About Carbon
CarbonRom is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.

Reboot into bootloader, flash the boot.img from the zip file (fastboot flash boot boot.img),
Reboot into recovery use WIPE DATA/DALVIK/CACHE/SYSTEM (DONT FORMAT DATA!) install the Carbonrom zip.
Install Google Apps. Then reboot your device.
If you have problems with your home button install the gapps package.

We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our goo.im page linked above. It's new, but expanding fast. Just like us!
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Ask a question on our IRC channel. Connect to #teamcarbon on irc.freenode.net or click here. You'll find several other Carbon fans and usually one or more devs as well. Please be polite.

- 09/09/2013 - Update to 4.3, only for brave testers. No time to test properly myself and more testers mean more reports.

- 13/07/2013 - Fixed init files (stupid bug), I/O scheduler works, probably more bugs fixed try and let me know. Nightly fixes and updates Carbonrom check the changelog. Feels smoother too.
- 04/07/2013 - Market fixed with new build. Used the new nightly so all fixes made by Carbondev team should be in.
- 26/06/2013 - Nightly's. Privacy guard. Some new halo options. Used updated hoxcmofficial device tree.
- 24/06/2013 - Implemented STK Fixes. Some nightly fixes by Carbonteam. See the changelog in the carbon section in your settingsmenu.
- 23/06/2013 - New zip with working kernel. (thanks Lloir for your Device Tree, worked like a charm. My repo somehow got screwed so kernel didn't work.)

As I see this has ribbons and appwindow, right, cause the appwindow coding doesen't play good with the xposed framework and I really can't live without xprivacy and a few other mods. or did they make them work together?
EDIT: Also can someone test if installing the xposed framework makes the startup of systemui take a lot, cause I really don't want to have to restore all my 600+ apps using titanium after flashing the rom and seeing it does?
EDIT2: Ended up testing it anyway and no problem, so I can say I am happy to see this and great rom.

just wanted to test it flashing it over the last official blade-kernel after a factory reset. but then i got nfc- and phone-fc's, so i cant start. so my question is: is the boot.img in the zip another than the last blade-kernel?

You have to use the boot.img from the rom.
Blade 42 gives errors.

because of the difference in ramdisks....use the one that's in CM10.1 with the latest blade source

Or the one in the rom, it's based on the Blade kernel it uses the same device tree.

Just as a note about the diff between CM10.1 and AOSP ramdisks
The problem is only the dalvik that CM10.1 uses
so as soon as the rom uses the CM10.1 dalvik you MUST
use a CM10.1 ramdisk.
