How come the only screen recorder on google play that works is this one?
Is there any other alternative? The lack of options and the fact it records the last of the commands entered in the video are both problems with this app.

It works beautifully, other than two cases I have experienced.
1- You must be rooted, I don't think I need to say that.
2- With Super user by Kaush it sometimes reject to work. So Chainfire's SU is recommended.
It doesn't work for me l, it just makes a 44 byte file.

Why don't u use mobizen??
You can see your mobile screen on ur pc and click record video.
Go to mobizen.com and download mobizen.exe and install it on ur pc then go to play store and install mobizen on ur mobile, use same wifi, and no root needed.

Didn't work for me, creates 30 something byte files. Works fine on my Nexus 7 though....

For me it says "Downloading video codecs" which quickly spins up to 100% then hangs for a while until a new dialog box appears saying "Error downloading video codecs. Try again later."

Can you zip up /sdcard/zausan/ directory and place it on hotfiles or similar? That should get around the codecs problem.

Sorry, I don't quite understand you. So far it seems the best application is Screencast PRO (also available in a free version) which uses ffmpeg. Does anyone know what arguments it runs ffmpeg with?

are there any applications or internet sites where in our lovely ace could stream anime?
Ive been searching for applications in the market however all i got which are currently working are Veoh and Crunchyroll but they have small range of anime to choose from...
also ive been going into websites using Ace to stream anime like in crunchyroll, animecrazy.net etc.. however the quality i always get are laggy, and it states that the video isnt for mobile streaming, though i tried the lowest quality the results are still the same.. i though that Ace could support 480p videoplayback?

Just install flash player and then you are able to view any anime on internet. You can get it under the apps and themes section here on xda.

..yup thats also what i do, the thing is im way behind fairy tail and crunchyroll deletes the 30 days old fairy tail clip

They indeed does not but the sites I mentioned streams just video without using made-in-flash-player.

OK, there is plenty of junk video players. I´ve been searching market (2.1 user), google for whole weekend and haven´t found till now a single one video player app that is capable to pause and press menu - take screenshot like all old java sony ericsson phones had. And I´m almost mad about it. They program more and more video apps that sux and don´t have basic function - to pause and take screenshot. anyone can surprise me and write single app what can do this?

They invested their time to make apps and I support those who made really good apps and want some money from it like PowerAmp developers (those guys deserved my money) so I don´t want to use "unlocked and free" payed versions nor basicly simple apps with just 1 thing I´m looking for (v player). Still believe there is some free video app that can take screenshots from videos. Old SE phones on java did that for free too.

Dude there no such thing as " free lunch" in the World.
If you can't crack it then buy it . If you can't buy it then crack it. If you can't make no one then leave it.
For people like you may be go back to old java SE is best choise to do.
Anyway Bs player lite its free and have this feature too but I can't tell if its work on Stock coz I'm on miniCM and its work.
Anyway other idea is some shake to screenshot free app in Gplay ,paushe video from stock player shake phone and take screenshot.

Try MX player, I suppose its the best one around and has codecs for ARM V6, works like a charm

Pretty much the same deal. Works well with the Note i717.
I am running the Hybrid ROM in Tablet mode and this app works great.

Btw, this app already comes pre-installed in the HYFR B4 ROM.
Is it safe for an app to collect a device's imei to their server? The EULA claims that it is used to verify the device. It is in the privacy policy.

No I have the free one and I play YouTube videos. just go into YouTube app and press the share button then see all and its at the bottom.

OK all, while this app seams to have everything I would want it has one major thing I don't want LAG. just wondering is it doing this to everyone or just me? What I mean is this, when it plays a video it plays about 2 sec then buffers, but in the youtube app the same video will play with no issues. I am useinf the free version and have un installed and re installed it already. Also I am getting throttled speeds on ATT however as I have said youtube works just fine. Any ideas?

I haven't experienced any lag as of yet. Both on Flapjaxxx's UCLE2 and CM9.

No lag here and I'm still on FJ's GB ROM.
With more use I've noticed it seems to be only YouTube and only.the hd videos, any other site with hd works fine and the YouTube app with hd works fine. Might just be that I'm throttled, I'll post back after my new bill cycle and update. Just asking is anyone else throttled and working right? By the way I'm only getting hspa+ in my area. But still a GREAT app for anyone, thanks again for sharing.

+1 for the Android Movie Studio. It sucks, but I still find it better than anything on the market. The Tablet UI is better than the Phone UI however. VidTrim is good if you just want to trim, extract screenshots or transcode (however it takes FOREVER to transcode). But honestly...I've stopped trying to edit videos on my phone and I'll just transfer the files to edit in Premiere on my PC.

I was messing around with my buddy galaxy s3 and I noticed they can do this picture in picture kind of thing where they can minimize the video and still use other functions on their phone. I was wondering if anyone can implement this mod in their room or even make it available for the EVO.

or maybe he means this? i can do this with my computer monitor but it requires 2 different sources for video. so i can have my computer video full screen (via a dvi connection) but then have lets say a xbox playing in a small corner at the top through a different cable such as hdmi. looks something like this

No I believe he is talking about the "Pop-up Play" feature that the GS III introduced that lets you play a video, minimize it to do other stuff like text and browse while the video is still playing in a smaller "picture-in-picture" window like seen here. luisrod03 was also correct. Here is another app that let's you do the same thing but it isn't free like luisrod03's link.
Yes the app let me do what I was trying to do... I wanted to view a video while texting and doing things on the phone... Also when u tap on it it will go back to full screen but I do like that super app though
