hello every one
i posted my issue in many places and i couldnt get the right help
i flashed ultimate rom v4z and its perfect except the notifiaction light it disappeared!!!
it works when the phone is off but when its working it doesnt work it lights for a milisecond without seeing it then disapear
i tried:: !) wiping cach and dalvik cache
2) disable light control
3) reanable it
but nothing works
please help me

(V9 clean installation step by step from OP with a last wipe data/factory reset)The rom is not smooth as I expected,however is smoother than ics!
Battery life is good like ics custom roms,no way to change slide lockscreen wallpaper ,except using xperia wallpapers.
Sometime ,for just a second, there are graphic glitches.Known camera recording bug ,no way to fix for me,tried some modes but doesn't change anything.
Finally i can say that is a good JB rom! I really apreciate your hard work and i think and i hope that you can improve this rom to lead a complete bugfree and optimized rom!notification led doesn't work...
after few days it becomes smoother

camera is not working?? what to do i hv again installed it but still same problem wid video recording..?

i'm on V8 (don't have time to upgrade to v9), with experimental kernel v6b (ondemand+sio, 400mhz-1ghz)
it's very smooth and fast!
the only problem is a few redraws of the launcher, after closing heavy apps. however it doesn't last long, i'm used to it.
also camera fc after recording, cideo is saved though (only one test, i don't use it a lot..)

I have ultimate rom v7 installed. Any idea why I can't install new fonts or change boot animation? I can't even modify the system folder :/

is it safe to use another camera mod, like cybershot?
any suggestions/links?
(my main problem is that camera does not get activated on vine, so all i get is a black screen)

for your launcher redraw problem i have the fix.
download the service.jar file from the link and copy it to /system/framework and set permissions to 644 and you will never face redraw....

you can change your bootanimation by deleting the bootanimation.zip from /system/media and copy your zip there and set permissions to 755 and reboot....!!

Hello, I have three issues with this ROM and one is major and other two are visual.
I have Phantom kernel and ultimate rom v9.
1) I can't uninstall any system apps. I tried with ROM Customizer, it says "Failed!" everytime. I even tried deleting them with a script in CWM but I couldn't. Why is this?
2) My LED doesn't light up when I get an SMS. How can I fix this? (It works with some other apps, for ex. my alarm clock)
3) Messaging font seems too big for me, how can I adjust this?

@Ashwin Prabhunerurkar (or anyone else) can you confirm that i can update the experimental kernel to v7.1 ?
it says "Updated kernel to 6.2.A.1.100 "
so would that be a problem for your rom ?

exactly.. anything's that related to system can't be modified,. I can't even make a nandroid backup for cryin out loud

For crying out loud make sure u follow the instructions properly and use experimental kernel
And on top of that make sure u update the binary of super user
Then u won't face any problem

1)use experimental kernel and update sure binary for system access and cwm 2)do a clean install with experimental kernel as led is workinga for all of us
3)reduce font in display
