Google voice or Google now? To disable voice go to settings>Language and input the uncheck the box relating google voice. To disable google now go to google search widget and tap menu button and there'll be an option to disable it(off). And you mean the Google search widget or? Be more specific and more detailed.

Why would you want to uninstall it? Google Now is extremely helpful. If you're keen on it go right ahead, but I don't see any drastic improvements or benefits from it.

I recently installed the Google Now ICS app and now whenever I double tap the home button nothing happens. S Voice doesn't start. I checked the option in settings regarding double tapping home to start S Voice and it's checked. Anybody know what to do?

Google now sort of replaces the s voice in that way at least.. You can still open the app from the app drawer tho

But as far as anybody knows you can't change the button.

Does anyone know how to get the default player to search through songs when the search button is pressed? I would use another player but it wouldn't have beats. I'm on meanrom gb.

Not too familiar with that app but you can set Google search to include your music. Open up regular Google search or Google now and edit the settings with the menu. Hope that helps.

Hello, I am on Official JB update and google now is not working for me either. I can't even do commands, "set an alarm for 8AM" will result in a sort of default alarm at 12am, for example.

Hi
Just as the title says how can I read my Google notes in my phone?
The build in note isn't connected to Google it seems as one would expect.

Is there really no one who uses the notes from their google account?
On my iPhone it connected the build-in notes program with google notes so it downloaded my notes from google and also uploaded any new notes i made, i really miss this on my android now
If you know any way to achieve this please let me know. Thanks!
Open Gmail third icon along "manage labels", Scroll down to notes
Sorted

Problem with this proposal is that i can not edit the notes from phone as a "note". They are handled as email using gmail android application.
So question is still open....
Or use evernote?
