Recommandation for good Rom with Webtop\HDMI and good Battery - Motorola Droid RAZR

i know , i know
the best is to test it by myself and look.
But i am tired of looking and testing ROM's and it seems that a lot of them does not have the Webtop for my mdeia stations (AOKP | CyanogenMod...).
I am happy when i get your recommandations which i could test.

All stock JB (4.1.2) based ROMs will have the two features working.
Don't go for any 4.2.2 ROM.

Yes,I agree...The Stock ROMS provide better battery life and Way better stability than 4.2.2 roms...
These roms are more stable and will help you when you're on the GO...
4.2.2 roms are good no doubt in that but they take time to settle in and eventually all of them LAG with 1000Mhz(1GHZ- underclocking) freq and drain battery terribly with default 1200mhz(1.2GHZ) frequency!

i tested several Rom, also 4.2.2 Roms (Carbon, Pacman, Liquid Smooth, without the needed features . They are nice and hopefully the HDMI support will come later..
But regarding 4.1.2 Roms i have not found a good one where the battery drain is not better than "normal". ARTMOD, Blueandroid..
Some recommandaitions regarding good stock JB based Roms ?!?

I have tried almost every ROM out there for many days and tried and tested them...
Not that 4.2.2. roms are bad or anything but
I get a Battery backup of 23hrs straighton jb 4.1.2 ROM called as DSEA/DSEA LE/WDSEA
You should try them...You'll know the difference!

Try this one. Use the blur version. I feel this is the most balanced ROM with battery and performance.

Not mentioned anywhere so I assumed its XT912. My bad.
CDMA ROMs can also be used on XT910 though(with a gsm patch).

I will give Aviator and DSEA/DSEA LE/WDSEA (i think i already tested this , but we will see) a try, thanks for the hints !:good:
With the Chinese Firmware the turkish guy wrote :
"My experiences with this device for 19 months since 11-2011, i can say xt910 is reborn like a beast with CHINA firmware. It has become that phone i always imagined before i bought it. Device acts much better, it gets better network and data connection compared to stock EMEA 4.1.2 firmware as well as better WIFI connection. There're also many advantages of CHINA 4.1.2 firmware compared to Stock EMEA or LATAM, Verizon 4.1.2 builds like 9.3gb internal memory, call recording, better battery consumption, 3D and media performance. I tried nearly all of the roms for xt910 and decided to settle with this rom, that's why i am posting this for all of you."
but i am a little bit careful and will wait what experiences the others have.. I will keep this in mind, thanks also for this hint..:fingers-crossed:
yes, i have an XT910 , i will see if Aviator will work it...

okay guys,
Aviator Rom is not running on my XT910 (also with the kernel pathes) ;(
Artmod ROM is the replacement from DSEA/DSEA LE/WDSEA , I flashed it again with undervolt, but battery drain is not really better and my webtop cursor is a big big jelly bean ;(
Any other recommandations regarding good battery drain with webtop functionallity ROMS?

You may have a China Retail 404 or a 384.

Best AOSP/AOKP Based Rom ?

hi guys, which AOKP/AOSP based builds best for Our S3 ? (I mean Stable and good battery life ? )
Cm9 is stable now, but jelly bean roms are pretty good too, cm10, supernexus...etc.
Well, why not you try all of them and lets us know
No rom is the best. Just keep flashing until you found your best rom.
Sent from my GT-I9300 using xda app-developers app
The Jellybean roms aren't 100% stable yet. They are good enough for daily use but expect the of bug. Both cm9 and aokp are very reliable though, and battery life is very good although battery life is also very good on the stock Samsung Rom so don't expect any big improvement.
I've tried them all and am sticking with cm9 until cm10 gets the last few bugs resolved but you really should try some different flavors yourself and see what you like.

Various firmwares for jelly bean are around at the moment and i was wonder which is the best to flash to my unbranded, international s3, via mobile odin without any bugs ect. and best battery life. I was looking at the websites sammobile, com and also samsung-updates,com, which both appear to have my firmware. Any feedback is appreciated Thanks
The UK unbranded JB would be the best bet bud, XXDLJ4

There's a few custom ROMs that have bloatware remove mate. I'm currently running MS Team HD and for me it's awesome with all the customizations it has. I've tried a couple CM10 ROMs and it's really good but sticking with touch wiz for awhile check out the development thread and happy flashing!

I need help finding a good kernel for my TB for the battery life

Please help or give me links please
Sent from my Thunderbolt using xda app-developers app
There are quite a few different kernels and which one you should use will depend on a few factors.
The most important factors being:
What version of Android are you running?
Is it AOSP or Sense?
(ie: what rom are you using?)
I'm using liquid ics android version 4.0.4 just downloaded the from maybe 4-3 he's ago

There are no real ics kernels. Twisted has been messing with some of IMO lean kernels but people has been having issues with them.

