As far as I know that's only available in custom ROMs however I'm not familiar with Checkrom V4.
Please post in the Checkrom forum and ask over there.
I haven't ever heard anything like that is even possible...I had every ROM from Original Development and never found settings for something like increasing the amount of recent apps.
But...I was satisfied with 6 apps.

yes it's built into most ROMs nowadays, and into some of the ROM tweaks packages, like the ones made by j4n87.

Can I use the tweak package on stock ROM?
I know those Leedroid tweaks are Sense 3.0 roms only--does anyone know if there's a flashable zip to get long-press volume controls (instead of screen wake) on Sense 3.5 roms?
I'm on Eternity, Sense 3.5.
I'm using the Paranoid Rom 2.0 to be exact, and i'm experiencing volume issues. It seems as though, after a certain percentage of volume it doesn't seem to increase further. If anyone could help me that would be great!
Hi!
I am on PA v2.0 has been known to have some bugs. you should flash PAv2.1 which is already out
also, if you would like to share some screenies/goodies.. you can share them to everyone in this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1822082
hope this helps!
cheers

1. This is a known CM10 bug and there is nothing D4ark can do about it, for now.
2. Why not just upgrade to 2.1, which mount but dramatically fix your problem, but it's a lot better.
3. If you are using Siyah or any extweaks compatible kernel, you can boost your headset volume with it. Or you can just download volume boosting apps in market.

Any way to get this feature working on 4.3 roms, instead of having to use the power menu..?? Thanks..
If you're referring to AOSP, use power+volume down. Takes some getting used to but it works. As far as remapping the keys, I'm sure it can be done, but I don't know how.

I'm on SlimBean 4.3 and it doesn't work =( I figured all these roms were CM based but I guess not if something simple like that isn't cross rom friendly.. I love that feature cuz it didnt require you to crop out the status bar on screenshots like you have to do when your only option is pressing the power button or adding a toggle/tile.. I wonder if someone can make a zip or something with the proper permissions to use it on any 4.3 rom..!
Hello, I am looking for a good custom ROM. I mainly use my SGS2 for texting, music, videos and i like to customize my phone. Also i'd like good preformance + good battery safe or something like that so any ideas which one could be good?
- CM11 (i am using it right now, but the battery drains fast)
- Slimkat
- SOKP

Better battery options
Over kitkat
* CM11 m12 over dorimanx kernel .. (I personally recommend this)
* Slimkat over Gustavo kernel
* AOSP NeatROM v8.0+Apolo Kernel Regular
Or you can always use Stock based

I didnt flash cm11 m12 using ROM Manager but i dont think it matters as method of flashing using rom manager is just an alternative for normal method so you can go for it !! Im using cm11 m12 over cyanogenmod kernel for now. So far so good. Didnt find any problems and its smooth and stable, No cases of Application stopped working etc. And with greenify its 4 hours off screen and 1 hour on screen and battery is down to 89% now . What more do you want

For me it looks much better cause i really like black themes and these stuff and the menu is cool but i dont like the top bar, in CM u can slide down the left side of the open apps bar or something like that and when u slide it on the right you can turn on internet wifi etc. In slimkat u must slide down and then switch by clicking
