[Help] System is copyrighted? - Sony Xperia P, U, Sola, Go

Hey,
I can't copy things from my Ext SD to my internal. Root explorer says the system is copyrighted but i rooted my phone?
Xperia SOla stock rom Rooted .54 ?
I already tried to it again with SU but it doesn't work neither... :crying:

Open superuser and update the binaries if it asks.
How did you root? I assume after you did superuser did appear in the app drawer?

Okay, it doesn't ask for anything when I'm opening it. I try to re-install it...
I rooted with B4nary's Root with Restore. Before a half year it worked fine with that but then I had to reflash everything
EDIT: Okay, now SuperUser doesn't ask for anything....

Get es file explorer from the play store
Press menu. Tools. Root explorer. Grant root then mount r/w

Do i have to make /system from RO to RW or what ?

[Q] How do you remove boot audio?

I recently installed Charmeleon Rom v5.0.0 and I want to get rid of the android_audio.mp3 (boot animation audio).
When I try to delete the file with Root Explorer it says Failed to delete. When I try to delete the file with Terminal Emulator it gives me a access denied error.
I've been trying to find the answer through google for over an hour. It sounds like some Root Explorers you need to Mount R/W to have access to delete/rename files. This sounds like what I need but so far I can't find any Root Explorer apps that mention R/W.
Any ideas?

Did you remount the filesystem to r/w in root explorer before deleting the file?

Thats my issue. I dont know how to mount the /system to be rw.
I guess I'm on the right track but mount /system rw didn't seem to be the correct syntax.
check in tweaks
I used free ver of Rom tool box .there's a one called root browser in that ..

I was able to delete the file with Root Browser within Rom Toolbox Lite.
I think it's odd that the Root Browser included with Rom Toolbox Lite includes extra options that you don't have when you just download Root Browser by itself. Using the version included in Rom Toolbox Lite I updated the folder permissions to include write access then I was able to delete the file.
Thanks!

First, mount /system in CWM. Then reboot you phone and open a root file manager. Go to system/bin and there will be a file called su. Delete it...

You would have to use ADB commands to mount the /system and push the files over, then change permissions and reboot. Often times, this is much easier just using a file manager app on the phone with SuperUser / root permissions like Root Explorer or ES File Manager, or if there is a custom recovery, then you can use that to install files to the /system easier.

Can't Write system files in HUAWEI Honor C3

Hi!
First of all, I have tried to update my Honor C3 system updates. Then I noticed that I have completely lost root access. They removed su binary. LOL.
Then I tried to root again my Honor C3 with VROOT and it is OK again. But I can't overwrite system files such as changing system DroidSans-fallback.ttf fonts and also installing framework of Xposed (Overwriting app_process). I can't even delete system files also.
I searched for firmware files for my phone and I can't seems to find it. There is root access and I even test it via Terminal Emulator app and from ADB. Calling su binary in Shell was OK but I can't access /system well. Help me.

It's probably either because you need to update the SuperUser binary (go into your SU app and it should prompt you if you do - or switch to SuperSU if you are using SuperUser) and / or you need to use a file explorer (or adb) and mount the system as RW.

[Q] Rooted EE Kestrel - cannot uninstall sys apps.

I used towelroot to root my newly purchased EE Lestrel (build B114) and it went perfectly. Then I used Root Verifier and it said that my phone is rooted.
I installed Root Uninstaller, to remove some bloatware (twitter, deezer), but it says that the app can not be uninstalled because an unknown error occured. Also, I cannot convert them to User Apps, but I can freeze them.
I need them uninstalled. Any suggestion?
Please help me with this.
Thank you
UPDATE
"Normal" system apps can be uninstalled, but the problem is with the apps placed there by EE provider. They seem to be in a different place and cannot be removed.
Using Anttek I found them in /cust/orange/ee , but I have no idea how to get rid of this ones.

Install busybox and super su then from root file manager like root explorer you can remove any of system applications from system/app and system/priv-app folder
Remember to take backup of deleted applications in your SD card in case if you need it

Thanks. Indeed, using a different file manager did the job. I could not do it with Root Explorer (fake successful message), but I did it with ES File Explorer.
