That ported version is touchwiz from the s3 made to work for your phone. AFAIK you can't just pull the apk from the s3 and install it.

Is the ICS Stock Locker OK? Or do you only want the Jelly Bean?

If ICS, it's easy to get.
If someone can tell me where to find the file (assuming that's all is needed) i can pull it off my tablet and see if it works replacing the xs one?

There is no separate file for lockscreen in AOSP.
Ah poo. So the sony lock screen is effectively an added file over the original on the xs?

Basically, yes. If you delete the lock screen apk, you will have the AOSP lock screen.

I guess you would have to mod the framework-res apk and change the pngs. Good luck rebuilding the apk.
