I had used the SP tool and downloaded the stock rom provided by moulinksy
i was on .20 firmware so when i flashed the rom the TPU upgraded did not happen assuming as it already was done when i flashed the .20 version of 4.1.2
1.i have been using this from around the 7th of this month
2.first few days i had the screen flickering problem then it was gone around the 4th day
2. i had problem with the proximity sensor while making calls but now it is also gone now everything seems to be working fine:good:
3. I dont use GPS & Bluetooth so dont ask me about that as i dont know
so based on my experience i feel that if u wait for a few weeks with the 4.2.1 stock things will get fixed automatically. That is what exactly happen for me i did not do any tweek did not root or anything just used the stock ROM till now and now everything seems to me working perfect as it should be for me now :good::laugh:
And yes u can move apps and games to SD on this version:laugh: i also tried this and it works :good::laugh:

its ok for me all is working fine and i have been using the stock for around a month only one thing get the new version of SP tool what i have given in my link is old it did work for me but some people had a problem and it was ok for them with the new version look in the forum u will get the newer version good luck:good::laugh:

This rom will have 100% Flash support with all websites apart from youtube. so if you use flash and go to youtube your browser will FC.
This rom will require the baseband ending in 15.

This is the few issues i have with this rom ATM.
Camera= not working yet.
Camcorder = not yet.
GSM is bassicly working. calls can come through to me but i cant call out. so need to make GSM 100%.
Texts service = fully working.
Data = not working will fix A.S.A.P.
Vibrate = not working will be fixed in 1st release.
Wifi = Fully Working.
Bluetooth = not working too many FC will fix A.S.A.P
Sensors now working
EVERYTHING ELSE = FULLY WORKING.

BTW ide like to thank racht as i used again some libs and all apps from his 2.3 port of his rom as i didnt have time to resize all the apps but now we have data. im really tired and my backs hurting i have been on this computor all day working on this so now its time for some rest and 2morrow is a new day for our x8 we can now have FULL sense rom on x8. i just gotta figure out how to do this damn camera and camcorder :S i might need some help with that if any1 wants to help

your not a tester atm but you can mail me and i will make you a tester
AFAIK, you can use the original SE libs in every 2.1 ROM, so you would just have to copy the libs and then all bugs should be fixed.

this does not work already tryed they have to be related to HTC in some way but cant figure it out. i have just been getting things working by modding the lib files to work with our kernel

my rom is only in beta stage so most things work but some dont so just test rom in general mate please

LOL no i got it mixed up with my other 1 its 2.2.1 sorry lol i am working on 3 sense roms lol but my oh my check out how nice and smooth the scrolling is on it feels SOOOOOOOO much better than any other rom i have made or even used beats GB by far
Ye i just noticed its 2.2 ok first impressions very smooth scrolling across homescreens lags a TINY bit but i can live with it quadrant didnt work when i tried it but will try again i personally hate the font but i can change it myself maybe others want it camera and camcorder dont work for me :/ will update as i test more but very impressed so far

thanks. yes i tryed a quadrent test but failed dunnno why. but i got a feeling i may not be needing this rom after all read 2nd post in 5mins ill show you why i think every1 is going to be exited when they see what i have just done

HTC's Sense is not an android version. it is a user interface over the android OS.
hello first of all thanks to iiandskater for this lovely rom.i really love this rom,hence i was using cm10 for my sk17i ,after i see this rom i tried to install it on my sk17i,i followed the steps just like ur post,first i wiped all and afterwards i flashed jv 5.3 and then dev files for mango also then gapps and keyboard but afterwards i got one bug that my hardware keys are not working:crying:.so i saw from ur thread 1) first flash jv 5,3 then 2) addons 3)key board language packs 4)flashed dev for files for mango u provided and it worked for me :good: but all of the times i was not getting wifi even i downloaded the kernel that u provieded.i really appreciate your hardwork for making this rom ,hope i will get a solution and sorry for anything i mentioned here badly because its my first post:crying:

wifi means is it wifi hotspot or just wifi
anyways many custom rom has problems with wifi so it may not work properly please contact the dev of this rom
try any 3rd party apps for using wifi that may work
its wifi not turning on, i will try to download thirdparty applications

and iam using the exact kernel mentioned by dev itself

yes i tried lupus kernel because it was working fine with my cm 10 and also NAA kernel and also mikes+naa kernel and also stock kernel
but all failed some wont boot up and some will work except wifi

finally WIFI is working fine in my sk17i with jellyvanilla 5.3
i installed fxps cm10.2
and i thought of trying jv again
so i first flashed kernel provided in the zip
and then
done full wipe
system,cache,and system format
:good:
then installed jv from recovery
but first i was not able to boot in to recovery but afterwards i installed xparts from the market and then clicked boot in to recovery from that
but again i wasnt able to boot in to recovery then i saw post from devs forum it happens due to minor bug in fxps kernel so after clicking boot in to recovery just need to press menu button once and it worked perfect for me

and i flashed light gapps and xperia keyboard and booted again
and my wifi was working perfectly in my sk17i
but only one issue is my hardware keyboard is not working
so i flashed the dev files for mango too
and now my hardware keyboard also working and thanks iiandskater for this perfect rom for my sk17i

