[Q] Lock Screen on newly installed Hyperdrive RLS4 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

I just installed Hyperdrive RLS4 rom last night. I have one issue I have noticed so far is that on my lock screen where the clock is supposed to be I have favorite settings (wallpaper, ringtones, and volume) showing up. Yes, I followed the install instructions with wiping everything I needed to and rebooting before/after the install. Please help because this is irritating...
One more thing as well, I don't know if this has something to do with that but my phone will randomly do that funky verizon call ringtone without my phone lighting up or number showing up. **One note after the install I did use Titanium Backup to restore my apps/user settings.**
Thanks

Go into the lockscreen settings. There is an option to go back to the clock.

I went to Settings--> My Device--> Lock Screen -->Lock Screen Widgets, under general settings Favorite Apps or Camera is grayed out.

I am on RLS2 but if you enabled the option of multiple widgets, then the favorite apps or camera option will be available. Try it.

where is the multiple widgets option?

Lock Screen App choices

Ok so on the lockscreen I had it set to phone, Gmail, Messages and Settings. After applying a different skin after the phone icon on the lock screen is missing and I had to add a different app to launch from the lock screen. There is no option to choose phone again and I don't want to have to hard reset to do this over again.
Any ideas?

Really? Use search....this was an issue at launch, If you do the OTA updates it will fix it and add it back in the list of apps to select

[Q] Lock Screen settings crash

I have installed SlickJB 3 ROM on the phone and trying to removed the default lock screen but every time I select it the settings app crashes and closes out. I have tried reinstalling and rebooting phone and it still keeps happening. I searched the threads and could find no solution to the problem I am having. Perhaps I missed one but not sure. Any ideas would be appreciated.
SLICK has a custom lockscreen found in the app drawer called Holo locker. The lockscreen settings though the settings app won't work. You can however manually copy over the LG stock lockscreen and lockscreen settings apk by downloading it from the Slick OP.

Thanks, that does help. I will look into it.

[Q] What lockscreen widget is this?

Rooted running various ROMs and this keeps popping up. I have my "home" lockscreen set to cLock. As soon as I get any type of notification, lock the phone then go to unlock it this one appears to the right of the home lockscreen. Wouldn't be so annoying, except for the fact that it shows up as if it were the home lockscreen and I have to swipe to the left to get to the real home lockscreen.
I've noticed this on Hyperdrive and BoneStock, so I know it's not a ROM issue. If I restart, it goes back to normal up until I get another notification. I can't edit or remove it. Driving me nuts...

If you expand the widget screen by swiping down on your widget, that's the "minimized" unlock challenge. With your cLock widget on screen, try swiping down on it, and you'll see the same thing at the bottom. If you swipe back up from it, the widget is back to normal, non-expanded size, and the challenge ring will come back to normal.
...at least that's what I'm seeing.

That doesn't look like cLock.

I should have clarified. That widget looks the same wether minimized or expanded. I know what you're saying though, the cLock widget just shows me time and weather and when I expand it I get my calendar. Whatever this widget is it shows nothing but the time and date regardless of expanded or minimized. It shouldn't bug me this badly, but it's seriously driving me crazy. I get my lockscreen setup with a cool widget and as soon as I get a text or email I get this tiny little thing that doesn't show anything useful.

Pretty sure that is the KeyguardWidget that would normally show if you had a new message or missed call or something. I would delete it and it will default to the default clock widget.

This can be achieved on a TW ROM by going to settings, lockscreen, widgets, clock size and choose small.

Nice, thanks
Just a quick update in case someone else is searching for a fix. Adjusting the lock screen widgets from settings did not work for me (on JellyBeans B6). Renaming KeyguardWidget.apk to KeyguardWidget.apk.old in /system/apps did work though. Thanks again for everyone's help!

[Q] Help with my galaxy s4's lockscreen notification.

So, a little while ago I had to reinstall the stock texting application and odex file on my s4. In doing so, I can send texts again like new but for some reason it's not displaying the notification for a message on the lockscreen.. (rectangle that says "New Message" that you click that takes you to the thread) I'm not sure why it's doing it. I have the notifications enabled and hangouts disabled. (turned off) The screen still lights up with a new text and vibrates and even has the status bar notification, just not lockscreen. If anyone can help me, that'd be awesome. Also, can we keep the bias 3rd party messaging opinions out? Thanks so much in advance!
What ROM are you running? Are you using a custom clock widget (like Dashclock, cLock, etc.) or do you have the stock Samsung clock?

Stock ROM, my friend. Everything is stock except for root.

When I do that it just displays the message in my status bar.
Do you have a pattern lock?

Thats strange. try clearing data on messaging and then re-check preview message in messaging settings.
Yeah, I tried that.
So here's what I did to fix my issue,
1: I was running the build.prop hack for the s5 status bar. I returned to stock build.prop and did a battery grab reboot.
2: Not that it's relevant, but I cleared all data for Google play services.
3: *Important* I cleared my cache then all data for the Messaging app in settings. Reboot and reopen the app and it worked good as new. I hope this can help someone with the same issue.

Remove clock from lockscreen

Hi all, I'd like to know if there is some adb setting or app or mod that will let me remove the clock from the lock screen, preferably without rooting. (Samsung S10)

thx work great.
Clock still there?
I removed everything but the notifications, but when I lock my Galaxy S10 phone, the clock is still there. What am I missing?
(And the forum won't allow me to add a screenshot from my phone)

Hey, try going to settings, display, screen saver and setting it to 'none'.
I think I might have had this confusion when setting up my s10
Tried that already.

What you are talking about is the always on display. Which you can turn off from settings- lockscreen-always on display

If you are talking about clock on lockscreen not AOD just choose one of the clock and change colour to black one - last option of circle.
