[Q]Newbie_work_with_Jetstream? Something to ask. - HTC Jetstream

Hi every one.
I've bought the Jetstream tablet. ^^
As I know, this tablet have 3g, usb OTG, HDMI via MHL cable, GSM call. That's enough for me.
My tablet has been Rooted, Recovery 5.0.2.7 by DooMLoRD, S-OFF.
I want to ask what tool, data I can use to flash ROM, GSM phone, USB OTG?
Thanks and best regards. Sorry about my nood. :silly:

Help. Wifi problem. How I flash the img file?
Excuse me, I have already install "El-Diablo V1.2 - Android 3.1, Sense 1.1, UltraSmoothRosie". I very appreciate what you do. Thanks to make my tablet more better. ^^
I flash boot.img by cmd command and install Zip file with CWM. ^^

[SOLVED] Think i made a mistake.

Hi everybody and merry christmas!!
So i've a problem with my mini pro sk17. It was unlocked, rooted and with latest firmware 0.58.
I've tried to install hybrid rom v4.5, so for that, i put cwm on my phone. I entered it one time (for installaing the rom) and since, no way to get it back! I 've read the thread about cwm installed, and there is one post wich talk about this issue (missed it of course before flashing!!!!gggrrrrrr): now my phone stay at sony ericsson logo.
Flashtool doesn't work on my pc (java problem, but can't resolve it)
I can put my phone in fastboot mode, but when i try to install another recovery, it says that i'm not root, but yes i am.
Nothing else works. Is there a way to erase completely the phone and push back stock rom or something like that?
Thanks for help.

First of all some questions.
How did you install CWM?
What version of CWM did you run?
Is it nAa's recovery?
I think that your recovery is not able to install custom roms and that it has been deleted during the installation of hybrom.
To install a fully functional CWM and to be able to flash custom roms, you will need to install a custom kernel first, that contains CWM.This can be done only by using fastboot. So you better try and make it work...
Hi, thanks for the reply,
the cwm i've installed was with SE extrem tweak installer found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1346190
but i don't know wich version it was.
Yes i've already tried with flasboot, but the problem is that, when i push the kernel, it says that i'm not root!!
Is there a way to get root with fastboot or adb? cause superone cliq or doomlord script root don't work until my phone is not fully started.
I get adb working some times, but i'm not sure i can do something with it.
Bye

If fastboot says that you are not root, then your bootloader is still locked.Unlock your bootloader (visit this page:http://unlockbootloader.sonyericsson.com/instructions)
and then flash whatever kernel you want....
Yeahhhhh,
it works!!
Thanks a lot, you're a god for me!!
It is strange cause, it wasn't bootlaoder locked before, so that's why i didn't try to unlock it first. For me it was already unlocked.
So, it's great now i can't do what i want.
HAve a nice day.
Thanks again.

[Q]Xperia Mini Pro Help

The USB connector on my phone broke a few months ago and since then I purchased a charger for the battery itself. Today I tried flashing a ICS rom and kernel(via recovery) and now I can't get it to fully boot. I can't seem to access recovery either and I have no way of connecting it via USB. Is there any way I can make my phone flash from an image on the SD card so it's usable?
Info:
Factory Unlocked SK17i
Clockwork recovery
It was rooted
I have a nandroid backup of the firmware.
The bootloader isn't unlocked.
Kernel needs to be installed also via fastboot, Recovery can't install kernels. Also kernel installation requires unlocked bootloader.
Install stock ROM back.
Sent from my Xperia Live using xda premium.

How am I supposed to do that without any USB connectivity? And I used anykernel to install it via recovery.
xperia mini pro
hy.
My problem is that I bought a mini pro. I liked it, nfs shift it ran without any problems, do not faltered. Then I let the Sony Ericsson to upgrade the software.
here the trouble begins.
slowed down the telephone, 3d display out of order.
I can root the device but unlock botloader allowed: no
so my guess there is no way, could be restored, which would be a good firmware.
someone could help me? I would appreciate it.

Doesn't matter what you do, kernels cannot be installed via Recovery. Not at all on Androids.
I would like to see one thread confirming that kernels can be installed via Recovery.

There is no 3D display on Mini Pro...
You can root indeed, make backup of the ROM and throw out some garbage from the phone. Stock phones have always quite a lot unneeded stuff.
I removed about 100 apps with Titanium Backup from my stock LWW firmware.

