[Request] Stock 1.6 E10i ftf - Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Mini

Hi people
It's simple, i need the stock 1.6 for X10 mini E10i in ftf format to flash it through flashtool, i tried with SEUS to get the stock but it says i already have the latest version and it doesn't give the option to install stock version anyway, so i need to do a downgrade, i've looked in xda, htc mania and many other pages that appeared in google but there is not 1.6 ftf version available only broken links, so if someone still have it please update it. I can't use the smartphone cause it keeps looping in the bootloader i can just flash with flashtool but even though i tried with nAa kernels to flash custom roms it still loop in boobloader.
I really need that stock rom to downgrade
Please help
Thanks

Not sure that will do you any good. If you're stuck in a bootloop with both your original firmware and with custom firmware your phone probably is broken somehow.
But, the easiest way to get to the repair option in SEUS is to disconnect your phone and choose update. It can't find your phone so it will give you a repair option. Just follow the instructions from there.
Failing that: Here is a 2.1 firmware for flashtool.

Nevermind, i fixed it already, just tried a couple more times with nAn 14 and flashing my latest backup. Besides i had the 2.1 in ftf and flashed it but didn't work, that's why i needed 1.6, so the update option could be available.
But thanks anyway

originally, it's x10a.. i chose the latest one which is 435, now i ll try the 504, hope this works
you can download the original firmware from this link
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=683793
flash it with flash tool
enjoy..........
The reason you didn't had network signal may be that not all roms work with all basebands, so it could have been rom related. Have you also waited till the rom rebooted a few times?

Back to stock help

Please help me out with this. I really dont have time to search the thousands of posts and threads. I have done a few google searches but found nothing.
I need to get a xperia x10 ATT back to stock ROM. No custom anything. Are there any flashable .zips that are out there to do this? I need a flashable zip to flash it just like with the custom roms.
Thanks

I can help you more if you need it in the morning. This will give you an idea to at least help you or get maybe help you figure it out.
The stock will be 2.1.
Or, you can connect your device in flashmode w/ PC companion open and select the repair option...
Once compleated your device' ll be on stock (2.1)
Hope it helps =D
You can download PC companion from SE site. Click phone update and click repair phone and then flash your phone (should be charged at least 50%) like using flash tool and then the PC companion will download software and flash to stock ROM.
I repaired using se pc app. It flashed. But ut didnt do anything. After reboot custom rom is still on

Not worked... it says I already have the latest version and then closes...
Have you tried flashing SE stock kernel back? or are you already on SE stock kernel?
I tried SE Stock kernel found on D4's post, you know?
So when you boot your phone do you get the sony logo?
do you have D4s kernel?
the zip attached is SE stock kernel, you need this before you can repair your phone.
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
When I boot with official sony kernel found on d4's post it appears sony logo, but then I can't install the original software from SEUS, tried again, and again and again, I want so badly try using ModS Black, but still can't :'(
Try flashing the kernel I posted in my other post, and then try SEUS the one from me. I cant work out why its not working as ive bricked my phone so many times and used SEUS every time
Extract the kernel from the zip.
I'm trying another original kernel, maybe this one works... let's see

Now trying SEUS...

Doesn't work , now will try your kernel (from your post), it's saying I already have the most recent version... WTH I can't repair via it???

What flash tool are you using?
So you have the right tool, and I know the kernel I gave you works
Sent from my U20i using xda premium
0.2.9.1, I think... Just flashed your kernel, now will try SEUS again
Didn't work
so what ROM is installed on your phone? can you enter recovery?
SE Stock, I flashed the .ftf files found on a post from bin4ry called 2.1 + flashtool, or something like that, it's found on x10 mini pro development
im running out of ideas, i just cant work it out lol
lol, do you have an official sony 2.1 update for us or europe?
I also got the firmware from http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=826455 same as you but I had trouble flashing the firmware so I just turned my phone off and connected it to SEUS and it flashed its own firmware on.
I will try again tomorrow with full charge, maybe works

