Help I can't see some files after flashing CM 10.1 - AT&T HTC One (M7)

Hello, I have AT&T HTC One rooted bulletproof kernel lastest baseband I think it's .24 and the thether hack and TWRP.
I flash CM 10.1 then I want to go back to my recently done backup and it wasn't there, none of my backups but the data ware on my phone. I don't know why TWRP don't see it. I downloaded some apps to try to restore until it suddenly appeared. I restore it but some applications don't have the data. Just like if it was recently downloaded from the playstore. Even the backups from titanium. It's there but I can't do anything with it because titanium don't see it. Can any one tell me what's happening???
I look on the files on my sd card I notice that for some reason maybe I did something wrong but all my new data its being save on a file call sdcard0 and it's not on my main directory. I have to go to data/sdcard0 and there are my new information. I don't understand why that is happening it should be sdcard no sdcard0.

CM9 update

Hello I'm new in this.
I just installed a custom rom CM9 nightly. When a new version or revision of that MOD come out, what is the procedure to update without loosing all my apps and settings?
Thanks

Download the new nightly, put it on your external or internal SD card, boot into CWRecovery, install zip from SD card, either choose zip from sdcard or choose zip from internal SD card, navigate to the folder where you have the new nightly, choose the file, yes to install it, let it install, reboot the phone. Done. Some people like to clear cache & Dalvik but this isn't an absolute necessity.
Or get Titanium Backup! You'll be able to restore all apps and setting if something went wrong during the update.
During CM9 update /data is safe.
Thank you Guys. I'll practice it.
My backup pro ia also an good backup app for backing up all apps. data, sms, contacts etc..

Just do not restore the system data (essentially anything with red writing)

Data Connect bug?
I have the latest cm9 nightly rom running on my original sensation, and I am having an issue with my data connection where most apps - besides browsers - cannot connect to the internet via my data connection. Is this a known error?
This has happened with a different cm9 rom too so it may be an issue unrelated to the rom. Prior to that I was running stock and was having no issues.
If this issue is unknown I will post more details/specs on my phone.
Thanks
Edit: I see this is in the SG2 Thread. I would delete, but can't find the delete button. My apologies.

Titanium Backup...

I've just reflashed a new build of this custom ROM I'm using (Super Nexus to be precise) now I've done this before and the restore went fine but now I'm having trouble.
For whatever reason Titanium Backup can't find the apps to restore.. or anything for that matter. I have copied a folder containing all the apps that I backed up on both internal & external SD.
Can anybody help me out? it's annoying me now
Go to preferences and look for backup location.

Rom manager backups

I'm rooted, cwm recovery from the all in one tool, tying to do a nandroid. When I go into Rom manager it says no recovery available, told it to use existing recovery, it makes its backups up a secure location it says...don't remember the file path...but when I try to restore it gives me md5 mismatch (should note still on just stock rooted) backups through cwm work but the second I open file manager it moves the directory from extsd back to the secure one and no longer works. I took the sd card from my s3 which was rooted and just put it in the s4 without formatting it so I still have my old nandroids on the card from that and I don't know if that's what's causing the problem or if Rom manager just doesn't work for this phone yet...anyone else come across this? I think the multiple cwm directories might be messing with it but what to be sure before I format the card n reload everything I want in it being Rom manager doesn't seem to have this phone in its database yet

Romance manager has never worked completely on most devices. Even people in the S3 threads will tell you not to use it. Do everything from the recovery menus
Wayne Tech Nexus
I always used it on my s3 n never had any problems, only reason I even use it is to rename the backups cuz I end up with so many diff rooms and can't remember which one is which...guess I'm better off just doing it in root explorer to rename n know they're going to work...I can't even find the directory that Rom manager is trying to save them to, doesn't seem to exist anywhere but in the app itself

goomanager
I use goomanager and the backup goes to my ext sdcard,twrp,backups,10cc6657,i like goomanager because lets you choose where do you want the backup in the sdcard0 or ext sdcard.

[Q] File transfer to internal and sd fail.

s4 verizon
i have searched up and down for some one with a similar issue. i have recently rooted and flashed a rom, i had a few failed attempts with twerp flashing a rom so gave up and flashed back to stock and file transferring is still messed up. only way to get data on my phone is to download it directly to my phone using my phone (roms through xda app)
i am currently running synergy rom fully rooted.
any help or ideas would help.
i have re re re re re installed samsung drivers a ton. i even went as far to install kies..
i have even restored the dell computer i have.. and made sure everything is up to date.
i have posted a screen of the
"Cannot copy item..." notification i get.
UPDATE-
so i tried putting the file in a folder and transferring it and it worked,,, wtf.
still my question is out there,,, is this a hidden android thing that will be on new devices??? or is this the computers fault? should i do a compleate restore to stock on this computer
?
I was having a similar issue and found that apps like titanium backup may restore a system app from another rom that would make my phone act like your phone. Do you use titanium backup?

TWRP + TiBu Update.zip

Hi all, question about creating an update.zip of my apps in TiBu and flashing it using TWRP. I backed up all my user apps and then generated the update.zip file. Booted into recovery, erased, installed CM 10.1, Google Apps, then flashed in the update.zip. I booted up my phone and CM loaded just fine. When I went into my app drawer, however, none of my apps were there. Anyone know what's going on?
Thanks for the help.
I had a similar issue but found that just backing up and restoring through TiBu was far more effective than using the zip method. I am not exactly sure why. Are you able to restore the apps through TiBu without the zip? Also, does the issue persist if you install the rom that the apps were backed up on and then restored using the zip? That may help narrow your issue.

Thanks for the reply. I haven't tried installing through TiBu. I just flashed the nandroid backup which brought me back to the previous version (stock Android). I read somewhere that the update may not work because TWRP doesn't allow for file sizes over 2gb or something.
I managed to get the zip file to work (the first zip I made was only 3mb), and I flashed it. However, for a lot of apps I had problems. The window would pop up and the circle would spin, but eventually I would get an error. So I had to restore my backups through TiBu anyway.

I would install the rom and gapps, let it boot, then boot back in to recovery to install the update.zip (I always rename mine to apps.zip)
