I tried to install custom ROM in my phone and its bricked.
Many of my friends having the same phone have done it through someone else.
I too want to have a cynogenmod 9 in my cell. Please help me out .
Can you enter recovery.

galaxy ace 5830i doesn't have stable cm 9 (we don't even have stable cm 7)..
our developers are working on it..so don't try to install cm on 5830i
may be your friends own the regular ace 5830 (which is different than 5830i)
to recover your phone,

I cant find any help with custom roms for sumsung gt s5839i all i found was this thread here saying is not able to use cm mod on my device http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1655862 but i have my device rooted thanks to this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1690554 ..........and one last question can i use custom roms of s5830 with my device? Thank you in advance

Can anybody help me by telling me if there is any custom rom available for my samsung gt i5503.. And also can i flash custom roms made for galaxy 5 gt i5500 on my phone.. Has anybody tried the method.. Also can anybody explain if i have to unlock the bootloader or not..
P.s. I have already rooted my phone

Actually there's no difference between the GT-I5503 and GT-I5500.. Same on the hardware side..
Yes, you can flash the custom ROM's available for the Galaxy 5 GT-I5500.
If you are on Eclair then flash any I5500L froyo (because this works great with indian phones) firmware and then move on to flashing other ROM's
You can get more custom ROM's on MADTeam website

I've been a long time in XDA and recently got this phone and do not know if I can use that roms, appreciate if you could guide me a bit.

Okay, it depends. There are two options that I will give you: MindCr and Ceberus V5, I've tried both of them, and they have an ics style, but it is based on stock. For me those are the best roms for s5830m

Wrong section, go to the correct thread (5830i), if you knew your phone only suppots 5830i roms why did you ask for it in GT-S5830 thread??

If you install a S5830 rom in your S5830i you will brick your phone.

I am using the 5830M version, flash any rom made for the 5830I as it will not hurt your phone cause they use the same chip, etc...

I hardly found root file n CWM for my ace duos
So please suggest me if u have any 4.4 custom rom for ace duos
so far i have rooted my device , installed CWM, n got some software like titanium backup plus, chainfire 3d pro n lucky patcher

I use this ROM and very much satisfied with UI and performance
type on goógle 'KITKAT UPDATE FOR ACE DUOS(NEXT V2)' hit enter and follow the first result.
If there's an ICS rom for galaxy ace GT-s6802 then plz tell
