Hello all,
After Long time i changed from Cm10.0 to CM10.1. Everything works fine but i have one Thing that i dont like.
How can I disable the Dockbar??
The Navigationkeys are on the middle, on CM10.0 they were on the left and the Menükey was on the upper right.
How can i Change it??
I found in the Settings the highres Settings, but it did not Change the look of the Screen.
Any Idea??
Tablet mode does not come default from 4.2.2.
But you can try Apex Launcher and enjoy the tablet mode on home screen and launcher menu.
With the low DPI setting you will get most of tablet interface.
If fancy the system wide tablet mode (eg.notifications at the bottom) try AOKP rom.

Hi,
Just did a factory reset and installed launcher pro. Trying to get a favorite photo to work as a wallpaper, however it just zoom's right into the imagine showing only a small part of it.
Ive done a search, tried resizing photo to 960 x 800, 800 x 480.
Tried app wallpaper set and save.
No joy.
Any ideas?
960X800 is best, you need to manually stretch the selection box though.

Thanks for the reply. Ive tried stretching it, landscape, vertical. No joy.
Tried go launcher too which did the same thing.
Seems there are other people with different devices having the same problems. Cannot find an answer though.
Cheers

same problem here.
flashed with litening rom and using louncher pro.
it zooms the wallpaper despite I tried default resolutions.
lockscreen is fine.
anyone?
I had the same problem. My solution :
1) Choose your 800x480 wallpaper. Launcher pro will zoom in.
2) In settings, remove launcher pro as default launcher.
3) Press home button, and choose the normal touchwizz launcher. The wallpaper you chose at step 1 will fit your screen this time.
4) Press home button again, and choose launcher pro (dont forget to re-set launcher pro as your default launcher) : no more zoom in. Et voilà !
EDIT : Sorry for my bad english, i'm french o.o !!!!
Hey everyone - having a slight problem with my all-time favourite wallpaper (which I brought along from my Symbian device) in combination with GO Launcher Ex.
Whenever I try to choose it as my homescreen wallpaper it gets zoomed in and very pixelated - TouchWiz doesn't have that problem.
Unfortunately Google & site search weren't able to provide a satisfactory solution ..so, anyone have an idea how to get it working?

Try to get that pic in 480 x 800 resolution, it will fit perfectly for portrait mode wallpaper.

Cheers mate, seems to have worked!
Blew the pic up to 480*852 first and then cropped 52 pixels from the top (only black anyways).
Resolution still seems to be fine enough.
Guess another possibility would have been to make a new all black 480*800 image and copy mine into the centre of that ..
Mmh. Will try that aswell.
*edit*
Crap. Just installed the newest version of GO Launcher and back to zoomed wallpapers we are - regardless of size. Only way to fix it is to switch back to TouchWiz and then back to GO Launcher again - which sucks.
!%#'"§!
What if you use Wallpaper Set and Save or Wallpaper Plus? They come out very sharp when I use apps like these.
I have noticed this bug as well. I can get it resolved by going back to the default launcher temporarily, set the wallpaper there, then relaunch Go Launcher, and it seems to be correct. It only happens to portait pics where there is no background scroll though.
Could it not be due to the wallpaper being in scan mode (as you go through the 7 screens the background image moves along)? Because in my HD2 (in SD Android) would select a square-ish area from the centre of the image I wanted as a wallpaper. When I changed it to the same image for all screens, then the selection of the image was in the same shape as the screen.

Are those Apps? Haven't heard of them before and might give it a shot - however there's probably also a certain increase in battery use associated with that method, something I'm not sure I'm prepared to accept.

Yup, exactly the same here. If only it weren't for the GO Launcher Calendar widget, I'd try another launcher or stick with stock TouchWiz ..

I have unticked that option, the background isn't scrolling.
Meh..

The problem seems to be known but possibly not recognized as a problem by the GO Dev team:
After the research, it seems the wrong of Android system. Because the API we use to get wallpaper of system give us the zoom wallpaper.

Also, another possible solution seems to be https://market.android.com/details?id=org.tamanegi.wallpaper.multipicture - however, Live Wallpaper = more juice required.
Same here happened. I just switch to TW luncher and back to GO luncher
Actually, installing the latest update of the GO Calendar widget seems to have fixed the problem.
When I installed it the wallpaper first bugged out again but when re-setting it, it worked fine without switching to TouchWiz. Perhaps that'll work for someone else, too.

