Is anyone interested in a ROM wiki of some sort with ROM Li ks to op and I an on uploading all ROM to my ftp and keeping them all up to date here if this is not something everyone wants let me know just thought maybe it would be nice to see everything organized with ways working Links as well. Unless my host goes down which in 3 years only once and was only a hour or so... Let me know

Please do not host other people's ROMs unless asked to by them. Some devs make money from adds when people go to download the ROMs and you would be taking away the little bit of income that they do get.

cool sounds like a weekend project for next weekend ... i do supply some mirrors for a few developers so i have afew uploaded but i don't plan on brodcasting links unless dev will support it i however would like to see what you guys would like from such as thread just orginized into aosp tw kernels radio and then do you think a breakdown of the developement or maybe just a link to the thread? asking for a few opionions on what you guys would like to see i should be able to get to it monday just got home from a moto cross event and am pretty pooped

The rom was hacked together from other sources (and the sources weren't posted before) and it contained pirated apps...so it figures why it got taken down.
that suck man...i was just running it, and i was thinking of going back to simply honey, just cause ICS passion wasn't as complete as i think a rom should be.....then support gets dropped because the mods take it down. ah well......back to gingerbread....but i have faith that since the source code for the nexus s has dropped, we'll all be tasting some 4.0.3 goodness in a few weeks.
Neo should have posted the source and he should have also not put a pirated app, but still wtf man. So what now, do we wait for rootzwiki thread to be up.

I noticed that ManelScout4Life seems to be posting nightlies of the Vanilla Rootbox 4.2.1 ROM under the "quincyatt" header on his goo.im section (although they don't appear when you "filter by compatible roms".
I downloaded it, but searched all over the interwebz and couldn't find a damn thing on it...and since I'm not a huge fan of blindly flashing ROM's, I wanted to see if anyone here has taken the plunge and tried to flash it? I know he did the voting thing the other day, but I have no idea how that turned out...so I'm not sure if he's just intentionally not posting it here, or if they're just test builds that aren't ready for full-on testing yet.
Either way - I have read some cool things about RootBox, so I'd love to give it a whirl if anyone else (Manel included?) could confirm that it's not gonna take us to Bricktown or anything. :laugh:

Who cares what team bamf thinks. They have Devs who steal phones from people and then don't release work for months and months on end. I say share everything they want kept secret!

My memory is a little fuzzy seeing as how this happened a while back, but there was and still is proof if the mods have not deleted everything. Just because you have had positive experiences with some of their devs does not mean they are all good or even that most of them are good upstanding devs. There is no reason for that type of attitude either, if you cannot act like an adult and discuss things without attacking others then you should just leave the thread.
Unless you know exactly what you are talking about and were there when it happened, the phone being pretty much stolen, you may want to take your own advice.

Joelz has taken phones from people donating only to not release ROMs, drop the phone support and then go to sell them for profit. He is a part of team bamf still yes?
How about you STFU since they have had the proof of him doing so and turned a blind eye. I haven't supported team BAMF since the thunderbolt and won't long as they keep Joelz.

Actually it sounds like a good idea. So just to make sure I understand u right, if I wanted to talk about my favorite sports team or even shower curtains I can start a topic of some sort or pose a question and whoever wants to respond to me can do so? It sounds somewhat familiar. I think the iPhone appstore had a similar app of some sort a while back but apple pulled it for some reason. I could be wrong on that but the premise does sound familiar. I'm gonna give it a shot. I'll post back my impressions if ur interested.

It's a tad lonely in there right now. Looks like ill literally have the very first post regardless of topic. But hey, if it ever catches on and becomes a household app, I can say I was the first person to ever start a discussion. I do like the idea though. One thing I did notice is that it lacks a miscellaneous category if u want to discuss something that's sorta out of the ordinary or 'out there'. What if I wanna talk about wheat bread crust or maybe the chupacabra?? Just a suggestion. Maybe u can add a miscellaneous category in a future update

I was wondering if anyone was interested in helping with my effort to get Vinchenzop (team venom developer; HTC DNA and Evo 4G LTE currently) an HTC One Max. He has verizon, and has a grandfathered unlimited account so he’d lose his unlimited if he used his upgrade, and he’s told me that it wouldn’t be financially responsible to put out full price for the device this close to the holidays.
I was/am one of his testers for the Evo 4g lte, so I can attest to the quality of work him, and his team, put into their ROMs. If you’re not familiar with Team Venom’s work, go check out any of the latest HTC devices and look for their ROMs. Here is a link to their ViperONE ROM.
If we can even get together enough money to get the price down to a ‘subsidized device’ price (about $200-250, so we’d have to generate ~$400), I think that would be awesome. I, personally will start the pledging off with $50 if more people are interested.
I just think that it is a shame that this device has been out for over a month globally (a week or so for US variants) and seems to have such a small (but talented) dev-pool. I asked him if he would be able to make a rom for other carries besides verizon, and he said with the right group of testers, that he could. So this could benefit more than just verizon and sprint users.
If anyone would be interested in joining my cause, please post here or PM me. Currently, Vinchenzop doens’t know I am doing this, but I will be PM’ing him in the event that people are willing to assist with this.

No problems bud. Water under the bridge. I'm at a funeral for my grandma this week but Dastin (with a tiny tiny bit of my help) are gonna try to get a kernel built in the team hydra device tree as soon as we both have time.

Just wanted to stop in and say thanks to those who have donated, it really helps around the holidays.
My progress for ViperMAX is coming along nicely. As I mentioned in the "concern over developer support" thread (Q&A forum), the rom will initially only support Verizon and (most likely) sprint, but I will do my best to build an international version as time permits (Christmas, work, family, etc).
I'd also like to personally thank [email protected] for making an attempt to assist in getting me this device. It's greatly appreciated.
excited at the prospect of a Sprint version; waiting to root until this hits.
