Hi.
It's not quite GTab related but probably all Tablets.
I am using Business Calendar on my homescreen. Especially the week view widget (4 days) something like this:

Unfortunately, the widget is distorted when rotated from Portrait to Landscape, it looks good in Portrait.
Is there another Widget as alternative which does not get distorted?
Or another way to build the homescreen so it is looking good?
Thanks you
UN SALUDO !

Hello all,
So I love Fancy Widgets' Fancy Home setup - with the sense like time and weather etc.
In landscape mode, the default display for Fancy widget is a landscape style view, with time, then weather, next to it on the right.
In portrait, it shows the time, with the weather under it, just like Sense/Beautiful Widget.
However, on occasion, my Fancy Widget will show the portrait view while I am in landscape - and it looks AWESOME.
Does anyone know if there is a way to make it display this way ALL THE TIME?
I much prefer the portrait style layout...but while in landscape mode.
Thanks!
p.s Has anyone else experienced this? I'm sure someone has - it happens to me once a day I would say.
I`d like to know it, too!
I'm looking for a simple agenda/calendar widget that is scrollable, links to stock calendar when clicked, and can be size 4x2.
I really like how the stock Agenda widget looks and works, but can't figure out how to get to settings or re-size it from full-screen to 4x2.
Is this possible or whats my best alternative? I did some looking through the marketplace for other apps/widgets, but really like the stock one the best.
Thanks!
The size of a widget must be programmed by the developer. If there were a 4 x 2 Agenda widget, there would be more than one icon in the widget list when you install the widget.
Evidently, the developers concluded that you need the full screen space to accomodate all your agenda items.
I'm looking for a clock widget that looks good in both portrait and landscape modes. I'm tired of clock widgets that look like crap when the launcher is in landscape mode (or, if they look good in landscape, they look like crap in portrait), like HD Widgets or Beautiful Widgets.
I've only found one widget that changes its layout completely (read: not just stretches in one dimension and contracts in the other) to adjust itself to its new allocated area: Accuweather. See the attached images for what I mean. Notice the layout is completely different, and nothing overlaps/looks stretched/tiny. Both modes look great.
Now, my problem with Accuweather is that I'm looking for something darker, that looks better with the wallpaper. Do you know of some widget that does the same as Accuweather (different layouts for portrait/landscape) and allows customization?
Thanks!
So... nothing? Nobody knows of a clock/weather widget that is intelligent enough to use different content layouts depending on its available space?
I have tried dozens I can't find a calendar widget. I want something big (100 panel at 320dpi) nice earth tones no transparency and events spelled out
Basically I want the stock touch wiz widget (about the only thing I like from touchwiz) alas that widget is not available outside touchwiz grr I run launcher prime.
Any suggestions? Basically I want this (attached) for a single month as a nearly full screen widget.
Simple calendar widget is close (second attachment) but it lists at bottom not "in" the calendar but that is how I want to use it. That is 4 4 stretched to I think 8 or something like that do needs to be scalable.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Maybe the touchwiz widget hacked ?
Hey XDA members
I have created a UCCW widget but I cant get it to absolute widget proportions on my home screen. In other words, I cant expand my widget in uccw to meet the size I want in my homescreen
SCREEN SHOT 1: The widget is perfectly fit. If I expand it, it goes out of the box and become invisible.
SCREEN SHOT 2: The widget goes perfect with Horizontal size but plays some gap in vertical size.
I cant vertically expand the image because it will simply result in invisibility, whereas downloadable skins from Playstore have absolute proportion on my homescreen. Can anyone help please? THANKS
