I rooted my galaxy tab 2 7.0 yesterday and flashed cm10.1. Everything was working great until I tried changing my boot animation. When I tried rebooting it rebooted but there was no boot animation and then once it rebooted half of the screen displayed black(it isn't broken because the backlight is on and it works fine when it is in recovery) I boote into recovery and tried restoring it from a backup I made of the stock rom but it keeps saying E:signature verification failed. What am I doing wrong?!? Why is it doing this and how can I fix it?!? Please help, I need my tablet and it is very important to me!

Hi I have a Samsung SGH-i897 I am sort of a noob to android devices but i had the phone rooted and everything was fine then i loaded Fasty Rom to it and everything was still fine now here is where my problem started.
I attempted to load CynagenMod Rom to the phone everything went downhill from there. After many attempts to restore the phone back to stock i keep getting the same thing.. The phone keeps rebooting to Recovery NO MATTER WHAT!! i have been using ODIN3 to flash it back to stock and it doesn't seem to work. ODIN says the phone is doen and passed then the phone restarts i get the att screen then boom right into 2e recovery again.
I tried reinstalling packages and i get into CWM but even there every time i hit restart now it goes right back into recovery again I CANT GET THE PHONE TO BOOT... At this point i just want it back to stock so i can start from square one... Ive tried searching the forums for the past 12 hours and everything i do just brings me back here please someone help me!!!!
I bought my hipstreet flare 2 months ago, 1 night when i was using skype, it froze then i restarted it then it got a boot loop(android logo keeps on repeating its self) CAN ANY ONE HELP ME HOW I CAN FIX THIS ?? thanks

i know this might be a bit late but i came across your thread here and id like to kindly offer my two cents, boot the tablet into recovery mode, search online as too what buttons you will need to hold while booting to make it go into this mode; as its different for some devices. from there wipe the cache and such this should be a factory restore, it will leave your files such as photos but all apps and not pre installed software will be cleared from the system enabling a clean boot.

yeah, I followed a thread which was to install a new rom which is incompatible with the flare and it's now bootlooping on CWM. I think i need the stock rom to flash and then it should be fixed! I just need the .zip to flash, or just any rom compatible with the flare.

I have the SGM2 phone,which i have rooted using instructions on a different site,but very similar to ones found on this forum.
My phone was succesfully rooted, and working perfectly for about 2 months now.
Just today i got a system notification to update,and i stupidly pressed OK.After that the phone rebooted,and its been booting in recovery mode ever since.
There is absolutely nothing i can do to get it to boot normally.
Its CWM-based Recovery v5.0.2.8 which i believe is the right one for this phone.
Please help !!!!!!

it worked perfectly until last night when the tab froze and i had to restart the tablet
but then the real problem began
it just got stuck at the CyanogenMod logo screen and can never fully restart the tablet
I tried boot into CWM, but i cant seem to perform the factory reset
can anyone please help me?:crying::crying::crying:

If you can't reflash CM10.1 try flashing stock rom via odin.

I own a Samsung Galaxy S III GT-i9300 International Version. I recently started experimenting with roms and cwm and i think i ended up in a dark tunnel. I rooted my phone and installed clockwork (cf auto root) and then tried installing KitKat Rom 4.4 but kept failing each time i entered recovery and tries to flash it. by reading other posts it was suggested to use a higher version of cwm as i was using a 5.0.4.6 version. after trying a later version the rom flashed and also the gaps without any problem. however after booting i realized i had no service, but the phone seemed ok. i decided to flash modem_XXDME4 and Modem DDEMG2 in recovery after reading some posts to get signal back. that's when the trouble started, when the phone rebooted i could not get pass the setup screen to select language, touch is not responding up to this time, i reflashed stock rom, it booted and still no touch , cant get pass the start screen of the language selection. my phone never fell and the creen has no sign of falling. any help would be greatly appreciate.....:crying::crying:
