Mic issue in kernel NOF v3.0 onward - Barnes & Noble Nook Tablet

I am not able to reply to the kernel thread in development section and therefore I'm posting here.
I'm using 11/06/13 carbon rom.
Mic works in NOF nemesis v2.4. From NOF showrime v3 onward, it is broken.
Thanks go to all the developers.

ME TOO ITS ANNOYING I would really like this fix.

(Using LiquidSmooth's JB)

You need to get your post count up before you can contrib in the dev forums. I am pretty sure his is aware the issue still exist.

Rom recommendations?

Hello all, I'm new around here but no stranger to the galaxy tab & gt i9000 forums. I've flashed many roms and love every minute of it
I lost my original galaxy s last week but luckily my insurance covered it. The company didn't have any in stock, so i was automatically upgraded to the S II, which I received today. RESULT!
Anyways, the development section is HUGE here so i was wondering whether anyone could recommend a rom or two to try out. I upgraded manually to 2.3.5 (XWKI8) and I'm rooted
I'm after something fairly close to stock. And by this I mean Samsung stock, I like all their apps etc! But also as themable as possible. On the original galaxy s I was a big fan of darky's rom & also used cm7 as well as a few others. I'm using overcome on my tab and looking forward to trying their rom when it's released...
Any pointers would be really helpful *finger Hoovers over thanks button*

Try revolution rom . this is a base rom and very expandable with the kitchen app. You won't regret it.

agree,it's a great rom!
revolution rom with speedmod t41 kernel, _ _ _ king great.
Jkays themes and mods can be used on rooted stock Samsung roms.
Check the theme section for themes that can be used with odexed firmware.

Thanks all, I'm out & about at the mo but will investigate later. I'll also have to investigate the kitchen app...

Hey guys, so I upgraded to revolution and really like it just one prob- the different mods work well but the status bar and battery mods aren't working for me. Tried wiping cache and dalvik but remains as stock :-( so I'll need to investigate further. But besides that my quadrant is through the roof! Thanks!

[ROM](FINAL) SUPER Open Source Rom, Add Swype, 2.3.7 EGL tweak w/supsettingsV20

This is a port of the SuperOSR or super open source rom. It is developed by the super team. Here is there description quoted from their web page
8.6-AW SuperAosp Samsung Galaxy S
Notapor superatmel "June 10, 2011, 16:02
SuperAosp
Special thanks to the creator of the theme inexus from which I was inspired to give a graphic touch to the rom.
This rom (not a mod) has been developed entirely from the source of Google and very little of Cyanogen framework.
Thanks to Cyanogen and all his staff for the contributions received.
This rom I have installed three terminals, a free Poland, and two orange, one with a month and another one day, the three smoothl.
I used Atinm CM& rom to port it to our device.
I did not hellraise as that didn't work for this one, But I have ported this rom to another device so was aware that the CM7 files and SuperOSR files are very compatible.
I like to think that SuperOSR is a colorful and interactive CM7 that is easy to use. Instead of CM7 settings you have supsettingsV20
A LIL ABOUT ME
This is not my first rom, but I have only had the phone for one day before making Rom. I have modded and/or ported roms for the x10 the motorola bravo and now the thrill 3D. This rom is visually made to be caught up to mu thrill rom so i can update them around the same time. I am slowly getting used to Samsung files.
Thanks to all the other developers in the Infuse/sgs2 forums. My base file is stock gingerbread modding tricks from several developers. You can use most gingerbread kernels with this rom.
Must have cwm recovery to install. This install does not erase data but always remember to manually delete data if you are not coming from a CM7 based Rom... and backup your data and rom
HOW TO INSTALL
Prerequisite: You must be running a kernel with CWM.
1) Download SuperOSR ROM and place it on your SD card.
2) Power off your phone.
3) With the phone powered off, hold both volume buttons and the power button for about 10 seconds and then release all three when you see the Galaxy S II logo disappear and reappear. This should boot you into CWM.
4) Select "wipe data/factory reset, wipe cache, wipe advanced/dalvick".
5) Select "install zip from sdcard" and navigate to and select VISION_ROM
6) Once done click Reboot System Now
7) when first start you must pick lancer of choice as default or will lose home button.
I am not responsible for what you do to your phone. Use at your own risk.

Waiting, almost patiently for this.
Could someone enlighten us on SuperOSR? Did a little research and looks like the core project is out of Spain (most of the core documentation is in Spanish so I couldn't read it).
Looks like it's an offshoot of CM (sort of like MIUI)? Is that right?
UPDATE: I was able to gleem this info: "SuperOSR is a rom based off a mix of AOSP & CyanogenMod sources, with own modifications made by SuperTeam"
Yes.. I ported this on x10 days. Like a more interactive colorful cm7
I couldn't hellraise it but was able to blend kang cm7 with it to port it...

I'm excited thanks for bringing this to at&t galaxy s2.

its a themed CM7. and you can "hellraise" it to a degree bro.
It was easier yo just mix on my own since I did this for other device.. tried the hellraise for ease.. but no go..
Only problem having right now is internal sdcard not mounting...
Everything else seems to be working

I will say I like it better than cm7. Will give a heads up in a few days of use.

Will the i9000 jb 4.2 ROM work our vibe????

Sent from my SGH-T959 using xda app-developers app
I think you should try it.
But seriously, obviously it should. Seeing as how all of our current ROMs are directly/indirectly from I9000.
Change kernel/modem/key layout and should be good.
Hoping Der has his own rom coming out soon 4.2
P.S. this is the general section, don't ask questions here or i will find you and shove your vibrant up your ass

Yes it work , but because there is no 4.2 kernel for the vibrant you may encounter some minor problems for me l had audio, WiFi and keys layout I got WiFi working fine by toggling airplane mode and Bluetooth and reboot , everything else work fine the ROM is smooth and fast as cm10 . but to flash the ROM you may need to flash a i9000 kernel reboot into recovery and them flash the ROM to avoid status 9 or 7 there is a i9000 kernel you can used in the i9000 4.2 section page 34 # 333 for audio i download soundabout from the market.

they are ported ROMs so it should work

And does it work smooth ?
Because all the roms almost have transparency but none works as they have to, like while going in drawer or coming out of it shows the transparency effect :/
And seriously it annoys :/
Not being rude or mean.
Just sharing my thoughts.
P.s does navigation bar have a power button to add in it ?
So sorry for asking, i know i can try it my self but I'm actually not connected with my wifi and my mobile internet is about to ..

Too early but first impressions are its quite nice. Little bit bloated with themes, folder creations and weird Chinese market stuff but once i removed personnel unwanted bloat and slimmed it down its kind of growing on me. Love some of the features like data rate notification but could do with some little extras. I'm a massive fan of slimbean but this ROM has got a lot of potential.
P.s wow mokee has changed from GB days.
Overall I quite like the release, keep up the good work.
Back to testing further......

If overclocking was removed, it's either for stability reasons or they want you to use a 3rd party app to control it. Are there other custom kernels that are compatible with it for your phone that do support OCing?
