On Dolphin Browser 10, does anyone know how I can change the location of the vertical search websites?
For example you can search something then press the Amazon button to search for it but it uses the US version of Amazon. Is there a way to change this to the UK version?
It's a pretty new browser and I've looked in the settings with no luck.
I've contacted the support team and awaiting a reply. If anyone knows how to change the settings let me know!

Hi all, I was looking to other threads regarding this issue, and couldn't find a setting for the default browser to do not show the webpages as for a mobile device. Kind of annoying.
I know other browsers have this capacity like opera, but wondering if somebody found a tweak to do this with the android browser?

If you have upgraded to Touch Wiz UX, then you can do so in settings\lab\quick controls. In stock HW 3.1 I believe it is not possible.

If you enter "about:debug" in the stock browser a debug menu is added under the browser settings. You can change the UAString to desktop. That's what I did to solve this problem

Apologies to all if this has been addressed recently, but I couldn't find anything from 2012. Having received my Nexus 4 this week I'd like to start using Chrome again as it is very fast (unlike with the Nexus S where it was barely usable). My question is, how do you change the default search engine in the omnibox? I am in France and the default is google.fr but I'd prefer .com or .co.uk. Settings gives me three options other than google.fr:
-Ask jeeves (UK ask.com)
-Yahoo! UK and Ireland
-Bing.com
Seems a bit odd that only the google option is in French. Is it possible to change this without rooting?

This is such a great app for live TV (UK) Freesat channels.
But I thought it would be excellent if I could browse the web while watching/listening to the news, or QI on DAVE etc.
So here it is.
I modded it to work as a multiview floating app, and it works great.
Install, launch from pop up bar, switch to cascade view, select your channel, open channel (not app) in full screen, pin it, now you have a floating re-sizable TV on your tab
As I say works great for me on JB 4.1.1 (now 4.1.2), I hope it works for all
Let me know if it works on your devices.
***If you the app already installed, remove it first...

So it's not working outside of UK...
installed fine but I'm still confused on how to actually get it into popup view ?
yes me to installed tried different methods but cant get it to floating like videos do (how do you pin it ),please explain for us in more detail please only can get it in mutiveiw but dont need mod for that cheers
If you guys hold down the back button to launch the split screen menu, TV Catchup now appears and you can open it and view on one of the 2 split screens. Simple

we always could do that and can on any app i thought this was a floating app like when you watch your videos

Thanks for the reply, I am not familiar with the note 2, as i said i modded this for the note 10.1
On the 10.1 only on JB 4.1.2 do all apps now work as a floating window, anything before 4.1.2 didn't work originally on the note.
As for UK only yes it is as stated, but you could try a vpn proxy based in the UK, not sure if that world work but it works in reverse for UK seeing US shows for example

Hiya,
Sorry. It's not something I've been able to do before. I'm on non rooted, stock Note 2 and have only had a small, finite number of apps available in the drawer with no option to add any. I couldn't see TVCatchup in there before, and after installing this it did show up so it was new for me. I understand what you mean about floating though- just like the stock video player right?
RE: MJ-12- Greetings! I'm sure we could! Starbucks, where I don't think we can pay by NFC still. In fairness, I've not had google wallet on this phone yet. I had it once on my Galaxy Nexus through a hack, with a prepaid google card, but never got to use it!
Hey guys, new to the board here. I been searching this topic, and have found similar issues but none with a fix. Here is the problem: When I open links to view amazon items that my brother has shared with me via text, it just opens the browser for viewing. Why can't it open it on the amazon mobile app like eBay? Zedge does the same thing. Is there a way to fix this ? its more of an annoyance then anything else, but i do wish i can get some help from you guys. My experience goes as far as rooting and installing roms, so hopefully this doesn't require nothing more then i can do. My brother gets the same problem with ebay, which i never had a problem with, ebay has always opened share links via the ebay app. any help is appreciated. my device is galaxy nexus cdma, with root access, and running aokp jb-mr1 milestone.

For example, I'm in Poland and I want to post a review for app, but I want to do this in english and I want my opinion has been seen by people in the US or UK. How to achieve that? I should login to google play by a US proxy or create a google account and mark that I'm from US?

Go to Google Play Developer Console.
Select an app.
On the left menu, select Ratings & Reviews > Ratings.
See how your app has performed by country, language, device, app version, or Android version. To change the time period or minimum number of ratings required to display a country, language, device, etc., select the drop-down arrows Drop-down arrow.
