Hello everyone. I currently own the Verizon Galaxy S4 (Model SCH-I545). I rooted it and currently have CM 10.1 installed. My exact CM version is 10.1-20130623-NIGHTLY-jfltevzw. What I want to be able to do is make my external 64gb Class 10 SD Card my primary storage location. I only have like 4.1 gb left on internal storage on this phone and I would like to utilize my 64gb sd card I bought for this. I looked at all the similar threads recommended before this post and they are for different phones/builds. I searched in the s4 general/q+a/cm 10.1 thread for verizon s4 and found nothing really specific. The closest thing I could find was this post, the post before it, and the post that follows it. People have mentioned on these forums and in that previous post I linked that there are hacks to do this. I would like to know from other S4 CM 10.1 users what they have found/are using to to do what I am trying to do. I appreciate your time and help. Thank you.

You might only use foldermount to link only /emulated/0/android/obb . I think if you move everything by using link2sd, it might slow down a little bit. I am not sure whether it is a good idea or not. Somebody who has more knowledge might answer it here.

Hey whats up everyone i was just curious to see if theres an actual rom available that that has that part of the new ota in it since verizon had to be a bunch of aholes and block the old root method i personally dont care if i update to the new firmware as long as i can just use the actual apps to sd without the link to sd way or folder mount option thanks for your time look forward to hearing from you guys
The apps2sd from the new firmware is a joke. It doesnt move data associated with the app just the apk itself. So youre not really saving much space. As for one that includes it I havent seen any. Once I find my sd card going to give rom toolbox a shot and see how it handles it.

well ok then so i guess link to sd is still the best and long as you make the ext partition through the pc program then set it up well then next question how about a rom running the new camera software?
or simply a camera.apk pulled from new update that can be flashed
sorry i have a bunch of question now can a script be written since we now have roms that support intd support so that we can flop the external memory for internal memory so avoid this lack of memory issue on this phone just like they did with the s3 and some on the tablets?

Hi guys im new here and uh i've been trying to look around on google and forums i still cant find the option to encrypt microsd on Cyanogenmod 10.1.3 Galaxy s3 i9300 unlocked international
Any help?
Try looking in storage settings. Also questions belong to q&a forum. This is general.
Hi guys,
after switching back from cyanogenmod to stock rom (via Kies) my 64GB phone claims to have only 16GB of internal memory. Obviously the internal sd-card was not partitioned properly. Unfortunately I neither found a proper pit file nor did I dump it in the first place. The only file I found (m3xx_i9305.pit) fails to repartition (without further explanation; but the phone still works).
Can someone who owns a 64GB S3 LTE dump a pit file for me? Probably as described on droidviews.com at how-to-extract-pit-file-from-samsung-galaxy-devices (can't post link)
Best regards and thanks in advance for any suggestion or action,
Christian
P.S. probably this would fit into "Galaxy S III I9305 (4G LTE + 2GB RAM) Android Development" but I can't post there

lolwut? What have you developed?
Why didn't you read the thread that says [READ THIS FIRST]? Should they make it flash for people to see it?
Hello! I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 T820 running on Android Oreo 8.0, and the internal memory isn't enough. I have a Sandisk 64 gb ultra micro sdcard and I want to use that memory for games and other apps. I have tried different techniques that I found online, but nothing works. ADB shell, installing adoptable memory with TWRP and I have no idea what to do next. Please help me!!
I am not rooted!
Thank you to anyone who can help me solve this!

I don't have this device but, the following area of the forum is specific to your device.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s3
With that guidance...
The following thread may be a bit dated but, is the best one that I can locate that should be helpful for what you are looking for that's specific to your device.

Hello, this is my first time posting on here.
I have an old Galaxy S3, USA version, T-mobile, SGH-T999. I was wondering how to update it to make it usable? From what I've read online the best way is to root and put in a custom ROM. The problem I'm having is finding the latest ROMs. Is there any way to find the latest official ROMs for the phone? And if I download an unofficial one, how can I know which will run well on my phone? Do I just simply get the latest unofficial ROM?
Lastly, if any one has any step by step guide or video on how to root and install ROMs it would be much appreciated as I've never done something like this before. Sorry if this has been posted before, I'm new to this site and have been having trouble navigating and searching old posts.
Thank you.

I suspect the reason that you haven't gotten any responses in the last day or so is that you are on the wrong part of the Forum! This is the area for the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 9.7" Tablet, not the Galaxy S3 Smartphone.
You might want to take a look over here for the T-Mobile S3.
Hope that helps clear things up
