Hy everybody,
I barely get my new desire x but the sense ui doesn't seems to be good for me, I fell in love with the stock android (as the google designed it) on my nexus 7. Is there any working one of jelly bean (4.1) for desire x? please help me, I searched a lot but not found anything, if i'm wrong and there is a stock jelly bean please link for me
Thanks for anybody,
zsoltmazlo
There is no such stock jelly bean for our phone ! Cyanogen mod which is like stock jelly bean is under development ! There is an alternative for sense ! Try nova launcher !

Stock android for our DX is avaliable, but a very buggy version. Install Nova launcher or Apex launcher, it's your best shot.

Yeah, you'll have to wait for CM 10.1, which will take a while...

Aaah, guys, you made me sad OK, not you but the fact that there is no stock JB for my little phone. Thanks for the advices, I'm already using Holo launcher HD for getting the holo feeling but it's not the same Stock android is simple, clean and very easy to use, I think that's why I want it on my phone.

If there any information out there when will CM 10.1 go out for this device?

No, not yet. The devs are working on it, but just don't ask for ETAs, as it is a difficult task without the right kernel sources.
OK, thanks for your help.

Alpha build of stock jelly bean is out ! Released today !
Sent from my HTC Desire X using xda app-developers app
Yeah I saw the announcement on G+, but the Desire X isn't in the supported devices list. But I hope that if the source code will roll out then there will be some candidates who will build it to DX too.

We just need to pe patient. I'm sure that someone will make an AOSP Stock Jelly Bean for Desire X. On Galaxy mini I waited to years for a vanilla android to appear. But it was worth the waiting

i know i know you guys will look at me and say things like "wtf you asking this for now!!"
The benchmarks post and test all roms page hasnt been updated since 12 days ago and before i say anythiong i tried all roms seriously no joke but havent tried the new updates for most ics roms since 3 weeks ago but im currently on gxg jelly bread and love the rom for playing games but still gingerbread is kinda boring and i see all mods and new stuff coming out is for ics
can any just tell me which is the best rom?
im thinking between superleggera, jellysandwhich, iced bean and flylight....
and again sorry for asking but i need just some advice

Nothing against the devs of ICS ROMs but ICS can never be as good as JB. Tried PACman and it's amazing. Btw I've tried every single ROM and I say this one's the best. But try all of them, it's worth it.

I've been using flylight for a while now and can strongly recommend it. As a base Rom it's clean and fast and it has coped with all the mods I've layered on top
The other approach is to choose something like jelly sandwich; with its aroma installer you have your choice of all the best mods out there.
As far as I can tell all of the 587 roms are pretty tight so it really is a choice between a stripped Rom like fly light or s fully featured one like jelly sandwich.
Don't discount CM either the ics build is excellent imo.

+1 for flylight. everything works lightning fast
also can try SuperleggeraV3 !
PAC alpha 11.2. Best for daily use. Lots of customization! Go for it
My favorites are JellySandwich and Aires repacked by 4pda.ru rom (gb).
Miui if you want customization... or flylight or jellyswandwich for performance!!!
Haven't checked out iced yet !!!

which version of PAC did you try?
i'm verry happy with PAC alpha 11 +1st patch.
verry responsive, fast (3200 antutu @ 806/134mhz) many many options and good battery life
(in alpha 10 battery life was bad, 11 is very good).
Hey guys I really appreciate for this advice thank you
I'm on jellysandwich now 6.2 and it still has bugs and I feel that its slow don't know why but whatever. I'm going to try superleggera now than flylight and than ill make my choice. Pac and fxp don't work since they are cm based don't why but both of them give me fc android.phone.process I believe its sim related because I can't get a single bar of reception. If I put it on airplane mod I don't get fc
Anyways thanx guys but please keep on replying on your favorite rom thanx

Try with a new fix, personally i didnt have problems with JellySandwich (except wifi obtaining ip problem in first versions)
Apsolutely smooth on 800Mhz, deep undervolted, Antutu benchmark 4295 (on 1,4 ghz)
6.2 is not yet polished, maybe you can try 5.0 (bug free)

What's wrong with PAC?! It's got everything PA and FXP have. It's like a hybrid of those + aokp.

Well for me I always get force close with android.phone.process when I put with sim card, and without sim card it works perfect. All rims work with my phone except for Roms that have cyangenmod

for me i like FXP CM 9.1 and MIUI ROM
since other ROM ROM just a stock ROM has been strip down and tweaked...
The AOKP on its own gave me really bad graphical errors, though PAC worked fine. BUT for MMS problems......
Tried a few of the other ICS roms.. Jelly, Opti, MIUI(liked the least), Pureness, HD......
I really like Opti and Jelly Sandwich6.2(not tried the newer one) For now I have settled on CM9.1

You Know porting takes 30 min if i wasnt busy i would Port Sense by htc C
Sent from my SK17i using xda app-developers app
Porting doesn't need much time, I've ported roms for only to use it private.
The only hard thing is how to port the kernel? Any idea how to port the htc desire c kernel to our xperia's. Because I don't have any Idea how to port kernels...
If you want to Port a stock rom from other manfactures, like HTC,You need to port kernels...

Hi all,
I am just wondering if this is possible? I really liked the app and have an apk for it but it would not install so i was wondering if there was maybe a clone of it that can install on 2.3.7 or if there is any way to get it to install?

Hmmmmmm , I don't think you can find or port that official album for 2.3.7 because ics apps are built with sdk 15 which isn't supported on gb rom.
You may can find similar apps like quickpic
Sorry

to be honest it is not as smooth as gingerbread but it is. everything works now and the performance is pretty good and devs are still working. As long as you dont need to play any ramhungry games it is enough.
I suggest either cm9.1 by scritch which is cleaner or feravolts oce cream sandwich rom which is more tweaked. Also there is some jelly bean, Dixperia 9 had sony theme and so sony album, too. also i felt that jb was a bit smoother than ics (probably because of project butter)

"chrome works on ics too"
Haha Chrome porting to GB not possible in 100 years
The reason on why the Chrome app is only on Ice Cream and Jelly Bean is because it requires hardware acceleration. Gingerbread does not support it. Here on XDA, your fellow members (considered developers or "devs"), port, or design their own improvements to be released and flashed. Therefore, requesting to port Chrome is incorrect, but to find ROM'S that do support it, would be your answer.
This isn't Chrome but its close to it. Look for the xScope Browser. If you look on the store you'll only find the Pro version which is 4.X+. The older v6.5 runs on GB and works well.
Hello there,
Can a custom ROM with Google's ICS or Jellybean version be available?
Though there are lot of mods available, though trying each of them didn't give me the complete feeling of Google version of my phone.
I like Touchwiz but the AOSP version is what I love the most.
