As I can change the transition animations when I enter the applications

Download nova or apex launcher. They have option to change animations. :good:

thanks
Thank you.. but it would want that the animations were for all the system and also for the emergent windows

3rd party launchers have that option but not the stock ones. some custom roms have that either.
remember: the title should present your problem in a simple way. not like hello, hi..

[Q] Changing lockscreen

Is it possible to change the lockscreen so that ill push some lockscreen apk to the system files? When using third party lockscreens there is a lag so sometimes the lockscreen doesnt come up when turning on the screen. I would like to get rid of that lag.

Depending on the ROM you are using, try jKay mod and install jkday deluxe settings.

You can have transparent lockscreen, or aosp lockscreen with multiple sliders to unlock, launch applications, and so on.
I would like to have MagicLocker with Android 4.0 theme as my default lockscreen. Or some other ICS themed lockscreen.

Go locker is also good if you're interested in show offs. Great themes for it are out there. Drawback, it needs the launcher.

[Q] Changing touchwitz icons

I'd like to change GOSms icon with the stock SMS app icon to put it on dock and replace the stock SMS app, how can I change an app icon with touchwitz? I'd change it because GOSms icon is smaller than other icons in the dock and it's very ugly
Desktop visualizer :good:
Thanks my friend! Very useful!
I know its not a direct answer to your question but you could try another launcher. Apex Launcher allows full control over icons and titles for every item on your home screens.
Forgive me for crashing the thread, but I also need some help changing icons. I want to change the dock icons (on stock Rom) and I am using apex launcher pro. On my HTC Sensation and apex launcher, all I need to do is long press the icon and I then have the option to change it, but when I long press on sgs, the only option I get is to remove app. I am sure it must be simple, can someone help me out. Thanks.
I feel a bit stupid now. After uninstalling all third party launchers and re-installing them, I now have all the correct options to edit the dock icons.

is there any way to change the stock icon in the touchwiz lock screen? I can use desktop visualizer to create the shortcut with new icon on the dock, but touchwiz lock screen icons I cannot change to customize.

Widget selection screen

I find this widget selection screen clumsy and ugly in Touchwiz, it's much better in GolacherEX and other launchers.
Anyone know how to make it display widgets list alike, like it was before?

long press home screen, select widgets from menu....job done
Thats exactly how widgets look when i do that, this was like this on SGS3Touchwiz, Galaxy S2 had this list alike widget list, also had mod that same widgets were grouped together.

ah, my bad, I'm using nova launcher which gives the old style list, must be touchwiz way then....change launcher
Nah...first time now i like how stock launcher looks, nova is ugly.

If you need stock TW launcher then I think you need to get used to it. This is how stock ICS launcher handles widgets and apparantly sammy didn't bother changing it.. But I kinda like it.
Lots of things sammy dont think, they should have listen the users more. Nova is ok, Golauncher seems better, but i stick with stock till someone makes new hacked version of this touchwiz.
I really like how stock launcher change pages, havent seen so cool looking on any launchers even they have more options to change it.

I do like TW launcher but what bugs me a lot is the way TW launcher create folder. Samsung choose to use ICS style on the widgets but decided not to use ICS style on adding folder. Doesn't make any sense. :banghead:

Maybe use apex launcher and then choose touchwiz theme as design? Dunno if that fits all your needs though
I use sslauncher and hitting the menu key gives the traditional.Samsung options, like settings / wallpaper and long press the screen gives options for Widgets etc.

Homescreen transition animation will never be the same
And of course the clock widget will be gone. So not fit to my need.

[Q] Create a shortcut to go to TouchWiz

Hi, I recently installed some launchers and set one to be my default launcher for when i hit the home button. I know that if i go into the app managment page i can reset the default and then set touchwiz as the default however that is not my question.
My question is: Can i create a shortcut to go to the touchwiz launcher without resetting the default launcher? The other launchers i have installed have app icons so i can just click them and they open however touchwiz does not. Does anyone know how to make a touchwiz icon or some way to easily change the default launcher?
Thanks in advance :good:
Try Minimalistic text. You can use it to create a widget to launch TW Home.
