i have 500GB trancend 25M3 Harddisk. i won't able to connect it to the a116 .please help....how to connect it using OTG????
Whats the system type of your hard disk ?

No it wont work as the kernel doesnt support fat system and micromax hasn't provided kernel sources.

installed pargon NTFS and HFS but uses superuser access the worst thing is that it reboots my phone everytime when i connect hard drive through otg.so finally removed it.....................
is it working

don't know..already asked that question in this thread..
Dont waste you time with.. amount of energy required to run a 500gb harddisk to too much for the cellphone.(Canvas HD).
It will not run unless you have connected some external power source in the hardisk. and yes format is also important it only works for FAT

Do anyone know how to use link2sd on micromax a25 I tried all the steps properly but while partioning my sd card og 16gb was not formatted......I tried link2sd but it says the app is linked but of no use it take same thephone memory as it was....

You may try SDincrease or A2sd Darktremor, may be they'll perform better.

As the question says, I was able to access a pen drive of 32gb and my canvas a110 with 32gb card, but wasn't able to access an external drive of 512gb. Can anyone tell me? Thanks in advance.

The hard drive is in ntfs format which is not supported

Format your hard drive to fat32 or download a app from playsore to mount ntfs.
First, do as said above..format ur pendrive to fat32 format

I have tried using below two versions-
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1248.0.96
SP_Flash_Tool_v3.1224.0.sn85
Can you please help me with link to download the latest version? Also do I need to root my phone before upgrading the OS?

Go to applications and clear cache and data for mmxregistration.apk. If not solved try to factory reset.
If you interested in rooting your device, search xda for root method and then remove mmxregistration.apk via root explorer

Remove MicromaxRegist.apk from system/app if you are rooted. otherwise root first with framaroot , and then remove this apk
If i remove that apk will it cause any problem?
My 32gig sdcard shows damaged only in my android even after installing custom roms and stock rom...but when i used another sdcard it worked..and when i inserted my sdcard in card reader and connected it worked in my computer..what should i do please help...
Actually i was restoring my app through titanium backup in my newly flashed xperia z2 rom ...it suddenly hanged..and i removed my battery..to reboot..but...then since my sdcard was shown damaged by my android..
