In response to numerous requests I decided to make a walkman player mod.
Its characteristic is to combine the new features for managing audio (clear bass,equalizer) to the lightness and fluidity typical of my Rom Superleggera.
In fact it does not need to run new libraries or any of the new framework (its size is about 4mb unlike the usual 20-40 mb),and X-loud is fully working.
The only waiver is the function of music info...
To benefit of his advantages please remove any previous installed walkman mods.

Remove walkman mod? Do you mean the semcmusic.apk or with the entire libs and the sound enhancements?

If you are on stock music player simply install the zip,if you have previous installed a modded one (from rizal,jader1254 etc..)i think the only solution is to restore a previous backup of your rom and then flash the zip:those mods usually add/replace 20-40mb of files(libs,apks,frameworks)...
Is this for ICS only or can be used on GB too?

Is a lag on first run like in other walkman ports? (one sec lag when walkman is not in memory) And is a problem with covers or not? Can you show ss from music library, albums etc.

No lag at all,it can show covers(if you have) but can't download them..
i already download and flash it via CWM and nothing works, it appears stock walkman :/ how could it be

Check if in your system apps there is a different named one and delete it...

Album art works. Walkman button doesn't work as the music app is with different name.
-DSP Manager working great.
-FC on default walkman player..
-It works w/ Xperia S walkman app.
-However, background color doesn't change. It just stays gray.. Is it just me?
-I added the SemcMetadatacleanup.apk from this thread to edit music info and add album art. It works.
PS. If background color will be fixed, it would be better :] Thanks for this!

Background color works well here. Go to music library > menu > download music info. ( I don't know what write there in english, but I'm sure you will know). After it finished, should be work fine.

But doesn't that just downloads music info? I have no problem w/ album arts. I'm referring to the background color that changes and matches w/ the album art. Mine just stays the same for all songs.. Just gray.

I couldn't test it because I don't have the phone. It would be great if you could test it & send me the result. Probably it needs a patch to work. I need someone who has the phone to help me.
The mod works fine on LWW. But Walkman key doesn't work. I tried ics mod for Xperia S Walkman player, but that doesn't work on GB.

Dude the player works great, the music info thingy works for me. But teh sound enchancement function crashes and there is no lock screen widget for ICS stock rom

I search a thread for restoring drms but in every thread i have read, the results are the same: Impossible to restore drm after unloking the bootloader. The drms are lost. There is a workaround for use trackid correctly but nothing for the info music download in walkman player.
I've successfully run walkman V player on cm10... However visualizer and widget don't work.. Need to fix that..

For me, i don't care about download music info or else, what i want is sound enhancement working. DSP not good enough compared to sony sound enhancement with clear bass. Just my opinion.

I've succesfully ruh Walkman on cm9 too...and run visualizer too...don't work the music info dowhload..imho there isn't a solution for this with drms lost.

I own a SE LWW. It is rooted with a locked boot loader on ICS with the build number .587. Can anyone link to a working version of the Xperia NXT version of Walkman app with the Clearbass and etc?
I have tried ThilanaC's one but I see no change. I flashed it through CWM and thn rebooted it and then moved the audio effects file but still it didn't change.
Any help?

my advice, get the normal walkman, the ones with so called "sound enhancements" are not really enhancing the sound.
if you want better sound, buy better headphones/earphones. really, the default player is good if your hardware is good

No, I actually didn't go for the ones with the fancy names or features. I just want the stock Walkman app from the Xperia NXT series.

i flashed only acid 8 without walkman....and using player pro with its built in virtualizer.....sound is awesomely increased and crisp on my stock neoV:laugh: headsets
i cant understand how you can "feel" the difference. Everyone says it is awesome. I have seen no difference of such high level.
I installed noozxoide and it is the exact same thing! I have used many headpods and a cheap headphone. No huge difference. I have also useD my 2.1 audio system and well there is completely no difference with noozxoide and acid!. Just flash a walkman addon.

that is a rare statement i am seeing second time.......if you have installed acid 4 before....then it is impossible to see no difference apart from wrong installations...
i never needed noozoxide ....for me its crap.....walkman is slow and 35 mb size but worth it....
what we hear with stock sound is plain music....and the difference i saw with acid is.....high depth in music,and little un-needed bass

in my view try flashing over your v4....if it works....wonders for you.....if not..either way flash new rom...it did works

look for the screenshots...sometimes the modded technology does not adapt every ROM base(due to libs issues)

Did u do a clean install?? Acid requires clean install,and did u wipe cache and dalvik cache?