[Q] I flashed the Wrong boot.img

I really hope this board can help! I am really relying on the kindness of the community on this one.
-At&t one x+
-I used Windroid universal android toolkit and htcdev . com to unlock bootloader, flash recovery, then root. I made the classic n00b mistake and did not create a nandroid backup. (be gentle)
-Flashed the boot.img from this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1987885 using the instal_boot_windows.bat
-Now I am unable to access The TWRP recovery,
-The device will not boot (stuck on HTC Quietly brilliant screen)

Helps to read the thread.
That rom IS NOT for the AT&T X+
Very fast, clean & stable!
Full HTC Sense 5.0 Interface
Multi-language (WWE)
For HTC One X+ (not for AT&T)
Thanks to HTC for the base firmware
Just grab twrp reflash it fastboot flash recovery blahblah.img and do the same for the boot.img WITH AN AT&T ROM (I'm not hand holding you through this)
FULL WIPE AND BOOT THE NEW ROM.
done
Aw crap I failed to mention I can not flash anything, re lock the bootloader ect. I might just toss the phone out I really only diddle around as a hobby. I really don't need you to hold my hand either.

lol, broken usb cable? borked usb port? htc drivers not installed? fastboot mode not selected?
Drivers maybe. Cable works on My LG G3. Should I try using something else to push files beside windroid universal?
used boot.img from here - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2235248
watched the average youtube video on fastboot plus various other online resources on how to use it. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=foLQCNxroHw
Made sure all my drivers and cables were good. and BOOM got it back online.
Mostly put this here for anyone else with the same problem.
Also, learning how to use fastboot has changed my life. I will make tinkering with my lg g3 a lot more fun now.

Glad I kind of pointed you in the right direction! You are the kind of people I love helping. Gentle nudge and they find all the information they will ever need!
Every thread I reaserached said something similar. Use fastboot to flash stuff....any device I had always had a pretty software doing that for me. I actually prefer the fastboot method now that I know how to use it.

Just got a tf201-- need some assistance

Hey there, everybody! Just got a 201 as a "parts only" tablet... turns out it just needed a trickle charge, so i'm off to the races. Wanted to put KatshMallow on here like I have on my tf300... Finally found out that in order to flash the hairybean stuff (so i can actually flash katshmallow) I needed twrp 2.5.0.0 first. So, upon discovering this, I downloaded the proper twrp image and went to flash the recovery via fastboot.
did 'fastboot devices' to make sure it saw the tablet... all good there.
did the 'flash' command, posted the [sending] and [receiving] steps, all said OK
did the 'adb reboot' command just to get things established and boot into the recovery...
but i don't get a recovery prompt, just a dead android with the 'x'. :/
now i don't even have a recovery module. I downloaded the proper package, but went and downloaded elsewhere just to be sure, and got the same result. I *was* going to ask if someone would post a nandroid from a tf201 that already had katshmallow running and try and establish myself that way, but again, no recovery at all. What do I do from here? anybody happen to know what the last twrp version for the 201 that works with JB 4.1.1? i can try to flash a 2.6.x or 2.7.x if either of those will work.
edit: stock os still running fine, jicyw.
Edit #2: went ahead and rooted with that Chinese apk (forgot the name, but ya'll know the one), then installed rashr, thinking maybe my usb connection was to blame for the bad flash, but i have the same result flashing recovery img with rashr: claims success, but dead andy when trying to open recovery console. Boo!

Does the TF201 have it's bootloader unlocked?
NP
So, complete tutorial is here when tab is working : https://forum.xda-developers.com/tr...uide-tutorial-asus-transformer-prime-t3486237
Flashing TF201 is not like TF300.
It is why NVIDIA Download mode is used to backup files.
So, you talk of flashing an apk. How did you do if your tab is down ?
System working ? Download working ? Recovery working ?

[TWRP] hello, i am toxic and i need help with me samsung SM-M225FV

I searched the whole Internet for a custom recovery for this phone and I couldn't even find any.
I know about porting a twrp, but that is hard for me since I am not really that good at coding languages and I don't really own a pc. If someone can help me to find a custom recovery (touch based) official or not please give me it
(I am new to this site, if I made a mistake making this thread tell me)

Hi, I also couldn't find twrp for your device. What exactly do you need twrp for? It is possible to root even without costum recovery. And without PC it is not possible to install twrp on Samsung phone. :-/

Hello jan, I need a twrp because then i can install roms and anything easier (without a pc) since it's a touch based recovery.
Also yes it is possible to install twrp without a pc, all you need is a otg cable and an another phone, by sending adb commands using the other phone it is possible.