If you want good battery life you'll have to go back to Gingerbread. ICS ROMs have poor battery life compared to earlier ROMs because they all use the kernel from the leak and there's no other kernel available for the T'Bolt.
The non-sense ICS ROMs *should* have better battery life but in my own experience they don't.
As always, YMMV.

The ICS leak did not have the kernel from what I'm told making it unavailable to update. Including overclock. But, if you know anything about what these OS updates do you would know that ICS was the most important update allowing the cpu and gpu to work simultaneously. So if you do upgrade to ICS, the ability to under volt is slim since the whole reason you need that extra power is to benefit from using them at the same time other than just for games. Anyhow, even if ics does come out in ota it's going to be a battery destroyer.

Suggest a ROM

Howdy. I'm looking to replace stock Jelly Bean on my rooted RAZR xt912 with a custom ROM that works.
Issues I'm looking to fix with this move:
Ability to run pdanet so I can wifi tether without eating up my limited data plan.
Ear speaker stops working after some time; I have to use a headset or speakerphone to hear the caller.
Battery life is abysmal.
System runs slow, even after recent factory reset.
I need a ROM that's stable and has everything working (camera Bluetooth, wifi, calling, google services, etc...) Because this is my only phone right now and I'm on the road away from home.
Any suggestions, ideas, or pointers would be great!

Your best bet would be stick based custom ROMs. U can try Rage ROM, dwiz1.0 , jelly wiz or any other stock based ROM that works with your kernel

Alright, I may do that. I've been digging around here looking for a section or area where ROM's are posted, but I don't seem to be finding it.
Is there a section or area set aside for ROM's, perhaps sorted by device?

Here are the roms for Droid RAZR here on XDA: http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1363 There are also some on droid-hive: http://droid-hive.com/index.php?/forum/455-roms/ and droidrzr: http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/forum/156-droid-razr-roms/ If you're looking for customization and features, go for an AOSP-based rom like cyanogenmod or aokp. If you don't care so much about features but want more stability, go for a stock/moto-based ROM.
I'm using LiquidSmooth. It's Android 4.2.2 and I use it as my daily driver. Only problems I have are random freezes and reboots, but the benefits if this ROM way outweigh that problem.
Sent from my DROID RAZR Maxx using XDA Premium
Liquidsmooth and carbon rom are very good roms my recommendation is liquidsmooth cuz its stable and abt random freezes u have to disable lockscreen by setting it to none....
I have been a cyanogenmod fan since my old Droid X. When I went with my Razr MAXX I was disappointed that it wasn't available, so I settled with Arctic for a good long while. I really liked the ROM, however as soon as Cyanogenmod was available I jumped on board ASAP. The only thing they don't have working is the HDMI output, but I don't use that feature anyways, so who cares.
Anyhow,,,,,,,,,,,, the instructions are VERY easy to follow and I have very little trouble with it. It's not what they call a stable release, but then in my opinion it's still way more stable than many others I've tried!

guys, the man said that he needs EVERYTHING to work!
do not mislead him with kexec who still has issues!!!
see this:
http://www.droidrzr.com/index.php/forum/156-droid-razr-roms/
I recommend BW v2, aviator with stock kernel and Eclipse
the last one is the best from my point of view, only think is it needs verizon christmas leak kernel
if you can flash this kernel, try eclipse
PACman is pretty good.

Completely agree with you there, Eclipse is probably my favorite Razr Jellybean rom! Great performance, great battery life and just the right amount of visual adjustments!

Most "Wanted" RAZR x-mas present.

1: I was hoping for our bootloaders to be unlock. If not then 2: a fully working Kexec 3: or a fully working Aokp rom 4.1.2 /4.2.2/4.whatever.
What did you guys wish for? Btw Merry Christmas.

Well kexec is fully working! Also the aokp rom seems to be not as updated very fast. I wish for our phones cyanogenmod to be fully working cm11 it is very good just some minor stuff needs work. That is all for me.

Why what is the deal with you and other people here saying they are so bad when you are not even saying anything about the bugs!!! And i never see you post in the dev form and say what the bugs are there ether. You guys make this depressing just go get a new phone and leave the grumbling alone ! I hope you realize that this is supposed to help people not bring them down. It just say to new people not to do anything like this!!!
I have to agree with you you Caleb!! My OG Razr Maxx XT912 is three years old, rooted out of the box, custom roms from day one!! What a thrill to be able to bring new life to the phone!! My forehead at the feet of each and every dev whose countless hours of work, allow me to have such fun with device!! I love testing each rom, boot animation, custom kernels, recoveries, just expands my knowledge of the future!! Proud to be running CM11 12/27, JBX 12/09, SS 3.65, WIFIAP patch, on stock side!! As is common in all non-stock based roms, no HDMI, big deal, rather love what the device can do, not something I rarely use!!
