Used root external 2 internal sd and now sd card is unreadable. - HTC Amaze 4G

So I managed to get my HTC Amaze 4g to recognize my 32 gb sd card as the phone storage using "root external 2 internal sd". However now the external sd (formerly my phone storage) is unreadable and inaccessable even with root explorer. It doesn't even show up in the settings. I don't wanna have to lose 10 gigs. Also is this process reversable? Can I go back to having my phone storage back to 10 gb and my 32gb sd card as external storage??? EEEP! Help please and thank you

ok Thankfully I restarted the phone and it's back to normal. Still I wonder why I can't access my phone storage as my sd card??

[Q] Dead Internal SD, mounting phone storage to External SD card

So, I bought a vibrant for 30dollars, so now I have two, should've known something was wrong with it. LOL
The Internal SD card is dead, it says Internal SD card broken, or wrong format.. SO i couldn't use the internal or external sd.
So I was messing around, altered the vold.fstab and vold.conf files to get the phone to use the external SD card as the Internal SD card, everything is good but I still have 0.00gb of phone storage so I am unable to install any applications.
Is there any way that I can change the phone storage to the External SD card?
app 2 sd should work .also did you try to format the internal sdcard

[Q] Android file system with SD vs no SD

I'm coming from a phone with very low internal memory to one with 16GB. My question is around all the app data and where it would go in a phone with 16gb internal memory and not SD card.
Reason I ask is I would love to have all my apps stored internally and use my SD card mostly for music/pics..
Would this work or will apps put data in the SD if one is present.
another question would be what would happen if I have no SD card for a while, then I introduce the SD card..
All the data would be kept on the internal storage, which would be seen as a internal memory stick. If you put a microSD card in then it will store some data on the SD card but you could move it back by going to settings>applications>manage applications>on sd card

[Q] please help me i have problem

i brought micro sd card for my phone it has phone memory 500 mb sd card 2 gb cant remove it and i buyed 16 gb so i want to install apps on my phone to new 16 gb card so i cant do it when i want to change preferred install location here is only 1st phone storage and 2nd 2gb card so what do to install apps on 16 gb card?
P.S i can delete write files on 16 gb card
Are you saying your phone has 2GB internal memory or a 2GB removable SD card? If it's a removable card, all you need to do is copy all the files to a folder on your computer, put the 16GB card in your phone, format it, then copy everything back from the comp to phone.
If the 2GB memory is internal (noted as 'SD card' by the system in some devices), then by default apps are installed here and not on the external SD card (removable card). There are ways to do it though, but they are phone specific and depend on whether a dev has made such a method work for your phone.

Phone displays 32gb extSD and internal SD

So I root and unlocked the bootloader of my Verizon note 2 then ran the script to swap internal SD (16) with my 32gb microsd card but after every reboot without running the script my internal and external storage both show 32gb more or less (I have some apps on internal). Is that normal? What's more odd it seems is that when I take out the sd card it still shows 32gb external storage. Any help ? Thanks !!

My internal sd card is inaccessible, and possibly encrypted?

upgraded to marshmallow and had both the internal sd and external sd as one (using it as storage)
This turned out to be a bad item and the external sd failed (possibly due to too many reads and rights)
I noticed my internal sd card stopped being able to install apps. On further inspection in Root Explorer external sd card is a folder, but 'sdcard' almost looks like an inaccessible link/normal everyday file. Pressing it in REplorer says that it's not mounted. Yet it is the internal sd card...I can also see how much space its components are taking up under 'storage' in Android OS.
My question is how do I fix this? Most apps get installed to internal sd. I have read on XDA that sometimes kitkat would make inaccessible/encrypt the internal sd card, how do I diagnose this is my problem ,and if I find out it is,how do I fix it?
