X from my coworker, same subpixel problems like my two Desire X handsets, but he didn't mention it before i checked the device.
You need to boost the display-backlight to full intensity and take a black photo, just cover the lens and press the shutterbutton. Review the taken black photo and look out for faulty subpixels.

Mines are clearly visible on white and dark colours.

I think there are more affected ppl out there, but most of them won't notice the faulty pixels.

Second repair attempt of my first DX after 8 weeks done.
Display still pixel faulty.... My second Desire X looks like a christmas tree, pixel failures increasing. Going to visit the repaircenter on my own for the third attempt of first device, and first attempt of my second.
Damn...

Don't know if this belongs here or Q&A but I was wondering what's up with quick settings on the notification bar? I don't have any up top and was wondering if this was something I'd have to root my phone for.

There aren't any. You'll need a custom ROM.
You can download some from Play Store such as Power Toggles which is what I use. There are others as well and to each their preference. Other than that I wait for CM/AOKP.

Am I just imagining things or was this not part of sense at one point or another?

Oh and thanks for recommending me the Power Toggles, I've been using that. I still wish there was a baked in solution, do any of the sense roms have it enabled?

I can't see any slowdowns but to tell you the truth I always flash a new ROM every week or two so that might be why I'm not seeing anything get slow

I'm hoping that the original stock Rom of the phone won't slow down.. Ill flash my phone after a year of usage

I'm indeed having those problems, but not getting the update because I'm using a custom rom. Is anyone able to upload the updated people app?
I'd love to, but have no idea where to look. Have no root by the way, tell me where to look and i will.

Cool that an update for that bug is coming. I found that removing facebook contact sync. A restart. Then enabling the facebook contact sync fixed the issue.

Can someone upload the file some where else? I've tried every one of the mirrors and all they do is load tons of popups and keep forwarding me to different spam sites. I'm plagued with the android.process.acrore issue but am on a custom rom and really need this fix. Thanks!

Hi all,
I had the one x plus on att for few days now and all I notice is jitterness in apps like Facebook, flipboard, pulse news, and chrome.
The scrolling is not smooth at all, very jittery.
Anyone with the same issue or do I have a faulty device?
