I cant seem to download anything all of a sudden.... roms....kernels....etc from androidfilehost. I have not changed anything on my phone except flashing faux kernel a few days ago (which by the way is fantastic since my gnex...same on note 2). Are others having similar issues or is there problems with servers and a holiday weekend? To much time off with so much goodness to download and flash? Thanks in advance for any help

Something is wrong with their servers, I have no issues starting downloads but it doesn't actually download the real file, just a 147 byte portion.

Yup. Thanks.... thats what happens to me as well. It starts and ends just as abruptly. Either something was wrong or my quad cores just got roided up and became faster than light! Would be nice if the downloads were that fast though lol. Maybe one day......

I was trying to download goodness....but the main download wont work on my phone or computer and bigtoysrock had a temporary link he was nice enough to put up for everyone in the meantime but that wont work for me either.. thanks if you can.

No I havent... I have been using Dolphin. I have no affinity towards any one browser so I will freeze dolphin and give opera a try....thanks.

ok. so I tried all 3 variants of opera with no luck.... but landed on firefox and was able to download your port of goodness in its entirety. not sure if I really like firefox.... but it did the trick! thanks

I find it funny that on all of the links I tested yesterday on different browsers (Opera, Firefox, Dolphin, NakedBrowser, Maxthon, Maxthon HD, and a couple others) nothing would download. It may be fixed now but for a while yesterday nothing worked for me.

Anyone down to test the newest ROM being put together by myself and tehbeetus? I'll update the OP with a link if I get enough responses.
It's as AOSP as it gets, ~500MB of RAM free continuously, stock AOSP lockscreen, stock AOSP icons, super sleek and fast. It's awesome so far.
We're just looking for some beta testers right now. Built from the Nexus S 4G dump and from my other ROM. The ROM is running fine, just need others to report back on any issues they get before we release this into the wild for good.

In case you didn't know, full wipe (user data, cache, dalvik) is required, otherwise it might not work at all.
I'd backup those wimax keys too.
For anyone still wondering just grab the megaupload link on page 1 and that's all you need.

Just made this earlier today cause i was bored. just made this for the people curious of how stable and fluid it is, my camera ran out of memory in the middle but oh well. and sorry for the shakey video, my tripod broke.
everything works perfect though, just get 2 FCs, one you will see in the video and always randomly get "HTC reader" fc.
also, i have probably over 50-60 apps downloaded and random crap and its still this fluid. when i first installed it i had over 500mb of RAM free, now i have about 300mb. thats way better than 3.0.

Because its not officially released yet. Google now works amazingly, video cam doesn't work and there are wake lock issues but once battery life is fixed its my daily

Its probably about there for daily driver. Data still funky..didnt recognize sdcard2, gallery and camera were iffy. SMS worked but never tried mms. It ran good besides that. No fc except gallery after a long wait and camera should since it froze. The base rom is solid though.

The ROM is ALMOST daily driver material. The battery life is atrocious compared to other ROMs, but that's something that will be worked out. After that is fixed, I would call it a DD.
SD card already works, camera is somewhat stable, Google Now works well, and I'm not seeing many force closes.

If I need to "hit 1 for English," I'm SOL. If I need to use speaker, I'm SOL. Etc.

Haven't used it but will be installing it later. I'm sure its the same as cm10 since it is based on it. It will probably run just as well.

You should check the CM10 thread such as the post below to find out about issuers before loading this ROM.

Netflix closes immediately upon launch. Several apps close intermittently: Email, Gmail, & Flipboard are some examples.

If this is like CM10A2, GoSMS should suffice as a workaround.

I get an SSL error every time I think it's just BC I'm in Afghanistan and I'm on the base WiFi. If you could drop box it that'd be great, as long as it's okay with jose (rhyme lol)

That's all I use. I tried stock browser too. I can try any suggestion but its my internet I can't get on that website. They don't exactly have high speed time warner in Afghan feel me I'm lucky to have internet at all I feel like a pog

No data and no Wi-Fi for me, I didn't try GPS. Other than that it's really smooth and I like the interface, very nice looking. I looked in the mobile networks settings for the network type and only had options for 3g, 2g or none.

FYI for those who are currently on CM. After flashing MIUI and restoring back to CM, my radio was (kinda)busted. Thankfully I didn't have to perform the procedure in post 2 of CM thread, but I did have to go into the mobile network settings and fix them, also had to re-wipe cache and dalvik to get MMS working again. So expect that when going back to CM.
