Celatum: My Android App for storing and sending encrypted notes - Your Portfolio

Hi Everyone,
I developed an app called Celatum to store and communicate via secure notes. It allows you to add trusted contacts and also send them messages as encrypted notes.
Feedbacks and reviews and reviews are welcome. The app is available on Google Play.
I had posted an earlier review/feedback request but somehoe it did not go through.
Best,
Hari

Keep up the good work
I wish you all the best

I looked for your app but couldn't find it, maybe it's not available in my country (Dominican Republic). If it's ever made available, I'd be happy to review it. Best of luck!

[VOTE] Facebook software with iPhone's GUI and BlackBerry's feature.

You know moTweets right?
The super cheap Twitter client (only US$3.99) that Panoramic Software developed.
It has a very nice GUI like iPhone, got complete and perfectly-working feature as well.
And this morning I asked Panoramic to develop Facebook application as well, since there is no single good/decent Facebook application for WinMo yet.
Even the M$' Facebook app is suck and not working right. It even can't fetch the stream by itself, need manual refresh.
The other simply used the cropped version (mobile version) of NewsFeed, not the complete one like BlackBerry's.
I asked them to make Facebook application for WinMo with nice GUI like moTweets and the functionality like Facebook for BlackBerry.
And here's their answer to my idea (we had conversation via Twitter) @PanoramicSoft: "We will definitely consider creating a Facebook app for WinMo. Thanks."
So, just tweet them and give them a vote.
They're surveying whether they need to develop this app or not.
Don't vote here, just send a tweet to @PanoramicSoft or email them at [email protected].
I'm not Panoramic's affiliate. I'm just the satisfied customer that use their moTweets application. And I want to share the idea here so if you all want a good/decent Facebook app, this is the solution.
Or, as I put in the other thread where you mentioned this, use the Microsoft developed Facebook client.

Yup, but that program is a dead program, no further development (stuck in 1.0.0.7p for long time), very slow, can't even do simple basic task (live news feed like the Blackberry's), can't fetch notification, and so many more bugs that rendering it useless...
Up you go! Be the first post in Dev&Hack...
yeah. MS has a crappy client for facebook. half the time I dont get my messages or even look at my profile.
What is it with microsoft. I thought thay paid a **** load for facebook and thay can't make a good app. Saw the new one on my mates I-phone the other day and it was cool.So I'm up for this.
Yeah, that's why, I suggest Panoramic Soft to make one with great interface like moTweets.
They're taking votes now, so just drop an email to [email protected] or tweet them via twitter: @PanoramicSoft
Coz I'm not Panoramic's people. I'm just their satisfied customer. ^^
If the vote is sufficient, They'll start developing the app for Facebook.
Up! Up! Up! Make this post to the first page. Let peoples know about this..

Yupz... Just need a vote to make them start developing the Facebook apps.
And I think peoples in XDA-Devs not really interested in Facebook.

Yup, please help me forwarding this. I'm currently sending an email to all my Facebook friends, Twitter followers, and all of the forum I'm currently in.
Thanks for the support.. Hope that we can get a decent Facebook apps.
Im in the same boat as you all guys. WM needs a good Facebook apps. The one from MS sucks!
Not only sucks, the one from MS isn't counted as an app at all for me.. I even uninstall it after first use.. It even lack basic auto-refresh feature, not to mention about live-feed... I think that MS' programmers can't even make live-feed feature for Facebook app... Or maybe they don't know how to utilize Facebook's API..
you know ever since I started using Mini5 i kinda fell off the boat as far as using facebook goes. My facebook is sync'd to my yahoo account which I'm using push for. My favorites(which opera mini has that looks like google chrome) has iphone facebook account page saved which has a very slick and usable UI. So its really just one push of the button from the internet. I dunno...if I were to want anything it would be more like the X1's facebook panel which is really nice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eAtiCEE3hDQ and I actually liked it back when i was running the panels on my HD.
No need to copy innovation when you can port it.
you could go to x.facebook.com in opera mobile, works perfectly on my touch pro, but i agree, an app would be nice, especially if its like the xperia one, i sent a request to them.