I have a stock Asus TF201 running 4.1.1 ...not rooted or anything ....and seems to be a bit slow ...so was thinking maybe time to upgrade to a custom rom to make it a bit more snappy ...its out of warranty !! lol
As im very new to this ....how do i do this ? plus i have about 10 apps that need backing up first , do i use the apps backup on sytem already or do i need to use something else first .(titanium ? but root needed )
I have seen a few videos on youtube showing upgrade to AndroWook 4.2 (looks straight forward ..ish lol )....but what is the best ROM to install ? or the best rom thats the easiest to install lol .
Also do the custom roms allow use of the dock keyboard ....dont use it much but be nice if i could if needed .
Any help most appreciated

Use Titanium Backup to backup the App+Data...
right looks like first thing is to root it ....by what it says on the link you gave me , it roots it without unlocking ...is that ok if going to change roms or does it need to be unlocked ...the unlock tool on asus site is only for ICS .

Right ...rooted it via the method listed ...and worked sound ..installed titanium back and backed up my apps .....so then did factory reset and reinstall my apps via titanium backup .
Then went onto the site listed to tweak the stock rom ...doing most of it ...missed out couple of things as didn't want to brick it .
Now working so much better, less lag ...especially using keyboard ....so well happy .

I did that but then it still wasn't enough. Just straight up backup your files, unlock the boot loader, flash custom recovery and flash custom rom

Right ...took a few hours but now have it unlocked and have backed it up with nvflash ...all working fine .
now have Flatline CWM Recovery ..

well after playing around with tablet for most of the day ...i have now managed to install TWRP latest recovery tool ....took me ages to get it to install properly without locking up recovery mode ....so then tried Cyanogenmod 10.2 Unofficial ...but got stuck on the rotating arrow ...so had to clear data and reinstall ...worked fine ...but did not like it so have restored my old image ...now going to try hairybean image ....any others that are really good ?

I am a new user at XDA forums..
I have an Xperia U ST25i..
I rooted it 3-4 days back and unlocked the bootloader 2 days back..
I installed the Infinity Custom ROM 3 days back..
then 1 day ago I installed Zperience ROM..(but i wasn't satisfied with interface as it was the stock one)
Then I unlocked the bootloader..
I installed the Galaxy SU ROM and my touch stopped working and doesn't work on any custom rom now..
Plz help me out that what may be causing the problem and how can i fix it.. :crying:
and yes, I am able to use the touchscreen by restoring the stock backup and by flashing the stock ftf
I shall be very thankful to you as I want to install roms and appreciate your work here.. :laugh: :victory:

Any idea how to start the porting procedure! because the only physically difference between MMX 116 and iq4410 is the screen size! Dnt know internally wether they are different or not!
yes, everything is same of this phone except the screen size(4.7")

This is same rom like other 4.4.2's...it requires pure Kitkat kernel compiled from Kitkat source.

This mean until and unless someone dnt release the KitKat source for mt6589 we would not be able to port ROM like these??? Although Kashkernel, neo kernel has the support for Kitkat so changing the RAMdisk of there boot.img with these kernels aslo wont make any difference???
I think we would have to wait little bit long for these sources to get released! :laugh: :laugh:

Hello guys I found on a site but now I forget now see can any one make it a ROM
This is KITKAT..
Someone posted this thing on JUNE 13th(see the 1st and 2nd ss)..
It is KitKat 4.4.2 .. The official one for AMOI N828..
And somewhere in comments I said that i would flash this..
I know some of u will make a fun out of me, that we have many kitkat roms availabe.. But are the same guys who were dying for kitkat to come..
I flashed it nothing happed, the phone didn't boot up.. Then i replaced the boot.img from Android L rom with the one in this zip.. Then I copied 'modules'(in /system/lib) folder from 4.2.1JB to 'lib' folder..
Deleted scatter file, recovery folder, and all those nonsense folders.. Made a zip.. Flashed it(on TWRP2.6.3.0).. And WOAH...!!!
For the phone booted up.. And this is what i saw..
I'm not facing any problem.. I'm gonna start modding it from tomorrow..
If u don't believe me.. Try it yourself.. Just keep the "boot.img" and "modules" thing in mind..
I found NETWORK ISSUE..
Which got solved after replacing "modem_1_3g_n.img" from Android L .. Thanks Subin..
I'm so happy cause this is stock.
I have uploaded the files to be replaced .. The zip is not to be flashed..
I have written all the steps to carry out procedure in this folder .. Just read "Read_Me.txt" file..
