[Q] Opening Zip files and still flash it back

Just a noob question. is it okay to flash the zip file after it is being opened without any modification done to the files?
Yes . As long as you didnt modify any files, it is safe to flash .

or just use lgpwn, that's what i did, and u can easily unroot by going into settings on supersu (of course download it off of playstore) and click "Uninstall root Perminantly" or something like that and boom, you're unrooted. And the best part about it is you can go back to root whenever you want and do the same process to get unrooted and you won't damage your device.
I'm not trying to unroot, simply needed the stock System and Meta-Inf files.

You are asking for the whole ROM, just download the kdz or cwm backup.

Will I be able to extract the System and Meta-Inf files? It's only two little files.

Sure but you might need a manager to do it. I created an update.zip file from titanium backup and extracted the meta-inf from there. . .

So you need stock files or just any flashable zip file to get its content? If you want later please download from http://d-h.st/T63
Does anyone have just the stock files? I'm not the best when it comes to kdz's, and the last flashable zip I found wasn't extractable. This is what I'm trying to undo.

[Q] Why unistalling system apps not working with cm11 on gs3 i9300?

Ok, updated my phone to the first nightly build on cm11, everything is working fine except for the fact that I cant modify system apps or files although im rooted.
Eg. I cant replace bootanimation.zip
Eg.2 I cant uninstall a system app
Is this a problem with the rom or what?!
Reminder: I AM ROOTED!!

What are you using to remove apps ???and how .
Are you just trying to remove the apk in a root explorer? If so does /system have the correct permissions?

I tried to use the following apps from the play store:
1.Root app delete
2.Clean master
Both failed to work as root app delete says that I am not rooted, and clean master fails to uninstall a system app although I granted it root permission.

And also I forgot to mention that root browser does not let me delete system apps despite the fact that I granted it root permission. I tried solving this issue by reinstalling busy box but that did not work either.
Sorry if I'm posting this on the wrong form, I'm new here

Rom toolbox also fails to remove system apps - however simply deleting them with root explorer works fine (after which, I use SD maid to clear up any corpses).

I told you, I tried using a root file manager app but it just fails.

I don't care what you told me (or not). I was simply stating my findings.

OK, I'm sorry for mistreating you, I will try to use Root Explorer to see if it works and then let you know.
