S10-101w Firmware(S10-101w,Android 4.1,C001B011SP15,WIFI Version)
1. After the upgrade of JellyBean, sometimes system will reboot when delete app.
2. I'm using 8Gb Wifi version, internal storage is too low.
How to change the internal storage and external storage suggestions?

I do have a china GT-i9300 phone with ICS 4.0.4.
It has 512MB internal storage, 2GB SD internally, and I have a 32 GB external sdcard, by default mounted as sdcard2.
Now I did root it, installed a cwm recovery and flashed a rom labeled 4.1.9. (Still ICS 4.0.4)
Installing this rom does some changes to the storage space that I find useful.
It remaps the internal 2GB sdcard into phone storage, and my 32GB external card is mounted as sdcard. And my internal 512MB storage is now monted as sdcard2.
This is all good, but can anyone tell me ho this is done?
Can I do the same on any other android phone?
i have huawei honor 3c lite, with 16gb internal storage. i want to split internal storage so that when i reset my phone my data remains safe. ihave not rooted my device (can root if required).
I have a spare cheap ZTE phone that only has 8GB internal memory.
So I added a 16GB external SD card and formatted that as Internal Storage. Now on the android phone, I was finally happy to be able to have all the apps install on the external 16GB microsd card.
In the android storage settings, it also shows up as 24 GB total (8GB phone plus 16GB microSD)
However, when I use ES Explorer or when I connect it to a PC, it only shows me 3.24 GB so I can't copy any music, photos, or large files... it's not letting me access/use that rest of the 24 GB I'm supposed to have available because Android seems to encrypt it (as it was Android formatted it as internal storage, I believe).
Android understands it has 24GB available when installing apps, but it only thinks it has 3.24 GB when trying to copy data files.
What is the deal with that? What should I do? Is there a workaround or fix?
Hi All
I have a Saumsung Tab 3 Lite (SM-T116) with 8GB device capacity. I am unable to move certain apps to my SD card as it is greyed out. Is there someway that I can expand my internal storage so that my tablet sees my microSD card as a storage for my tablet as well?
AFAIK the tablet runs Android 4.2. If that's correct then there is no chance to convert an external SD-card into internal storage.
I believe I used to have the option to format an SD as internal storage but can't find it now.
Does anyone know how to do this?
I'm using One UI 4.1.1 on Android 12
That is because you have to do it from the Samsung My Files app.