Had same problem, stopped using stock gallery to select wallpaper, and started using qpix to select wallpaper, and it works fine for me now. Seems problem for me was the stock gallery app I was using to select the wallpaper.
Currently having the same issue and neither TW or GoLauncher is playing nicely with me.

I am having a problem I am using GO Launcher Ex and my backgrounds appear to be zoomed in a little bit even though when I'm setting the wallpaper it is fully zoomed out with the orange box. It has only recently happened because it never did that before and it happens no matter what wallpaper I set.
Android 2.3.6 CheckROM GT-i9100
Anyone have any answers?
Thanks.

Just an update: I found that switching back to twlauncher fixed the problem with the wallpaper! Switched back to Go Launcher Ex and it stayed fixed. Weird.
In case that doesn't work
Hey I found that my background would not scroll if I swapped to the tw launcher and then back, and it seems that its the default wallpaper selector. I use wallpaper wizardii and choose the scroll option when setting wallpaper and it works great.
When switch my nook it landscape mode on the home screen (by turning it horizontal) and then moving it back to portrait mode, my wall paper seems to zoom in. Im wondering if its just a go launcher thing or i messed something up somewhere along the line.
Can someone test for me? Im using the standard built in nook wallpapers.

Have you rooted and installed gapps on your device? I noticed immediately after rebooting that the wallpaper was being stretched, even before installing go launcher. I dunno what is up.
I have a wallpaper i downloaded, and i don't appear to have this issue.

Yes i have. I even did a system restore to see if that fixed it, and it did not. Right now i just disabled auto rotate on the home screen and set the background to vertical mode (in the luncher settings).
This is the onlyway i can make it so itdoesnt zoom in.

Is it a Hd wallpaper like the ones that came with the nook tablet? Do u mind setting your background to one ofthe default wallpapers and testing?

Ive noticed that the NT's default pictures app does a pretty terrible job with wallpaper cropping. I have much more success when i set wallpapers directly from dolphin browser. The 1024x600 resolution also doesnt seem suited to alot of the wallpaper apps either. Ive had more success downloading 1024x1024 wallpapers from sites that tailor to the iPad.

The standard Go wallpapers (like the vertical rainbow), seem to work fine for me. I too, have found images set directly from Dolphin seem too look the best though.
*edit* Just recreated what you're describing. Does it with nook wallpapers, but everything seems to work fine for me.

These are the dimensions I found to work:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=19647527#post19647527
And I too, am seeing the zooming effect using 3 different launchers.
Had the same problem with custom wallpapers, Wallpaper Wizardrii (from market) seems to be able to properly size the wallpapers so there's no strange zooming. Use the 'stretch' option on a wallpaper that's larger than the vertical dimension (1024).
cheers
I've been experiencing difficulties adjusting MultiPicture Live wallpaper on my Samsung Galaxy tab 10.1. The problem is Screen 2 wall paper appears on all my screens, I've re-installed this application, updated my android version to 3.2 and restarted my tablet numerous times. However, all these methods failed!! Pleasee it will be highly appreciated if someone can solve this dilemma.
What launcher are you using?
If it's not switching wallpapers and your screen paths are correct then multipicture isn't detecting the change in screens from the launcher.
You may want to look in multipicture's settings to try the "workaround for some home application" setting. If it's on "none" try the honeycomb one.
I'm using ADW Launcher EX, I checked "worked around home application" setting and it was already on Honeycomb.
i was also having this problem, there is an option some where to allow desktop scrolling or something to that extent. im going to sleep right now but ill get back to you tomorrow when i get a chance to pick up my tab.
lol this drove me mad for a week before i could figure out that you need to check the adw settings and allow wallpaper sceprolling

Im currently on liquid RC7 and have been trying to get the right dpi setting for tablet mode however when I go too low say around 180 DPI my launcher crashes after the mandated reboot. Im assuming I also have to enable tablet mode when I change the DPI so I have done that.
Can I get some suggestions from people who have this setup to work flawlessly? What DPI has worked for you with what other settings?
I believe true tablet stuff kicks in around 177. Try using apex or nova launcher. They work well in tablet mode.