[Q] where to view Google Wallet transaction history online

Can you see your Google Wallet app transaction history on the web somewhere? It _looks_ like you should be able to see purchases made using the Google Wallet app at https://wallet.google.com/manage/#transactions, but this page just lists my Google Checkout transactions -- there's no record here of anything I bought using the phone app. As far as I can tell, the only place where I can see any record of those transactions is on the phone itself by selecting "Transactions" in the Google Wallet app. Is there a way to see this stuff online that I'm missing? And if these transactions _are_ only recorded on the phone, will all record of them be erased if/when my phone is wiped?
Thanks,
Alan
Does this help?
http://support.google.com/wallet/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=1349469
Thank me if this helped!
Thanks, but I don't see that link helping to solve this. I still don't see a page on the web where I can see a record of transactions made on the phone. Do you?
Can't you just click wallet??
Sent from my XT862 using XDA App
I'm not following you -- "click wallet" where, on what webpage? (If I go to wallet.google.com and then sign in, the list of transactions that comes up does not include anything I bought with my phone.)
At the bottom of this page..

Thanks -- no, the list of transactions that that calls up includes everything I ever bought on Google Checkout, but nothing I bought using Google Wallet NFC purchasing on my Nexus phone. Do you see things on that page that you bought using the Google Wallet Android app?
I'm guessing that this is just about Google not having yet fully integrated Google Checkout and Google Wallet. Though it's possible that it's something screwy with my particular account.
I was looking for the same thing when I came across your thread. I would like to see the two integrated soon because Google definitely advertises it as such. It would be nice to view all transactions online or on your phone. Not exclusive to the device you used.

No, it's not unique to your account.
I wiped my phone, installed a new ROM, reinstalled Wallet. My prepaid card balance showed up, but not a single transaction that I'd made on it shows on either the phone or the web anywhere.
There's a lot of things Google needs to improve to make Wallet a reliable and viable tool. It's no wonder they're not supporting it on any but one phone at this time. It's way undercooked for the masses.
Thanks! This is really good to know. Yeah, with issues like this, it sounds like Google Wallet's still in Beta. I'm not complaining -- it's wonderful to get these visions of the future, and given the choice between using this cool Wallet thing now and waiting a year until it's really polished, I'll choose the former. But, yeah, a fully-baked Wallet product should let you see your NFC transactions somewhere besides on the phone; and there should be an (accessible) record of them that you can access even if you get a new device or wipe your phone.

I got this response from Google Wallet support: right, as we surmised, it seems that Google Wallet/Android and Google Wallet/Online (formerly Google Checkout) haven't been properly integrated yet:
Hello Alan,
Thanks for contacting us. At this time, the Google Wallet mobile app can only be used for in-store purchases. Google Checkout has transitioned to Google Wallet Online Services for online purchases.
We're work towards our ultimate goal of building one wallet that will help you save time and money, whether you’re shopping in-store or online, and hope to have closer integration between these products soon. However, at this time, the transaction histories are separate for these two products.
I recommend submitting this feature request so we can track this issue appropriately. For feedback about the Google Wallet online service, please click on the Submit Feedback link on the bottom of each Wallet page. To provide feedback about the Google Wallet mobile app, touch the Menu button in the app and then touch Send Feedback.

Hi. Did you by any chance submit the issue? If yes, can you please share the link so that we can follow it as well. Thank you.
wallet.google.com still only shows my Google Checkout and Google Play Store purchases. It has no record of my actual Google Wallet purchases. It seems pretty convenient since my account is randomly missing $2 and the transaction log on the device shows no mention of where the magical $2 went.

[Q] How Do I Sign In To Themer?

