[Q] Swipe off the HALO notifications - Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Is it possible to swipe off the unwanted HALO notifications or do I have to open every notification in order to close it?

All u have to do is swipe up to dismiss halo notifications. And swipe down to minimise. By swipe up I mean swipe upwards from tbe halo circle

You can turn that off in the settings. It's ADWLauncher's hidden dock bar.
Thanks not sure y but I was doing it often not sure I understand the function of that setting but I'm glad I can disable it
It allows you to have a second launch bar, you can put icons in the blank space when you slide up the dockbar

Thats wierd I dont see any notifications besides your alarm and the bar to the left that says u have more notifications....why dont u drop down the top bar and see what they are. once u clear those notifications, the bar to the left will disapear...unless u have a crap load of stuff showing on the top bar....
Enable notifications from quick panel, 6th option if you scroll to right

Get quick compose to work again?

Is there a way to call the quick compose function and assign it to a gesture for chompsms? On JB now the only way is in the notification bar. I tried all launchers and they wont let me assign the quick compose function to a gesture

Lockscreen in rls11

Call me crazy but I'd swear i could swipe anywhere on the screen to unlock it. With 11 (4.3 base) if i pick the swipe option the ring at the bottom comes back, which I don't care for. Any ideas? Thx.
Lockscreen mods, then check and uncheck aosp lockscreen fixed it. Fyi

Prevent app from being killed like in MIUI?

Was wondering if there is any app, xposed module or any other way in which I could prevent an app from being killed in any aosp or cm rom. Something like in the miui ROM, where I just need to swipe down the app in the recent app window to lock it and prevent it from being killed, would be great. Such a feature would be useful.

if you are using any custom rom which support slim recents it has the option to lock the app
Didn't know that. Will check it out
Edit1: using slim recent on resurrection remix ROM. Can't seem to figure out by what gesture can I lock the app. Just shows 2 options when I long press on app icon in slim recent: floating mode and app info. Swiping the app icon left or right kills it.
Found an app in play store which prevents the app from being killed, MEMORY LOCKER. Will try it out and report in some time.
