Hello Friends,
My friend is using GT-S5830i and not able to receive video calls on hangout.
The phone is genuine condition (no hacks, root etc).
When i call using mine (grand duos) he is not able to receive it, when receiving he gets a message as "video call is not supported in this phone" (something like that)
Is there any fix for it ?

No your friend cant take any video call because in 5830i there is no secondary camera that's why ! the error comes "video call is not supported in this phone"
yes i know that, i am asking is there any hack or anything like that which will help him get calls.
Besides, I also have sony xperia tippo, that also has no front cam and can receive and make video calls.
So any hack can make it work on ace also ?
Any solution found?
I too have problem making video call via hangouts... the camera button dosnt apear!

I am looking for a software with which I can record both parties conversation in normal phone mode.
There are some software to do recording on speaker mode but I want it on normal mode only strictly due to privacy policy. Have searched on google and on xda-developer also but somewhere I read its possible but how tht link was not working.
If anybody can help me out tht will be
Come on guys please help me. I am ok with bluetooth handset also if it can do the recording.

there are lot of software but it wont be able to record clearly esp calling person statement,

I disagree with you. I´ve been using either Resco Audio Recorder, or Vito Audio notes (which is better in my opinion) and both have poor earing volume, almos no soun at all.

After struggling for almost 2 years finally I found a way to record both parties voice without putting call on speakerphone. You need to install the attached file and then soft reset your device and bingo you are able to record voice using Vito Audio Notes. I have tested it and its working like charm. I'm new to this phone so I'm sorry if this is a silly question, but what is the "Video Call" option in the Contacts?
I've successfully had video chats through Google Talk (2.3.4) but when I try to call someone with a Nexus S using the Video Call option in their contacts, it makes a voice call. This friend's Google Talk/Gmail address are added to their contact in my phone.
So...what is this Video Call option supposed to do? It's not only for video calls between Galaxy S II's, is it??
If it matters I'm in the US, with the phone on AT&T's network.
Video call is supposed to make a 'video call' to any device that supports it, I've done it successfully with a different phone, haven't tried with my sgs2 yet, it's hard to find people that have front cameras and support video calls (eg. not iPhones, even though they have a front camera), also it's usually pretty expensive.
AT&T might have it disabled if it didn't work for you.

As the titles says, does anybody knows any good/working Call Recorder for Droid?
I have tried some of them and got none working. I always get a metallic noise sound once I try to play my recorded call.
All I would like to get is:
- Show a record button on my call screen, so I can record this call or not.
- Dont care about Speakerphone, its even better if does not turn my speakerphone on.
- Free or paid, I dont care, as long as it works

why do you want to record a phone call?
Man, I had so many problems with companies here.
Once happened when they called me, asked me about a service and I decided to get it cause was a good deal. Once I have got the bill, the value was higher then it was supposed to.
So lets say I am not lucky with this and I just want to make sure I have recorded calls when needed

we don't have one yet. it's a known feature request and we may get something working one day.

im on aex 4.3 .dev told me that video call is already supported .my question is yesterday my friend call me through video but i was unable to see him as it was on voice call mode. he called me through jio. even i also try to call him back im unable to found video call option on my contacts .any one help me plz whats going on why im unable to video call him through jio.whatsappp video call working perfectly

You have to enable 4g for that. Video needs 4g not wifi.
