[Q] JB Quick Text Reply in Sense? - HTC Droid DNA

Is this possible, impossible, or it would take a mad scientist 3 years to do it and no one would waste their time on it?

correct, in the notification drop down. I think it could be possible because of on a missed call you can either call or text. But then again, I have no idea, haha.

There's an app called pop up sms , I think that's what it's carried, that sort of does that... It has a pop up every time you get a message though is the only thing. But it does let you do quick reply. Not quite the same thing but that's the closest that I've used

That is correct . I'll get started on it when I get some free time from work and traveling. I was going to wait until we got full root but will get working.

Take your time, man. It's the single-most beautiful theme I've ever laid eyes on. Extremely tasteful and subtle. I can't wait to see the Sense version of it
count me in.

Carrier Name

Hi I was wondering if there was a way to remove the carrier name from the notification bar?
I know with a custom ROM running jkay mods its possible. Not sure by other means.

I'm on the stock rooted rom. It's really annoying me being there. I remember the skyrocket and t989 there was a mod to remove it in the ics roms
I'm not sure why it's annoying. It was there for 1-2 seconds than disappears. GB stock rooted

yes, it's possible to remove it or change it to other text if u want to, but u will have to mod it yourself if no mods from others are available

The carrier logo will dissappear if you have a notification, like i always have my EQ shortcut up there, so i only see the carrier logo for like 1 sec then it goes away. but if you have no notifications then it will always be there.
Another complaint for something that is really not even a big deal.

You guys need to calm down. It's a very common mod across all Android devices. Just like how a battery without % numbers could annoy some people, carrier name annoys OP. People get annoyed by different things. Let it go.

I'm sorry for being human and being annoyed of something. It's my fault for asking for help anyway. These forums aren't as helpful as they used to be.

It's okay dude. You didn't start the thread as a complaint. I wish I knew the answer as well though, I want to just put a space or nothing at all.

[Q] How to turn off "wake up" if phone is 100% charged?

If the phone is fully charged (100% notification) the screen turns on.
Phone wakes up.
If i use it in dark sleeping room i (or my wife) wake up and get blind.
Is it possible to turn it off?

You could always just turn the phone over.......
ok... its in a docking station.
not possible to turn over.
is there a REAL solution for this known?
Turn the docking station in another direction... apart from that I doubt there being a solution right now

The S2 is the same with stock ROM. There is no way to disable that. Only way to disable that is to install custom ROM/kernel.
Find it in settings and change to .bak, or freeze it if you use titanium backup?

How is it dumb? The OP didn't say it was in a dock in his first post. It's only logical if you don't want to see the screen, to turn it over.
YOUR post, sir, was dumb.

That is correct. But rather than tell him to just turn it over, I would have kept my mouth shut.
I do hope the op does find a solution, then he can turn it back over.

I would imagine there's a solution for this that can be flashed. Hope some dev can fix this..

you would have to root the phone, then use root explorer or titanium backup to do it. The file name's are USUALLY pretty easy to figure out what they do.

Yes it is. Its a low tech solution, but a solution nonetheless.
Get a flip cover or put a sheet of card/paper in front of the screen!

thanks for the "creative" ideas
But these things are not a solution, they are workarounds ^^
If there is nothing to deactivate it. hmm. bad.
lets see what happens with other roms which i'll try in future.

You're cracking me up, didn't bother to even look at the file did you?
Thanks Meter = 0, who's the noob?
And no, I won't descend to your level....
You are so weird, the question of this thread has been answered and nothing should happen. It is YOU jumping up, showing how "well known" you were. Not sure how you were educated and even non-trained to respect others.

It's been answered about 150 times prior, so we didn't need this thread in the first place. My point exactly.

SPY software detected?

ok, so I just got the LG V10 two days ago, and I'm already seeing this popup that there's spy software on my phone? It's asking me to use 360 Security, which I then installed, but it didn't find anything. Anybody else getting this?

FWIW, I cannot imagine getting such an alert recommending a specific product to address your issue, let alone click on its link. :silly:
Sent from my LG-H901 using XDA Labs
Gotta love VZW false positive alerts. My friend's sister had a similar warning when opening her freaking gallery. Then again that is what you get with VZ bloat.
Yea..except 360 security isnt a vzw product.....
Quit looking at porn sites
It's a fake popup. I can't tell you how many times I have been warned that my phone was full of Spyware. It's complete b.s.
Remove 360 security from your phone immediately. If anything that is the Spyware. Ignore alerts like that in the future. They are fake.
