Hey, i have a samsung galaxy s3 on 4.1.2 rooted with CF auto root and with CMW installed. I am still on stock ROM. its a 16 Gigabytes GT i9300.
The thing is that i want to try installing a custom rom for the first time and heard that PARANOID ANDROID is the best out there. But unfortunately all tutorials require an external SD card to falsh paranoid rom. So is there anyway to get the rom without an external SD card? I have like 3 gigabytes free space on my phone.
One more thing i would like to know please is if i can flash Syiah kernel after having CF auto root. And will dual boot slow my phone? And finally does syiah dual boot work with parnoid?
Thanks in advance guys!

You can flash roms form internal or external sdcard. The process is the same. Just navigate to the files in recovery.
Dual boot is complicated. I would get more familiar with the normal flashing process first because dual boot complicates things.
Can anyone link me to a PARANOID rom that works with my phone please?

Hi all,
I recently rooted my phone so I could install a custom ROM. I´m new with android and also with rooting. After reading a lot of articles about rooting and flashing a custom ROM, I decided to give it a chance. Because the CyanogenMod is very populair, I decided to flash this ROM. I rooted my phone with Odin adding the Siyah Kernel. This worked and I followed the manual on the CyanogenMod Wiki for I9100. I flashed CM10 with ClockworkMod Recovery. Everything went fine and I saw the great interface, which is a lot better than touchwiz.
But I could't use the camera app: No external storage available. A 16GB SD card is inside. It appears CM can't mount the SD. I also saw the internal storage: 1.97GB. But the internal storage has to be a lot more than that.
I might think that it has something to do with the encryption I did within Touchwiz. I haven't decrypted the file system before flashing the ROM...
Anything I can do?
Update: I went back to the stock ROM, and could acces the internal storage and SD card. Then flashed CM10 again, and everything was working well!!

Same Problem here, I update from CM 9 to CM 10 and I can't use Camera and It seemd than there is no internal SDCard

I am too having this issue ever since moving to custom ROMs. Its not the ROM as its happened on RR and RB ROMs.
I find it happens when the phone crashes and needs to be rebooted by holding the power button down.
Sometime after a few restarts I am then able to get the internal storage to mount, other times I need to turn the phone off and leave the battery out for a while but its just happened and nothing I am doing is working.
I really hope someone can help.
Try dori kernel. Should Mount OK custom is either 8.xx or 9.xx
I am using Dori (9.33). Having said that it never used to be as much of a problem when I used to run Siyah.

Try 9.32 I use 8.32 and have swapped ROM this week about 7-8 times and have no problems.
my friend has samsung vibrant t-mobile he was running custom ics rom and the mobile gave error of encryption disk so he brought to me
i tried to odin it with stock jfd rom
but the phone starts shows the samsung logo and agains swith off
i have even tried flashing eugene rom and later with jfd rom with repartition but still it shows the same displays samsung logo and then switches off
kindly help me out
Unfortunately he has been hit with the EU bug that plagues ICS ROMs on the gs1 devices. There is a workaround to use the external SD card. Some people have claimed to recover there internal SD but most are stuck without access. See this guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=24418319
Would you prefer my usual method of conflict resolution?

Good day all. I have a rooted Sprint Galaxy Note 3 on the stock ROM and also still on the stock Recovery. I am trying to find out if and how to use my 64GB microSD as internal storage. I had the Galaxy Note II prior to this phone and I remember having this done through a script that I ran with Smanager. That method doesn't seem to work on this phone...any suggestions or methods that I can use/try without needing a custom recovery? The microSD card is in the original format (exFAT?) it came out of the box with (I just put it in and it worked SANDISK ULTRA) Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.
You could try this, but there's no promise it will work or won't muck something up. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2285221
Hi guys
I have searched high and low for a solution for this, but no body seems to be having the same problems as me!
Basically, whenever I flash a kitkat rom, with the correct recovery etc. (cwm 6.0.4.5) It all works fine, except the recovery and rom cannot find my internal storage. I cant use camera or download anything, due to the "Insert SD card" error.
Is it something that I may be doing wrong? I thought i may need to format it, but when in the cwm 6.0.4.5 / kitkat rom, I cant find it on the phone to format it, and when I connect to the computer (IMac) via usb storage, only my external storage shows up. It works fine with cyanogenmod 9 though. I am rooted, running cm 9 4.0.4 (ICS) with cwm v6.0.1.2.
Any help to get past this would be much appreciated.
Best regards,

The Mac has difficulties to read most of the devices and I know it because I have one also i (model Early 2009). Try to format the internal memory and tell me that ROM uses in particular.
Hey whats up I pretty new to this so please excuse my ignorance. Im install kitkat 4.4 and cyanogenmod 11 on my S3 t-moblie but I've run into a problem. When I use twrp its its not reading my Micro sd card or my internal storage. it say 0MB for both. I have no idea what to do. Ive loaded it though my labtop directly to my sdcard...nothing. I manually put the files there through root explorer and es files explorer...nada..I tried to factory restore my phone and that didn't help. I uninstalled titanium backup and restarted my phone, but whne i did the cyanogen avatar came up and took me through the twrp process again. I phone works and i dont want to mess is up but i really want kitkat 4.4 is there anyway i can load it with oden? any help would be greatly appreciated :good:
