Hey folks,
My friend is selling her i9300 to me and I want to make the deal as fair as possible.
Some things to keep in mind:
- The phone is 1 year old, used.
- There's a small crack on the glass in the right upper corner. Not affecting the display at all.
- The battery has it's up and downs. She had some problems with it draining like crazy for no reason.
- She's also had problems with it not charging. She'd charge it for the entire night (at 5%) and it's at 40% when she unplugged it in the morning.
However, the last two problems mentioned have not occurred for some time now.
No guarantee if it will re-occur.
Would 200euro be a reasonable price? There's still 1 year Samsung warranty on it.
Im planning on getting the Zerolemon 2300mAh battery pack as well. That would cost me around 25eu to replace the stock battery.
So, what do you guys think?

200 euro seems like a fair price.
@Theshawty,
Thank you for your response.

I agree.
The small crack is purely cosmetic, maybe you'd even be able to cover it with a case.
The battery is replaceable so no problem there.
The phone is under warranty for 1 more year.
I think it's a very good deal for you.
Okay! Thanks for your responses. I made the deal and I feel very content about it.
Oh and sorry for posting this in the wrong section. My bad!
Go with a new stock battery much better in quality than the zero lemon.
Sent from my GT-N7100 using xda premium
Go for the Anker 2200mah because you can get the NFC version for about €10 and actually does have higher capacity than original, and after 5 months it's holding more capacity than the first 5 months using original battery so has good quality cells and no noticeable overheating problems.

Hello Folks,
some days ago, I bought from Ebay a new battery to my mother's iPhone, I bought a battery with 2430 mAh, I had searched for one like that to Lumia 800, I have a WP7, LG E900 with a battery like that and I can use it for three days without change the battery, any one here can say here a find a battery like that to Lumia 800?
Thanks!!!
dont use batteries that arent made only for your phone or produced from nokia in your case.
If its a fake 1)the battery life will go down very fast 2)you will for sure have a problem when charging your phone with extreme temps and lastly there is even a chance with chinese or fake batteries that they will explode(not like a bomb but still will ruin your phone) if exposed in high temps(sun etc)
All replacement batteries arent that bad. Before buying read the reviews in amazon etc. For example I had an "extended" battery on my Samsung galaxy s and I never had any problems with it, and it really improved the battery life. Though I remember news about exploding phones when using these replacement batteries. Yes, of course there is a risk, and it is a risk that you should think about. In my opinion your Lumia 800 is too expensive to gamble
i thought you couldnt replace batteries for this phone?!? isnt it like the iphone, ie built in (cant get it out)

It can be replaced but you need to take the phone apart. It is not very difficult though.

If your not using your screen much which clearly your not then it is going to be something other than screen at the top, learn how percentages work.

Actually it IS a known issue and there are a few threads on it already.
How is this an issue? Like Lennyuk said, if you don't use your phone that much, then obviously standby would be the nr. 1. power drain.
Actually, both arguments could be correct...
Unless the stock software is extremely efficient, and makes the screen somehow super efficient, then it would be normal for standby to be that high. Another point to note, is are you complaining about battery life? or just the fact that a number on some statistics is high and you don't like it?
The counter argument to that is, if you look at mine on CM9, cell standby is a lot lower. Make of that what you want.

Hello everyone I hope you all are having a wonderful day.
The Xperia Z Ultra is very cheap in my area right now, $350, and am now wondering if I should replace my Galaxy S4 with this device.
For those of you who have had this device for a while, do you guys think that it would be a worthwhile upgrade?
I also have a Nexus 7, so I sort of understand how this phone would feel in my hands.
Also is the battery life and camera as bad as people say it is?
Thank you for reading and I can't wait to hear your replies.
I would definitely do it. It's not as big as the Nexus 7, but it's still pretty big for a phone. You do get used to the size pretty quickly though. The camera is not directly good, but it's not incredibly bad either. It performs OK in daylight. You can go through the Photos thread and see for yourself. The one posted here was taken a couple of weeks ago by me.
The battery is actually very good. You can check out the Battery thread yourself, but you can expect to get around 5-8 hours of screen time depending on usage.

The camera is ok in really bright locations, if it's anything other than sunny, it's terrible. I just moved from a nexus 5 to this phone, GPe, not sure I'm going to keep using as my main phone.
battery life is great, considering it has such a huge screen
camera is not as great as others. this is a tablet-like phone, not a phone focusing on camera.
if you want a good camera, look elsewhere.
Just learn how to use the camera and it's not too bad in lower light
Battery life isn't bad.. Actually pretty good especially when brand new. Close to two days when new but after many hours of heavy online gaming the battery life has dropped on mine. Still get about a day though.
I recently ordered a Z Ultra online, and now it's on its way!
Can't wait! Thanks for all the reply's! :highfive:

6P complete teardown. http://www.witrigs.com/blog/huawei-nexus-6p-teardown/
That is awesome, was this a difficult process? Just curious as I hate the idea of a non removable battery and would like to hope I could tear it down and replace it myself if needed.
:Funny thing...
This is what 75 percent of owners have said has happened to their phone, after a 3 inch drop onto a goose-down pillow
This phone looks good even when torn down!

Was thinking the same thing
You've got bigger cajones than me. This sort of stuff is far too fiddly for my liking
If it ain´t broke, don´t fix it Take good care and use a protective case and your phone will be good for at least 2 years ( until you get to choose a new device from your mobile provider ).
I have to say the battery is fiercely glued in. If you want to see how to change the battery, you can come to Witrigs.com/blog to see the process. Hope it does help.

Is there any information regarding the headphone jack audio amplifier chip?
The most intimidating thing about taking this apart is the glass over the camera area. Sure, I might get it out but not breaking it in the process is going to be tough much less getting it back without the glue looking like crap.

That's the beauty of the N6p. No provider needed.....you can buy a new one whenever you want!
Hi all,
I'm about to purchase this beautiful phone, but as I'm not planning on any heavy mobile gaming ( believe it or not, I just like Asus, ROG, the audio setup and the form factor), I'm very interested in knowing how the battery life is with regular use.
No official review goes too much in depth on this matter.
How is the standby time, SOT, using it as a regular smartphone (mail, social, youtube, camera etc)?
Thanks a lot for your input!
This is the first phone I've ever owned where I get 2 full days. I lose 2 or 3% overnight. Overall, battery life is amazing.
You must have everything turned off. I am not even close to that on stand by ...
I came from a Pixel 2 XL. All my apps are the exact setting and the Pixel 2 XL has a smaller battery and it last longer the entire day then the ROG phone
With this phone I am having to find ways to get better life. pixel 2 XL didn't do any or that. On my pixel 2 XL I even have Always On and music ID turned on
ROG Phone owners will have to wait for custom kernels and maybe even custom ROMs because something is eating the 4000 mah battery of this phone like nothing. Many tests have proven a poor battery life, very poor considering the battery size.
Whatever it is ... It's in the system

Post the picture of the battery usage to zentalk forums too the staff there maybe can give the engineers something to go off of
Battery life is ok, Will last me about a day with normal usage and 8 with heavy ones. I got rid of FB and use metal instead. I use black theme in all The app offering it as well.
