Can anyone here help to make a custom rom for karbonn android A1???
I have everything that a devoloper needs for modding. Like i have its flashing tool and its stock rom which contains its orignal system.img, userdata.img, bootloader.img and recovery.img files (i got these files from service centre)
Can anybody do this???

Sir can you please give me the stock rom and the flashing tool of karbonn a1 as my phone is hanged on "karbonn" logo and when i tried to reboot nothing happens pls sir give me the stock rom and flashing tool so that i can flash stock rom.... pls sir pls pls pls rply fast

Dude here's the clockworkmod recovery for ur device..
Instructions
1 Download mobile uncle tool from playstore.
2. Download the recovery whch I hv pasted and extract it to the root of ur SD card (phone memory)
3. Rename the file to recovery.img and open mobile uncle tool, select recovery update and it will detect dis recovery automatically.
4. Now jst tap on recovery file and u will be asked some confirmation jst hit OK and reboot to recovery dats it!
Now u have a CMW recovery on your xolo a800!!

Hi Balamurali,
You need to have CWM recovery installed. Download the zip and place it in the root of your sd card. Here are the steps.
1.Reboot to recovery
2. Take full nandroid backup. (Under backup and restore settings)
3. Factory reset/Data wipe.
4. Wipe cache.
5. Wipe delvik cache under advanced settings.
6. Wipe battery stats.
7. Go back to main menu and install zip from sd card.
8. Flash XOLOA8004.2.2.zip
9 Reboot system.
10. Wait for 5 minutes and enjoy.

No you can't
No, you can't install this phone's ROM to galaxy s duos, it has different hardware and doing that will not work, there is only one custom ROM for our phone as much as I know, It is called KyleOpen ROM and it has ICS base.

There are NO JellyBean ROMs for S Duos yet. Flashing non-compatible ROMs can brick your device.
KyleOpen ROM is the only custom ROM available for your device

I do not own this device but all the links to the rom are not for the rom, but are for gapps 4.2.2. if you flash them you are bound to brick your device.
hey just heard about samsung galaxy s duos s7582... which suppors jb 4.2 which is not supported by s7562 and is still having 4.0.4 stock any ideas on how we can port the 4.2 release to s7562 ??

It is not a JB rom! Its an ICS only! Just tweaked in settings to 4.2.2. Genuine ICS rom nevertheless

Available RAM looks promising. Are you sure we can flash this without any harm to our device?
If yes, then I'm ready to test it.
EDIT: I see that you have used Cheatman's kernel. Is it OC1 kernel @ 1.2 GHz? If not can I use OC1 kernel without any performance implications?

Why dont you try with stock rom of s7582( new S DUOS 2) it has stock rom of jb
I have heard that s duos is getting jb update and the Chinese one (s7562c) has received jb 4.1.2. Is it true???
Has anyone got the update???
EDIT:Sorry, I got to know that S7562c is galaxy trend duos.

You need to build it from source. There are a lot of tutorials for doing so.
