Unzip initrd.gz and find out that the folder name must be linux, so chang it, and it sucessfully boot.:laugh:

About the touch behavior you have to edit the file in /etc/x11/ .conf
to add some words

Just an fyi , there is a thread for viper and colored bubbles , they do work on 5.1.1 , have you tried ? I tested and they do work.

No I flashed them in recovery , they all worked for me .

The MMS bubble mods for Viper are VRThemes so they have to be flashed with AmonRA recovery.
I don't know if another recovery supports VRThemes

I use AmonRa but they do not seem to work for me on One XxX 5.1.1

That means one rom uses mms.apk while the other uses messages.apk
Use 7 zip to open the file and keep opening folders until you find a folder called either mms or messages. Change the name to the other and flash .

Still having problems. I did exactly as you instructed and still have stock colors. I am using Newts One XxX it has mms.apk. and mms.odex i wonder if that helps you out. I am trying to do the silver and dark gray colors

Ah that mms.odex will overwrite the mms.apk. Try to rename the mms.odex file to mms.odex.bak or something then reboot. That should make the ROM start using the APK file and at the same time, use the graphics in the mms.apk.

Make sure you manually move this into your system/app and change perms accordingly. Make sure your mms.odex is there as well with the same perms. Also if you did rename the mms.odex before to .bak or something please undo it. It needs to be Mms.odex

I have some problem for my flash in camera...i dont know its bug from ultimate hd rom or not...
I cant use flash from my camera and i cant use flash with another apk...example :torch light
And in camera...i cant see flash option...

Extract SystemUI.apk from /system/app using Root Explorer , zip it and then upload as normal file here or any cloud ... I just need to original file
Btw ... this file will be different across different mods like battery % etc so every user might have different end-result ... best is that each person updates their own SystemUI specific from their phones
Switch to the Imnuts VZW Tweaked Rom. It has a feature called TSM Parts. That's just one of the UI tweaks available

You can use apktool to decompile, edit files required and then recompile ..

Hi Guys.
Just was having some fun with the gain.conf file in the 4.3 leaked firmware.
I Have pushed up the volume to 60DB.
Can someone test it and verify.
I have tested it and there is a considerable difference.
Steps to use the mod are simple-
Download the attached Conf file and the Volume.db file.
using a root explorer replace them in the system>etc folder.
Backup your conf file in case you want to revert back.
Volume is boosted to 60 DB for all.
That is..
Speaker
Earphones
FM Etc.
You want more then 60 db?? Request. I will be glad to give another values to you as well.
PS- If you become deaf or dumb NOT MY PROBLEM

Volume.db is to disable camera and boot sound.

I am happy with 60 even with it i cant push the volume till max..! 80db means il loose my ears.. u want i can give it to you..