Hey everyone, how do I sign into Themer? On my Galaxy S4 it gives me the option so sign in with Google or Facebook. I have neither. IF I DID HAVE TO CHOOSE BETWEEN THE TWO HOWEVER I would get a Google account just for Themer... but I don't know if that is possible. When I select to sign into Themer with Google, it tells me to choose a Google account when there is none on the device. What do? (derp) Thanks in advance.

Hi there, we'd advise creating a simple Google account. We use this feature generally for security purposes as well as to display unread email count notifications (as the general population now use Gmail as their preferred email account).
Not everyone wants to participate in social media. I find it disappointing that Themer would require I do so, and is a deal-breaker for me.
Without a google account an android device has only half of its functions. I uderstand google+ but a normal google account?

We understand that it's not for everyone, but it's the best way for us help find new users as well as to keep Themer free. We will soon add options to remove this service.

If you don't have a Google account you may as well not be using android. "Google account" does not equal "social media". Without a Google account you can't even use the Play Store.

You're correct. I realized that I had been confusing google+ with my normal google account. My bad here. I had assumed that since it was requesting me to sign in with my google account or facebook that it was social media related. I, in fact, do have a google account and can access the play store - which is how downloaded Themer to try in the first place.
I'd now like to know why it needs me to sign in with either account. How does that help Themer find new users and keep it free? I'm not being an ass here, just trying to learn new things.

To be honest it's mainly for security reasons on our side. If someone breaches our servers, we can link it to a verified account and take action where necessary. In terms of social, when you log in you might have selected the box to receive emails from Themer about new updates and very important events. In this way, people who have uninstalled Themer because of some reason, might find that it now includes something that they've always wanted. Therefore it helps introduce 'new' users and in turn the more users we have the greater chance we have to generate resources (through the sponsored apps in the Smart Categories, which can also be turned off if the user desires).

Google account is a deal breaker
Hi,
For me this is a deal breaker.
I can follow your reasoning. But how can you give the same app the rights to read (display) all your text-messages, contacts & location together with a personalized login (be it google or facebook).
I know that American mentality is different in this case than German mentality: but I think it is insane to give access to all of these information at once...
I'm not the only paranoid here (if you think I am) but I know a lot of others (Germans) who think the same.
Sorry of I'm too frank: if you want to reach more Germans with your app, then you need to rethink this log-in dialogue.
btw: yes, you can use Android (CyanogenMod) without any kind of account. Works great

Hi Toggler,
We understand your concern, as we are simply a launcher. However, that isn't really the case. As all of our widgets are built in, we require these permissions to allow the user to view his/her unread SMS/Email/Missed Call counts on the homescreen. We don't store any of the information, we simply display it. We've now actually had to remove the Dialer Widget to reduce the number of permissions required, but we still need a few to improve the user's experience. Once Facebook introduces anonymous login, we'll implement that straight away, however right now we need it for security reasons on our end (in then breaching theme servers).
Hope this helps!

[Q] App to Spy (Monitor) Mobile Phone

Hello everyone.
I want to know Android Apps that are used to track your Kids, Office staff or friends.
I'm looking for an app which has the following features.
- Records All calls and store on Cloud accounts (G Drive/ Dropbox )
- Grabs GPS location (wheather gps is on/off)
- Access to photos recieved or clicked.
- WhatsApp & Fb Messenger chat logs.
- All tracking should be remote via Cloud accounts or some weblink.
I'm not sure about all these features in one app, multiple apps will also work. I have rooted device.
I've doubt that my brother is into wrong line, he might be dealing something illegal. So need to track him down and stop.
PS : If I have posted at wrong place, kindly shift it to correct place. Pls dnt ban me!
I ll be glad to hear replies from you. Looking for some urgent solutions.
Thanks SD!
Idk about an app, I do know family base on Verizon helps you track, but pulling FB messages and texts is super secure and hard for an app to be aloud to do that.

How about no. This is illegal. This is immoral. This kind of discussion won't take place on XDA. Thread closed.
