Im trying to download Beans 19 to my phone. I've tried a few different browsers and all of them will download 14kb then say download complete. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Chrome or opera work best, and make sure it's pulling up the full site. We have had the same issues lately. But it does work, you just have to find that sweet spot.
Make sure you have enough free memory for the download. That ended up being my problem for the same issue

Well if you're downloading from android filehost something was wrong earlier today and wouldn't let any downloads go through no matter what.

I had the exact same issue the last week. their website says to use chrome....ie.....or firefox. I tried dolphin, opera, stock android, finally downloaded firefox from play store and all went well. I dont really like firefox as a browser on android but im gonna keep it in my pocket in case its needed fir downloads again. try firefox .....

I couldn't download it using Dolphin, chrome worked though.
Finally got it downloaded using chrome, thanks for the help!

When I had my cappy I could download apk and zip files and stuff that people posted on the forums while browsing on my phone. I can't do that anymore. It just keeps saying download unsuccessful. It is kind of a paint to see something I want then have to go to the computer. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to change something in the settings? Thanks for any input.

Do you have a folder in the internel sdcard named DOWNLOAD ?
If not create it and try downloading again. (using default browser).
You should be able to download anything off of internet.

Try downloading "download all files" from the market, it allows the stock browser to download any file type

I checked for the download folder and it was there. I downloaded that app from the market and that did the trick. I am not sure why I never had to do that on my captivate. Maybe it was the rom I was running. Thanks for the help, guys.

I have the same problems with downloads being unsuccessful with the stock browser. But on all other browsers our seems to work fine. I just copy paste the link into a different browser if I want to download something. Dolphin and opera both work fine.

All my other devices I could nab an apk- or file from xda or Google right from the device..
On photon content not supported on apk- from stock browser or xda app ?
If I use dolphin browser... set as desktop agent works fine..
Can stock browser be set to support downloads? And yes I have unknown sources checked

Stock browser is picky. Sometimes it will some times it wont i know astro has an option to download in stock but it doesnt seem to work. Usually what i do it just download it via firefox. That always works. Stock will download zips and rars though. Look around in tue market see if there are any file managers that work and let us all know

Try using astro file manager. Under preferences there is an option to enable download. Since i did that i can download anything.

Hi there, i'm an Atrix user but frequently browse the Photon forum as i believe our devices are not too disimilar, i had this problem when i first got my Atrix. I found a solution by downloading an app from the market called Download All Files, works perfect for me. Hope you guys don't mind me posting here.

BTW, Dolphin Browser HD is the best.
Probably a stupid question already known by many, but im really anxious to try this one out (ICS pre leak Seraphim's) so here goes.. For whatever reason i can't get a download to start even thru the mirror..... Is it the link(s) itself, or did i need to start wipin and retry? Im on stock GB 2.3.6 rooted with Cwm, always get "download Unsuccessful"..plenty of room in all storage. .Thanks in advance.

Hi folks
Ive tried to d/l I9100XWLS8 twice, and both times, hotfile has stopped at 99% @ 50k/s.for an hour both times If your d/l this new firmware, ide hang on till later or overnight as it may be broken or Hotfile trying to be sneaky and force people to pay for premium.
Ive had a look around the web and cannot find a torrent or another mirror hosting this, so not sure whats up or if anyone could help, it'd be greatly appreciated.

THanks for this link.. really good to know this and helpful. Ive decided to switch back to Firefox as well. I used to use FF with NoScript, but i kinda tried IE9 one day and liked it.. Oh well.

Does anyone on here play it? If so wanted to see if your links work on the browser on your phone. Mine don't. I can't navigate the page at all to view anything. Switch Between leagues or anything. Didn't know if it's a setting or something. Ive tried using chrome and stock browsers.

Just downloaded it. It works now! Thanks. So im assuming its a flash problem?? My brothers s4 non rooted can navigate page just fine in chrome where as I can not...not sure whats up with that.

Most likely it is a flash issue. As far is what's happening with your brothers s4 I have no idea why it would work and yours not. Enjoy

It's very weird bc it works on my wife's phone also. Both non rooted. Mine is rooted but stock (no rom). Idk it's bothering me lol!
Ha figured it out. It was the ad blocking host file. Disabled ad blocking and rebooted and it works now.
