It's gonna be weeks before a usable port hits us, if it's usable at all even.

I think that Samsung left us behind, and we paid for our s3 the same as S4 users. Shame on Samsung

I think you're mistaken. Its a specifical Google edition of the S4.... its not the normal S4

Google edition rom is based on Snapdragon, not Exynos, so forget about it. It would be as useful to us as any other actual rom (full of bugs).

Totally agree with sensamic, i would use aosp/aokp/cm instead of this.

Google Play Store 3.7.11 (Jelly Bean Version)

Found the apk for the new version here!
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=27984313
Installed it on my CM9 S2 and it works fine!
Per shoman94 and Simba501, works only on US ICS and GB versions.
Edit: Works fine on my HP Touchpad running CM9 ICS as well!
How about some screenshots. What's the differences?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I'm 99% sure that this only works for USA customers. You should note that.

Considering the i777 att gs2 is a USA phone I'd say its common sense to not use this except for our phone.

You have no clue. There is MANY people outside the USA using this phone. Trust me... I have many of those using my ROM.
From experience, installing different versions of the Play Store to your device besides the one shipped with your device might lead to problems down the road like not being able to purchase things. That might not be the case with this particular build, but if anyone's on the fence, it might be wise to hold off until Google pushes this version of the Play Store out to everyone (you know it'll happen).
Its pretty much the same thing.

I like 3.7.13 way better than 3.7.11. 11 would only show me 25-30 results for each app category, and after using it and reopening it, Movies disappeared.
This version is running flawlessly. Thanks for the link!

You guys do know 3.7.13 started rolling out automatically like 2 days ago right? At least mine updated itself anyways, no need for an apk. Too bad the magazine selection sucks hah.

Viber recently got hacked and the db leak shows they do a lot of tracking of their users.

Can I ask a viber ques? Am trying to run it on both my sgp5 & itouch4 - but it always shuts the latest device added off - it will support two devices but not if it thinks both are cell phones. Apparently it thinks sgp5 is a phone & itouch4 is an iPhone. Can I tell my sgp5 to be a tablet to help this? Most threads about this only show this for ICS running on sgp5 but I am on cm11 KK and not even sure what else tab mode might do. But it might be worth going to ICS to get tab to get viper to stay on?

Original Android on (Google default) GS3

Hello,
I want to know if it is possible to have the original android experience in my galaxy S3 (i9300). I mean the same experience as the nexus devices which have no modifications by the manufacturer. If it is possible, where can I get it?
Thanks

Shawty Shawty Shawty how can you say what is the "best original Android" for anyone when you don't even know what's best for you?
AW: Original Android on (Google default) GS3
I think you will have the original Android on a Samsung device when either Samsung buys Google or vice versa.

So I read up on this because this sounded like something i would really like to achieve as the international has already recieved 4.2.2.
Ive researched a bit and I was just curious if what I've read is actually true. My theory is that since both devices , international and at&t , both have roms for the 4.1.2 firmware then i may flash my phone to run the actual international versions firmware 4.1.2 thus then letting me upgrade to 4.2.2. This is actually be possible on my at&t HTC one 32 GB ? I believe this is true but are there actual proof of xda devs running this? Thanks for the help guys i don't know what the heck I would do without this awesome community of Devs and modders.

You don't need to flash the international 4.1.2 you can flash 4.2.2

Not for nothin, but 4.2.2 hasn't been released. The custom ROMS based on it are using a leaked base
