I don't know, I'm still in .54 firmware, still no notice to upgrade.
Why the hell you post it in dev section if there's no download link rom? "Fire"ware? :cyclops: it's firmware.

Hi, im new here, i have xperia u with. 564 installed. Its portugal branded ( TMN). Sony program dont detect any new updates. Can i install this version of firmware? And how to do it?

You can use this version. Just use flashtool.

Change log. Nothing more. Just network drop issue resolved fully
Regarding root you still have to unlock Bootloader. Btw. Even unlock Bootloader phones can update via sus or pcc I just did it just relock it and you are good to go

It's possible to root this, just make sure to have the .564 FTF handy (available on the unlocking thread).

You should find the kernel.sin inside the ftf file if you open it as zip file in wirar/winzip

Yup, and if he wants to convert it to .img he can use SIN2IMG (Included in the Xperia ROM Manager).

The ota update might not be available in your region...wait for it..or you can just flash the ftf
