Dual Shot Freezing on HyperDrive RLS4 - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S 4

Ok guys I had gone ahead and flashed HyperDrive RLS4 and I have already run into some problems. The major problem (which isn't so major really) is that when I try to use dual shot it just freezes. It doesn't freeze my phone or the camera app but just the picture as if its stuck on one picture. If i take a shot it updates the picture of the outer camera but not the front facing camera.
Minor issue is that the battery icons all have a black square around them and doesn't look good with the status bar so I'm forced to use "text only" to keep it simple and clean.

Im having the same issue on sonic rom

Found out it was a problem with using the ktoonsez kernel. I switched to faux kernel and it all went away.

[Request] 1% Battery meter on stock rom

I'm wondering if someone can tell me how to make the battery meter display in 1% increments. I know it's going to take some work, but I'm willing to learn if someone can point me in the right direction.
Thanks!

Looks like I found the method of doing this.
Going to take me a day or so to mod, but if anyone wants it I'll make it available with a blue theme on the notification toggles and status bar with a Guage style battery meter.

Holy hell, I didn't expect anyone to ask.
I'll do my best. Still haven't gotten a chance to work on it. Trying to get a research paper written for publication, hopeful this weekend I'll have some time to play.
Want to make sure it works before I distribute it.

You know you can enable "show battery percentage" in the rom right? Is that what you're looking for?

Did that. But I want a battery meter that does 1% increments too. And mostly a guage style meter.

I see.
Everything is set up perfectly on my GN2 except for wanting a gauge style battery (in red) as well. Beans has that option in his ROM but I am running stock right now. I was about to start researching how to change. How is it going on your end?

Slowly, but now that I know it exists on Beams rom it will make the work considerably easier. Maybe this weekend I'll have time to look through his and try to kang what I need.

So apparently the systemui.apk is assembled more differently than I thought. Everything I try removes the notification bar completely.
If anyone else gets it working that would be awesome

[Q] Blue tint screen?

Anyone else ever get a blue tinted screen? Occasionally (several times a week), when I reboot the screen has a very dark blue tint. I tried to take a screenshot to post, but the screen shot looks normal. Rebooting fixes the issue most of the time. I am running Neo's Tron ROM (v1.2) and Shrike's Ermahgerd (build 12.2.5) kernel. anyone ever seen this before? any ideas to fix?
Maybe try a different ROM and see if it is still there. I personally haven't seen the blue tint on my zound so hard to say.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure I have only seen it on Tron, but I flashed Tron when it first came out in mid January and only started seeing this issue a couple of weeks ago.... I'll take a picture with my camera next time it happens and post it.
Well in the movie tron the programs was basically blue lol. Sorry had to say it.

Here are some pictures of the screen from some frequent apps. Screenshots look normal tho... anyone have any ideas?

Inverted Google voice

Just wanted to point this out to any other Google voice fans out there. I don't like the white of the stock app and prefer a dark look. Well I stumbled across this themed version that's inverted in an ics flavor. It goes well with the rest of my theme and is the latest version too

Yes. Installed ok, but crashes right at open. I uninstalled again, but this time did not restore any data after installing the dark version. Working fine now.
Thanks

Can't believe this happened lol

I just got my s4 a few days ago. I love it. Well the other day I was calling this girl I met for the very first time. I wanted everything to go perfect. She ended up not answering so I go to end the call and this thing pops up saying messaging app froze or something and it wouldn't let me push ok to close it. The phone was totally frozen. I couldn't hang up, push mute or anything. At this point her Voicemail is recording everything while I try to figure out how to hang up. I sort of awkwardly said "my phones frozen and idk what to do" lol. I then started to take off my case and finally got the battery out. Total freak accident. Unfortunately, I haven't heard back from her..

I have to say I lol'd at this story.
This type of stuff used to happen with my Droid Charge before this phone. It was massively frustrating. It started dropping texts and I totally missed out on hanging out with a girl I had a thing for. Oh well, if it was meant to be then it will still happen.
This story is awesome. However. Who calls other humans now of days. Isn't that what flip phones were for? Cellular devices

hahaha good story.
also sigh at one of your first experiences with the GS4 is having force closes....yeah i've been getting A LOT of them lol
Force closes aren't funny, but the epitome of Evil! Sounds like a buzz kill for luv in this case.
The exact same thing happened to me twice yesterday.
I think it was the Facebook messenger app so I uninstalled it.
Haven't had anymore lockups or freezes since.

S4 restarting on its own.

Anyone else's s4 ever done this? It just did it and that's maybe the 3rd time it's happened. I'm completely sock and running nova launcher prime.
Hmm apparently I got some screen mirroring update? No idea what that is.

lol #3??? What on earth are you doing to these poor S4's
I'm not doing anything to them. Each one I've had has had some sort of issue.
But it's only rebooted a few times since I've had it. It's very rare so I'm not that annoyed.
Mine has done it a couple of times as well. Usually when I'm using it pretty intensely. I figure I just overload it, and it causes it to reboot. Now its got an issue of sometimes freezing on the Verizon logo at boot. Have to pull the battery to get it to boot when this happens.
Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 2
Mine has done this too. Also I have had trouble in the middle of a call getting a crazy echo and jarble. This my second one having both these problems;(
