[Q] Phones with HDMI out & USB OTG?

Hi XDA,
Does anyone know of any phone(s) that have both:
-HDMI out (preferably micro HDMI port and not MHL)
-USB OTG/Host capability
The reason I ask is because I would like to use a wired 360 controller with the OnLive gaming app while outputting to an HDTV.
Thanks.
Hi,
did you look on Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro?
I have it and it surely has HDMI port - probably the micro HDMI as I got a cable with normal HDMI on one side and some mini connector on the other one.
According to some sources it should also have usb host, but I have it only few days and did not have time to test it yet.

[Q] Sony Xperia Tablet S Hdmi Cec ?

Hello could somebody please test if the xperia tablet suports hdmi cec an wich resolution to get on the tv ?
thanks
yes by resolution 720p not more
Thx for your answer , 720 p not more thats a mess the last xperia smartphones supports 1080p
So playback on TV via HDMI is super but unfortunately it is not higher than 720p and 1080p I would prefer - perhaps with an update to JB wait times possible. Dual screen is also possible to not You can also stream pictures to your TV then it is also possible to 1080p via an adapter cable but not But the USB host and HDMI cables are currently Lowered price ... What is the bad one, the USB host cable to HDMI Adapteranschließen is not supported ... but it is only possible through the HDMI in addition to connect the charging cable so you do not run out of juice
What are you using to get HDMI out on the Tablet S? I've read several threads that say that the Tablet S does not support MHL adapters for HDMI out.

The discussion is about the Xperia Tablet S, which is capable of HDMI output, not the Sony Tablet S, which is not.

So it is... Sony Tablet S, Sony Xperia Tablet S... (not to mention the Sony Xperia S phone) not confusing to the consumer at all... Thanks, Sony!

[Q] MHL Cable

Hi,
I understand that the Sony Xperia Z2 Tablet is one of the first to have MHL 3.0 (Along with the Z2 Phone) however is there any adapter out at the moment to put this onto to your TV yet?
Is this something that a universal adapter will sort? Is it something I need to wait for Sony to release?
Cheers.

For me, the Samsung MHL does Not Work physically. A third party Adapter From HAMA does Not Work on the Sony, but on the SGS4
I'm Waiting for the Sony MHL to become available now...
I bought this one and it works with my z2 tablet: http://www.futureshop.ca/en-CA/prod...o-mhl-adapter-rf-g1171-rf-g1171/10214468.aspx

So, seeing I get my Z2 tomorrow, also ask if anybody has tried the MHL to HDMI adapters. Seems a limited choice here where I live, so asking for some additional input.
Seems I can get the official Sony IM750 MHL Adapter, however it doesn't mention the Tablet compatibility, only phones.
I bought a cheap mhl v1 cable that works fine. It just crops the bottom of the screen off on the TV http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/281294982152
It has to have a micro usb to power it, but most tvs or dvd players have a spare usb port to power the adapter.

Thanks for the link. I suppose it would come down to whether the TV USB would transmit power via USB, but in the worst case, one could carry a USB charger (seeings I have several of those laying around )
All usb ports supply 5v at 0.3amps min as long as the TV etc is on. Even if it's a diagnostic only usb port it's still enough current.

Video Out?

Best way to put xperia z2 Tablet screen on the TV?
Will this MHL to HDMI Adapter work?
