Hey.
In these days im currently doing some minor changes on XT910 - 4.1.2 AU zip.
I was wondering if someone can help me to make 2 minor changes :
1) make a transparent Status bar & center clock.
2)Change the system font color to black.
Please contacts me.
Thanks.
I believe you could get help if you post in the correct section.

It would be very helpful if you say what happened - did you figure it out, is there no answer, is it fixed? It might be better than deleting if others could find it in searches and use it - especially since Google will keep it for a while even if the mods delete it.
Well...its pretty silly actually, when u picked out all the mods and on "upload" tab, make sure under "..flashable zip scripting", choose "type Galaxy" then upload system files as normal, everything will work out fine. Took me awhile to figure it out though.

I hope I'm allowed to post this kind of thread.
It's about fixing the -check for updates>error :Motorola account required -.
So... If some one can be kind and upload his file: system/bin/sh, I would be really greatful.
There is a code I searching for.
Thanks.

Edit :
Strange... Didn't found anything that could help.
Strange, cause in super user, the root goes directly to system/bin/sh by the cheesecake.
The problem causing by the app cheesecake.
Has anyone idea what files being edited by the cheesecake app?

You should post questions in q/a section.
Cheers

To OP see here. Moved to Q&A
Cheesecake edits a default.xml file and build.prop.
It doesn't work correctly on razr. Configs must be set manually.
Cheers

Anyone knows a basic system ui mod tool for arc s w/c doesn't require rooting your phone? That also includes status bar and even the battery indicator. Any info is gladly appreciated. Thanks!

Happened to me before when I did flash the wrong status bar for the firmware version or odex/deodexed version.
You can try a dirty flash of the stock rom without wiping data or moving the SystemUI.apk into the appropriate folder, give the permissions correctly and restart the phone (not sure if this would work though).
yeah actually i thought about that..but im keeping that option for last xD...how did you solve the problem?

for what? flashing a rom? have a look in the general section's stickies, there is a guide on how to.
If you have a nandroid backup just restore.
Otherwise reflash your rom and restore data.
just move the original systemui to /system/app and set the correct permissions.
and if you should have a backup if you followed the instructions
i dont have a backup :/
how do i fix permisions??
