Was wondering if there was a setting I could change with SQLite Editor that would allow me to change the Color scheme for the messaging app. I already know you can set a background to use behind messages, but was wondering if I could change how the menu is shown and give it a black theme like on the galaxy s3 instead of a white color scheme. Did some searching and it appears different versions of the s4 have different color schemes so I assume it should be an easy change, but maybe not. I own a Verizon Galaxy S4.
Thanks

Hi
I'm very happy with my brand new FlipOut, but I'm not with the default color scheme: some of colors conflicts with applications, resulting in some grey-on-black texts, or blue-on-red notifications.
Is there a way to change the color scheme?
yeah there are many apps which change the theme!
i use "91 panda home 2" its free. it changes your menue etc.
there is a theme market linked in it..so you can choose what you want!
i like the default theme comes with panda 2. sometimes there is a bug in it. after the first use of a new theme you have to flip the display and back...then you have the right orientation!
by the way panda is also a nice app because it changes to smaler icons..
I've already changed my home app (I use Zeam), but unfortunatley it doesn't change color scheme for non-home elements. Does Panda can do it?
what i have seen it changes everything try out plz...its in the market
I've tried it: it changes desktop, dockbar, but notification bar and global color for apps (background/foregrounde selected colors especially) they remain the same.
Any news about system colours changer app? I hate that grey-like look!
Hello,
My question is, if possible change all font in all applications. It's possble with a module of Xposed?
I do an example:
Change the font color of the messages. The characters are now white.
Even the characters of the applications menu are white.
How do I change the font from white to another color?
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Plus with EhndroixII
I have noticed for a long time now that since ICS and JB, the stock messaging app has an option for background color which shows a black or white "T" implying its for the text. I have changed this many times and it never seems to do anything since my Galaxy S1 days. What does it really do and does it work for anyone? I don't like the stock messaging app black background in the conversation list and if this is supposed.to change that, then I want to fix it.
bump anyone?
I have been running a 4.3.1 Paranoid Android build. I don't like the dark themes of the system apps. I prefer the stock LG User Interface and colors. I want to know how I can change from the default white text on black background to black text on white background. A color scheme similar to the stock LG UI is preferred. I also couldn't find a widget that matches the functionality of the stock ROM's notification settings. I really liked the brightness slider in the swipe notifications in the stock UI.

Not sure if you have tried this? Xblast Exposed Frameworks Works great on my phone Samsung S2. Worth a glance maybe...
Look in the play store for "cm 10" or "cm 10.2" themes. Then in settings, find the theme section and apply your new theme. What gets themed will vary between themes, and some will be free as well as some running any where from $.99-$2.00. There are a wide variety of choices, just find one that matches your liking.
Also try adding search terms like light holo or white to narrow down what you want. There is also a thread here on xda showcasing themes made by members here, it should be in "android development" -> "android themes"

There is a link to the thread, I hope you can find one to suit your liking.

I tried changing the dark holo background color to white, but I also had to change the default text color from white to black. This made the text unreadable in apps where the dark background did not change to white.
So, on my note 8, I used a them called (red) strokes. On the S10+ my text messages are white on teal, and the received are like white text with a light grey bubble, incredible difficult to see, and the background is white.
But that them includes the red keyboard...
So, is there anyway to customize just the messaging app background and text bubbles, and or the keyboard colors independently of downloading an entire theme?
Is there a way to modify my theme without somehow magically being accepted into the Samsung Theme developer thing that they have, to gain access to samsung theme editor?
Perhaps try a different messaging app? Android Messages is a solid choice with light and dark theme options. Of the third party apps, I'd recommend Textra or Pulse which have many options such as light or dark and accent color choices.