[Q] how to update 62 to 73FW

Hi to all,
i have my new xperia s (its great), anyway i already unlock the bootloader (thanks to DooMLoRD and Sony), now my question is how do i update my fone with 62 fw to 73 fw cause it seems that 73 fixes the battery problem?
is there anyone can also give me the link for the 73fw as well as its instructions?
also, once the ICS is release for xperia s is there no conflict once i updated my version to 73?
thanks in advance.
edit: nevermind about the link i found it
edit: thanks for everyone in this forum. now i have successfully updated my xperia s from .62 to .73 and now its rooted. and now il wait for the ICS
i do not know if i will install cfw but for now there is a huge improvement in battery. , maybe il stick to the pre-rooted fw and wait for the ICS before installing any CFW.
May I know how?
May I know that, how you upgraded your firmware from .62 to .73 since you have unlocked the bootloader?
Do you flash the pre-rooted firmware by yourself?
What is your ori generic fw? For me I really hard to find my own country fw...
Here it is

ive downloaded the orig ftf (for backup), you can choose whatever you like but i choose the sg ftf and the pre rooted firmware of sg.
first you need a flashtool
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1588586
and then u need the ftf (orig and pre rooted)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1599303
and for the instructions on flashing the original firmware
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=928343
and for flashing the pre-rooted firmware (look for post by 4lex96 i think its the 4th post on third page)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1597784&page=3
thats it goodluck.

Still stuck myself for decision...
Thank you for your info 1st. This give me a guide how to "ROOT" my SXS.
However, after flash in the .73 SG generic firmware, will I face problem while the official ICS update launch?
Is it at that time I will need to wait someone to pack the ftf and upload here then I just can update to ICS?
Haih, headache...
Also plan to use DoomKernel (Advanced Stock) to easily root the phone, dunno what problem will happen...

i thinks theres no problem on getting the ics update its just that the update that youre getting will be based on SG firmware.
yeah i think so too that once the ics is release they will upload here a ftf for it.
i'd tried the doomkernel (advanced stock) last week have no problem at all,
but im on a ROM now so i installed the doomkernel 04a, by the way im using
KAspeed ROM.
anyway if u flash the stock advanced kernel, you can always get back to stock by flashing the original kernel from the stock firmware.
Thank you again.
Well thank you again for the info.
I will try it in this few days, hehe.
btw, you used and using DoomKernel right.
If I flash back the original kernel from advanced kernel, will I lost root and the recovery?

im sure that you will loose recovery but about the root i dont know, if u flash the pre rooted firmware before the doomkernel and then go back to stock maybe the root will not disappear but im not sure havent tried.
Thank you.
Okay. Roughly I got the idea about it.
Now I try to root the firmware that I packed out. Still learning.
Still got long way for the ICS update yet. Haha
Thank you.

[Q] Stock Rom, how to backup to ftf?

Hi,
I'd like to experiment with kamarush's roms for the mini pro. They seem fast and stable, and better than the official ics update for now.
However,
I always need to go through wotanserver to be able to downgrade, as I have a Belgian Azerty version, and I can't find the correct firmware online.
So... How can I back up the full firmware that is now on my device?
(Stock Mini Pro, 2.3.4 build 62, not rooted)
You can't create a .ftf file from your phone (only through Sony Update Service and MAYBE through PC Companion, wait for someone to confirm this). So I think you could:
a) Try a Software Repair through PC Companion (if someone confirms it), that will download your original firmware. Then check the forum for a tutorial about how to create .ftf files.
b) Root, install CWM Recovery and create a full backup. If you want to come back to stock ROM, just flash whichever .ftf file, root, install CWM and restore your backup. That should do it.

I am looking for this kind of confirmation. Is it possible to create a .ftf file using PC companion?

Probably...But you will need a COMPLETE update not a minor update ...As in .431 to .587 is a minor update but .62 to .587 is a major update and you might be able to get the binary blobs to make FTF ...Best way is using SEUS however ...You can't go wrong with it ...
Also probably you are better off creating new thread rather than bumping 1 and a half year threads ...

their is no need to back up tft file since stock files are availabl to download AND flash ( require which version your phone having CHECK YOUR PHONE SETTING)
as well their is sony update service to repair and update your phone.
by the way you can do one thing if you really wanna back up just root your phone install CWM And do nandroid recovery (back up)
for further help look into my Sony live with walkman post (kinda boring) but it will help you in future.
