I was on my phone this morning and was going to look at some music to buy, but when I tried to open the play store it opened for a split second then closed. I've tried again, and again and it will still not work. So if you guys could help me to try and fix it that would be great! Thanks!

Go to setting > more > application manager > all > google play > clear data
You'll likely have to re enter your account data but should work fine after that.

Are you rooted? ROM?
If rooted try wiping cache and delvic cache in recovery. And fix permissions.

No. Just clear cache. I had the same problem yesterday after the update. Cleaned cache, was patient, now it works fine.
Settings > Applications > Manage apps > Play Store > Clear Cache. Possibly reboot too.
thx

tried that.. still can't find whatsapp in play store.. this sucks ..
any other solutions? I can't be the only one with this prob right
Did you check if there was no filter in Playstore parameters ?
Hi,
I am having the same problem after installing an AOKP Maguro rom.
I have lost not just whatsapp but many other apps. in the play store.
The strange fact is that I have been using this rom since march and never had a problem before......it looks like that something has changed on the play sore lately.
try finding the APK file and sideload it....works for me with apps that have been removed from the market place

Hi guys, I am wondering if anyone of you experienced this problem lately, that is having error 403 while updating or downloading apps from google play. By the way, I only started to experience this since yesterday.

Happened to me once. Clear data from "Google Services Framework" and the market, reboot, and try it again. Solved it for me.

Guys, I think they are not working at all. Could it be the problem of new version of play store? I am able to download the apps using mobile data actually but just not over the wifi.
Go to settings>app> type all and find Google service framework and clear data then reboot

Hi,
I'm new here ( noob + hate myself I suppose ) but I'll try my best:
So I had an Galaxy SII lying around and decided to make some use of it.
It was rooted Samsung branded 2.3.3, I had just updated it to cyanogenmod 10.1
following the steps of this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2036229
So far so good, everything seemed to work really smooth.. but Google Voice doesn't.
Everytime I try to start it, it closes instantly and I can see an "Google Voice closed" Dialog
which also disappears instantly, in addition every app that uses this functionality also
crashes as soon as I try to make use of it. Suprisingly, at least for me, is that voice recording
works perfectly.
In first place I googled it in both german and english, either with no helpful results.
I found an article about Google Voice being broken with Jelly Bean, but it also said that
this Issue was fixed already and all you have to do is to update through marketplace.
And naturally I searched this Forum with no results.
I tried to change the language to english ( I'm german ) and tried to put it into offline mode,
clearing app cache and data, updating ( not possible through marketplace, up to date ) nothing
helped.
I also participate in Google Now.
Any Ideas?
Check for updates. An update normally fix this problem
Otherwise u can try to delete data of "settings > apps > all > (Google) search[?] "

I've noticed a few times that when I was running a cm10 rom, some kind of file linked to Google voice search was frozen in tb, even though it was a fresh install and I hadn't even touched it.. Might be worth looking through your apps in tb and unfreezing it..

All I get is the downloading bar and it says it's downloading but it just sits there like that for hours unless I stop it or I let it stop by itself and showing error 923
Sometimes it's running, but most of the time, the bar is not progressing
I manage to be able to download / update the app after I get that 923 error couple times only
I tried this solution on google
"Goto Settings > Application Manager > find Google Play Store
Clear cache & Clear Data > Reboot"
"Goto Settings > Application Manager > find Google Play Store
Clear cache & Clear Data > Setting > Play store services > Clear cache & data > Reboot"
Still no luck

had this issue with my note 2 but dont remember the error code exactly. tried everything possible but it was fixed automatically after a week or so, therefore, wait for few days for a playstore update or firmware update.
Had this issue yesterday but got error code 920, it fixed itself after 20 mins or so

Try uninstalling all the Playstore updates from app manager, delete data and open it. It should take a bit longer to launch because of it looking for an update.
Still happened? Try clean install using flashtool. Hope that will help
