Sorry for my language but i have very bad s3 , the phone have lag with most simple games like backflip madness , also when im in task manager and i press home button the home takes like 15 sec to load up . W## its a quad core phone..... why its like this.
The phone is out of box stock everything. With 4.1.2 and I9300XXELLA . Any help would be appreciated and sorry for my language

See if you can update it to the latest firmware and then make a factory reset. If it still isn't better, go back and exchange it.

i was able to install certain apps from the market without any problems. but when i uninstall them and decided to install them back, i'm unable to. i get message in market that says that the app isnt compatible with my device... i dont get it! how can i fix this?

sorry it was late when I post this but the runny v3.3 rcmix3d is in the desire hd thread. But yeah it could be in the build prop settings but be careful with the change but im sure it has something to do with the I D of the phone in your file explorer in the sys folder you will see the buil.prop once your their you will see all the way to the bottom stuff like ro.model.= as example. I also have inspire 4g and i had this issue but when Capychimp updated his rom it was fix

hi negrobembon.. i didnt change anything in the build file. but i did install 'font changer'. and this does change the dpi. but, i changed the dpi back to normal and i still get the same issue.

I was getting same problem and it was getting annoying. I fixed it by logging into the android market on the web and tried to install an app that said not compatible. Hope that helps.

Im using the sony sketch fonts
Also your market problem is very weird, try to restore and old backup from before u deleted the apps

orb i appreciate your work on xda.. but keep in mind that i put my question in the forum that i thought best. there are many forums here and many times ppl dont know where exactly to put their question or issue. honestly, i dont know the difference between q&a and general forum. to me theyre so similar that theyre the same. i thought i posted my question in the forum that i thought best. you cant ban or punish someone for posting a question in the forum that they thought was a good fit . its not theyre fault.

It is their fault if they have their threads moved over and over again. General forums are for general news and info. Hope this helps in your next thread posting.

I updated to official ICS release recently from 2.3.6 (if i remember correctly). Since then I get too many application freezes. Generally games like DrawSomething, Plants vs Zombies... get frozen. I need to close the frozen app from task mngr and re-open it.
Anyone else having the similar problem or can you guys suggest me something to fix this error?

How many apps do you have installed? Have you tried to wipe dalvik and fix permissions?

1: please do a full wipe
2: most will run on stock ics
3: few won't run on AOSP.

Seems like "wipe" is the only solution for me atm.

Any solutions on this problem.
When i open my google play or marketplace it always say server error. Last night i just dl opera mini then the next day it is always server error. Im also amazed by this problem because i googled this one but almost all post related to this cannot be solved. I tried clearing the data of the app. Reboot. But still no avail. I just want to get a clean answer , so all android users experiencing this would also benefit. Thanks
Solved: flashed my s2 woth speedmod kernel then flash after rooting. Install marketplace enabler. Working now

Try clearing Google Play Store and Google Framework Services data in: settings>applications>manage applications>(find both and select the "clear data" button). See if that helps.

This app basically fools your Android phone and sets different provider/area that you are using.
When you run the app go to Setting list tab and chose one of providers, you will need to press and hold on your chosen provider/area! And chose “fake this provider now” option. (your play app needs to be shutdown before this step for this to work)

Hi, i had to post here but not in the roms thread due to a posting rule on this site. I recently switched to Foxhound rom which is by far my most favorite rom at the moment. I just have on problem in it.
In the - Settings - Foxhound extras - utilities ... there is an option to flash google now onto the phone which i really want to do but i have tryed it several times without success, i download it, go into recovery - install, and reboot. is there anything else i should be doing extra??
All help would be appreciated.

Ok so for the heads up I got it workin now I re download google now from foxhound ota then befor running It un installed google updates then installed google now in recovery now it works hope this helps :thumbup::thumbup:

Hello guys, im using a galaxy s3 international, 4.1.2 stock with no root. So the other day I installed this app from google play, wifi advanced config editor, and I didnt read the description which states it doesnt support gingerbread and above. After using the app for a while, my phone hanged and the app force closed. So is my phone okay now because it seems everything is functioning. Thx

It just sets the region pool, which I'm guessing is what he was possibly trying to do, back in the day it was how you did it, by editing GPS configuration.xml
